J2: The Deception
It had been two years since Jade was given Section 13. She had no major problems to deal with during those two years, then suddenly a new threat fell upon everyone in the city. Many reports came in that a lizard man was attacking innocent civilians and kidnapping them. The captured people were never seen again. Jade had a bad feeling those people may be dead, especially when she heard that there were now mutilated body parts being found randomly strewn across the city. She was going to put a stop to it!
She told no one that she was going to confront this lizard guy and make him sorry he ever came to her city. Jade told Jim, her second-in-command, that she was going to be in her office all night to devise a plan to stop the new enemy and she did not want anyone disturbing her. Jim assured her no one would bother her and he would see to it.
'Good ol' Jimmy-boy.' Jade thought to herself as she snuck out of Section 13 undetected. 'I'm glad I got him as a second-in-command. He's very loyal and that's hard to find these days. Now, gotta find that lizard goon and blow his head off. Killing that monster is the only way to save others from being killed. The files I read said something about the beast being sighted mostly at dark deserted areas near the eastern side of the city. Especially at the abandoned warehouse district. I'll just take a cab and I'll be there in no time.'
Jade whistled for a taxi and felt a tad nervous as she rode in the backseat to the warehouses. No one had actually seen this lizard guy up close. He might not be some nut who got plastic surgery done to look like a lizard. He could be something a lot worse, like a demon! Jade scolded herself. She wasn't afraid of demons. She fought plenty before and won. If this one was a real demon, she was sure she could handle him, even though she hadn't fought any for years. She knew demons didn't like crosses, but she didn't wear her cross necklace or bring any crosses with her. Also a good chi spell book would have been handy. She remembered back when she was a kid and had used spells and the Talismen on those nasty demons.
Those Talismen were the only reason why she didn't shatter Shendu's statue body. She was sure if she did, she would lose his powers forever. They helped a lot in keeping the city safe from criminals and low-life scum. She kept the Talismen in a separate room far away from Shendu. If anyone put the stone discs into the empty holes in his rock skin, he would become flesh and blood again. Jade did not need a twenty foot dragon demon sorcerer loose in Section 13. She made sure he was put into isolation. He tried talking her into setting him free and since she was a ShadowKhan queen before, he would spare her. He even promised a place by his side as his queen of evil. Jade had refused viciously and promptly sealed him into solitary. The nerve of that demon!
Jade was glad she took the Dragon Talisman with her. She would need it to kill this lizard guy, whatever he may be. The taxi cab stopped. She paid the driver and got out slowly. The night was extra cool and it made her shiver. Though she was not only shivering from the cold. Many doubts raced through her mind. What if this lizard guy couldn't be killed? What if he got her first? Who could help her? No one knew she left Section 13. Maybe this was a bad idea.
Jade knew she couldn't turn back now. No way was she going to run away like a coward. All those innocent people lost their lives because of this beast. She knew she had to do something before more people were killed. Not only adult human remains were found, but children's too! She just had to kill this monster. She just had to!
She carefully stalked the warehouse district. All was very quiet and it seemed to be even more cold there. Especially in the sixth warehouse she searched. She knew now the lizard guy had to be a demon. Those buggers sucked energy up like laptops and always made the environment like a freezer. It was incredibly dark and there were pretty many crates stacked up throughout the place. It made for great hiding places for a bloodthirsty demon. Jade swallowed hard. She wondered how ill-mannered this one would be. It had been so long since she had dealt with their kind.
Jade stopped for a moment suddenly. She was sure she heard a scraping sound coming towards her. As soon as she stopped, the sound stopped. Then the horrible pungent stench hit her, nearly making her vomit. Hideous demon stink! She almost had forgotten that rancid smell. She knew demons made the smell for several reasons. Usually for annoyance, but this time, Jade was sure that it was for a distraction. The scraping sound started again behind her. She was wise to what this one was trying to do. He was trying ambush her! Growing angry, she whipped around and activated the Dragon Talisman. It torched through everything in its path and blew out the wall. Jade could tell she didn't get him since she saw a figure dart out of the way in time.
Snide laughter was heard a few moments after the flames died down from the Talisman's assault. "Smart one, aren't you?" Jade was surprised. This voice didn't sound so demonic. Well, a little, but not what she expected to hear. After hearing the raspy growling tones of Shendu and his family, she figured they all sounded like that. Although, there was Tso Lan's tone. It was civilized and well-mannered even. She didn't have much time to think it all over since right after he spoke, he grabbed her from behind swiftly. Jade kicked herself free and took a fighting stance close to the moonlight coming in from the hole in the wall.
"Smarter than you think, demon!" she yelled, trying to see through the dark. Where was he? "Show yourself!" she ordered, but her demand only provided amusement for him. "Maybe I will, if you tell me how you got my father's Talisman."
Jade was surprised again. "Your father..? Shendu is your...father?" The demon came into the light and swished his tail. "Don't believe me? Here's some proof!" He breathed fire directly at her, catching Jade off guard. She got singed on her right side. Her arm got the worst of it and it hurt badly. Jade immediately returned fire with the Dragon Talisman. She didn't see him get hit, but she heard his screams. She hurried outside the warehouse and tried to get the cloth off her arm before it got stuck into her flesh. She barely had twenty seconds to do so when the demon attacked her again.
He jumped upon her and knocked her flat on her back. In the full moon, the light was bright enough to see his enraged features. His claws dug deep into her arms as he pinned her down. Uncanny inhuman snarls and growls reverberated off him. "You...dare...hurt...me! How dare you! You, filthy despicable human!" he hissed right in her face. She turned away since great heat came from his mouth. His claws had an icy grip on her arms while his cursing mouth was sweltering her face and neck.
Jade had to escape. Now! She brought her knee up to his groin as hard as she could. Males all had the same weakness surely. Crying in pain, he got off her and she rolled away from him. "How dare I hurt you! Ch! I plan to do more than just hurt you, demon! You're gonna pay dearly for killing all those innocent people and the children too! How dare YOU do such terrible unspeakable things to them! Dropping their body parts like trash all over the city! It all ends here tonight!"
"Oh yeah? That's real funny. What a joke, I'm laughing! Ha ha!" he said sarcastically. "So, tell me, how are you going to stop me, human?" he spat, emphasizing the hatred in the last word. Jade pulled out her laser gun and aimed at his head. "Easy. I'll just blow your ugly green head off." she said simply and pulled the trigger. The gun was damaged from the fire assault she received on the right side and unfortunately it didn't work. The demon laughed at her and he got back onto his clawed feet. He leapt backwards on top of a stack of crates that were piled up outside as well. Jade was stunned by his speed and grace. Plus, how'd he recover so fast? This was not good.
"All that sounds like some real fun, human. I'd love to see you try. You have the unwavering spunk and hatred worthy of a demon! For that, introductions are in order. My name is Drago." He bowed mockingly, overdoing it on purpose. "And you are..?"
Jade was wary of him still. She was starting to see that he had a playful manner and split-second fast mood swings. He was much smaller than Shendu, a lot smaller. Must be a young one. A teenager probably. Oh boy.
Since she said nothing at first, he teased her. "Too scared to tell me? Afraid I'll hunt you down later? That is, if I let you live..." Jade scowled and waved her right hand nonchalantly. "Ch, I have no fear of you knowing my name. You ought to know the name of the one who'll bring you down. I'm Jade Chan."
Drago made a strange eerie demonic snarl grunt of contempt. "Jade Chan?... Yes...yes, I've heard about you... And your uncles. Causing trouble for my father and my demon brethren. Banishing them to the Netherworld... I will not go easy on you, especially on your family. Once I mark you, your whole family line will be cursed now and forever. That'll be the least of the punishments I'll be handing you." he threatened, his sharp fangs glistening in the dim moonlight.
"Ch, your uncles and aunts needed to be banished. Duh." Jade scoffed, holding her right side. Drago gave her a strange look. "I heard about you and Uncle Wu..." he said, opening old wounds in her. Jade bit her lip and shook her head. Hsi Wu pretended to be a real friend to her when she was a kid and she had even a crush on him, but really he wasn't her friend and worst of all, he was a demon. Drago made her remember those painful times and that foolish crush. It embarrassed her to death.
"Yeah, well, whatever you heard from him, or anyone from your scaly freak-family, isn't true! We weren't friends!" she cried, beginning to tremble. That old crush never went away. She wished Hsi Wu wasn't Hsi Wu at all and was Seymour instead. He was really fun to be with and he listened to her when no one else would. Couldn't she find anyone like that who was a human-being? Well, there was Jim, but he was too soft-spoken and slightly weak-minded. Hsi Wu was perfect, except there was one thing majorly wrong with him. He was a demon.
Drago again emitted that demonic dragon snarl grunt. "That's not what I heard..." he said, putting her on edge. Jade felt tears brimming at her eyes. "Oh yeah? What lies did you hear then? Huh? Tell me!" she yelled, becoming hurt more so. She hated to admit that she longed for companionship from a significant other, but she was able to suppress that silly feeling all these years. Unfortunately, now, Drago was unleashing that silenced feeling within her.
"Companionship. That is no lie. You humans by nature crave for it like how we demons lust for pain and suffering of your kind. You can't trick me, Jade. You loved my uncle! Haha-hahaa!" He laughed at her like how a bully would. Jade tried to give her best defiant glare, but it was weak. Drago grinned evilly. "Too bad for you. It was very smart of him to make a fool out of you. He told us that he marked you, cursing you for all eternity, but not your family. That was one mistake of many that he made. He will not have the glory of claiming your soul. I plan to take it for myself and bring great honorable recognition to my father's Fire demon bloodline."
Jade refused to look at the gloating demon. She couldn't let him see that she was becoming emotionally unstable. Just one look would let him know. She knew about the lust demons had for humiliating humans emotionally and how dangerous it was. He would gain strength from her weakness. Her mind would be lost and her soul ripe for devouring. She mustn't give him the advantage, it would spell her death.
"You see, I can't have Uncle Wu get the upperhand at claiming another important soul over my bloodline of Fire. Sky shall not rule over me, ever! It'll be simple to win your soul... One quick twist to your neck should be enough to finish you. And then your soul will be all mine to devour. As well as that delicious body of yours... By the way! You do look pretty hot for a human. I could be persuaded to let you live if don't mind being my personal harlot and slave..."
Jade's ire took over. "No dice, Junior..." she said through clenched teeth. Drago laughed sexily, purposely trying to attract her with mock charm and trying to confuse her emotions as well.
"Oh, come on! Uncle Wu won't mind! It's not like you're his first anyway. But for me, you can have the honor of being my first human slave. Trust me, you'll like it. You'll have anything you want and power too! It's fair enough trade for your body and soul. You humans are so shallow, it's no wonder that we demons have caught so many of your worthless souls."
Jade frowned deeply. "No deal, Scaly. I wouldn't be your slave NOR Hsi Wu's slave OR anyone's slave! And especially NOT anyone's harlot too! Ch, you're sicker than I thought!" she yelled, glaring viciously and trembling with rage. Then she remembered that demons like to make humans as mad as they could to use it against them. She had to turn the tables on him.
Drago turned his green head to the side and winked. "I'm glad you noticed." Jade had seen a docking bay about a block before she got to the warehouses. If she could get Drago there and knock him into the water, she would have a better chance at killing him. She could keep blasting him under the water with the Dragon Talisman and he would be history. It would be easy for her to get him there if she got him to chase her. She had to get him really mad first though. Shouldn't be too hard.
"Yep, I did notice. I also noticed you're nothing like your father. Shendu had edge and he even looked like a dragon. And I mean a powerful one. Not a shrunken shrimp like you! He can blow fire way hotter than yours any day. Plus, he doesn't look like a gecko with zits. Too bad you won't be able to live up to his awesome image. Poor, poor Junior! Such a-" Jade had to dodge since Drago breathed fire at her for her insults.
"I'll tear out your intestines and feed them to you, human! No one insults me like that!" Drago roared like a berserk beast, causing Jade to cover her ears. Did he have to howl that loud?
His snarling sounded like five different sounds rolled into one, freaking Jade out. It was time to run. He was more than mad enough. Drago leapt down from the crates and at lightning speeds, he chased after her.
Jade raced to the docks as fast as she could. She knocked several trash cans over to try and slow him down, but it only slowed her down. He nearly caught her with his razor claws, but she managed to leap over a dumpster bin, which he actually ran into since he was only paying attention to grabbing her. She heard a hard metallic crash and then him yelling and roaring angrily.
A stream of fire almost got her a couple of seconds later, luckily she dodged in time. Almost at the docks, soon she would have him underwater and begging for mercy. At least she hoped so. Suddenly, she realized she was enjoying herself. She was fighting demons again! 'Uncle Jackie was right. I am crazy!' she thought as she ran out on a loading dock bridge to its end.
Drago was only a few feet away. He didn't waste anytime breathing fire at her again. She ducked and went forward enough towards him to swipe her leg at his legs. She didn't knock him down, but she got him off balance and he struggled to regain it. She jumped on her toes and shoved him hard to the side so he would fall in the water.
Somehow he grabbed onto her shoulders, Jade went down in the water with him. He dug his claws deep into her flesh while they were underwater and Jade's reflexes made her scream, but this was bad since water got into her lungs. She kicked at him savagely and was able to tear away from him. She swam for the surface, but of course, he grabbed onto her hurt right leg and yanked her back down. She punched his face with all her strength and kicked more. She feared her hand broke since his face was as hard as steel. She got loose again and finally made it to the surface.
She coughed and gasped for air. Her shoulders were bleeding heavily. This wasn't supposed to happen! This was supposed to happen to him, not her! She was beginning to wish she had told someone where she was going before she left Section 13...
Drago came up then and hissed at her, thoroughly agitated. "I hate the water! I can't incinerate you when I'm waterlogged! You tricked me into coming here! That's it! Soul for Fire or not, I'm going to enjoy tearing and squeezing the life out of you!"
Jade was losing too much blood and was too weak to fight him off. His massive claws wrapped around her neck and immediately began crushing her throat. If she was killed, surely Section 13 would crumble without her. Jim couldn't run the place on his own. Only she knew how to deal with demons, Jim would be eaten alive instantly if Drago got to him. Jackie and Uncle were too old to keep on fighting those beasts. The world would be doomed! She had to act fast. "NO! Stop! I'll be your slave after all! Please!" she begged, not meaning what she said. As much as she hated to, she had to say it to save her life.
Drago snarled viciously and looked like he was struggling to restrain his fury. He slowly released her neck and she coughed like crazy. Suddenly, without warning or a word, his right claw went to her chest and he scratched a long wound on her. Jade cried out in shocking stinging pain and grabbed her chest. Seeing her agony, the demon grinned.
"Hope you enjoyed your new mark, Jade! You're all mine now! Tonight was fun, but I have to dry out before we have any real fun together." Before Jade had a chance to reply, Drago slammed his fist into her stomach. She blacked out immediately.
Next thing she knew, she woke up on the bridge at the loading dock. Was that all a dream? She wished it was. But then the pain made itself known to her, telling her the truth. The right side of her body was burned fairly well, her stomach and fist ached, and her chest wound stung. But her shoulders were patched up and healed...although shoddily. Painfully, she groaned and began to get out of there. She was so glad her cel phone still worked after all that, it was a miracle and she needed one. She called for help, feeling defeated and ashamed. She wasn't able to stop the demon and she knew she was marked by him. Things were getting worse and worse. She didn't want to ask for Jackie and Uncle's help, this was way too personal...
"Drake Raze."
Jade thought his voice sounded kinda familiar, but this couldn't be. This guy was totally new. "Well, I want to welcome you aboard to the way snazzy world of Section 13. Congrats. Also, you don't mind accepting the position of second-in-command, do you?" Drake acted surprised. "But miss, I heard you already have a second-in-command."
Jade waved a hand at him. "Ch, don't worry about that. The old one is taking a permanent leave of absence. I am offering you one of the top jobs here. Not many can jump to the top like you, but you proved to me you're more than worthy. Do you accept my offer?"
Drake bowed respectfully. "I accept. Thank you." He straightened up and flashed her a charming bright grin. Jade thought he was pretty good-looking and attractive. She needed a handsome level-headed Hak-Foo type of fighter around. "Great! Follow me into my office and I'll get you all signed in."
She found Jim there waiting for his new orders, thinking he was still second-in-command. "Hi Jade! Oh, is this the new recruit? Hi there, Mr...-um..."
Jade was hoping to tell Jim later on about this position change. She didn't want to tell him in front of the new guy. It was a bad situation. But she couldn't put it off and confuse poor Jim. No one gets put in the dark in Section 13. She reluctantly told him.
"Uhh, Jimbo? I-er-um, well, you see, with that new dangerous killer out there, I have to relieve you of your position. It's for your own good and safety. I am giving Drake Raze here your job. He passed all his tests and he knows martial arts and magic, and... well you...just don't qualify anymore... Your new position will be in security control. You're much better in security control anyway and the pay is almost the same and-"
Jim held his hand up. "It's ok, Jade. I understand. You have to do what's best for Section 13. I can't complain. I'll clean out my desk and go down to security control now." Jim immediately submitted to the change since that's how he was. He really liked Jade, a lot and enjoyed working side by side with her. They had only been friends all these years and she was his only real friend during those horrible years of school. He had hoped he could make Jade his someday. He tried to work up the nerve to tell her how he felt, but now this job change put him down. He lost the little self-esteem he had.
Drake watched Jim leave with a solemn uncaring face. Jade watched too, saddened by Jim's disheartened behavior. She sighed and began to move Drake into his new office and assigned him his orders to do.
Only one bad thing was that Jim was becoming so depressed that he couldn't do his new job. She didn't know what was wrong with him. She decided to go cheer him up one day another week later since Jim's state was only getting much worse. She went down to his office and the door was open, so she walked in. He was sitting at his desk, staring glassy-eyed at his papers. He noticed her after she touched his shoulder. "Uh? Jade!" he said, appearing to be happy to see her, but then sadness took over. He had seen how close Jade was with Drake and it pretty much crushed him inside.
He ached to have Jade for himself, but as every day went by and every time he saw them together, he knew there'd be no chance for him. Jade laughed at all of Drake's jokes, went out to dinner with him more often than not, and she accepted all his calls during work, even if she was super busy. She always had time for him, but not for Jim. He knew this was true since he had called for assistance many times and she just told him to ask another. Then he found out that she told her secretary to allow all calls from Drake to go through at any time. He knew if he questioned it, she would say this was so because he was the second-in-command.
He couldn't challenge Drake. He had seen how well he could fight and he did do magic well. Jim did study some magic, but he never had any motivation to go further with the little skill he had. There was no way he could fight for Jade. He just wanted to die, but he didn't know the best way to kill himself. Plus, he couldn't let Jade and Section 13 down. He was between a rock and a hard place.
"Hey, there, Jimbo. You've been working too hard. Why don't you take it easy for a couple of weeks, huh? Don't worry, I'll make sure it's a paid vacation. Go take one. You earned it." she said, gently. Jim sighed. "No, no. I'm fine. I can keep on working. I don't need a vacation." he said very gloomily.
Jade knew something was way wrong. "Alright, spill it. What's wrong with you? Why in the world are you so depressed? Is it because you're not second-in-command anymore? I can get you a job just like it if you want me to. Just tell me what'll make you happy again."
Jim knew it was now or never to tell her how he felt. "You, Jade. To have you... That's what will make me happy..." he said, finally admitting his true feelings. Jade was pretty surprised. "Me? You want...me?" she asked. Jim sighed loud and long. "I've always wanted you, Jade. Ever since high school. I just never had enough nerve to tell you straight out like this. But it doesn't matter anymore..."
"Uh, why not?"
"Because you're with Drake. He's much more better than me and you'll be happier with him. I can't fight for you, so just go with him. I can't make you go with me. Oh, why am I even bothering you with all this? You have Section 13 to run and I'm only getting in your way." Jim began grab his things to leave, when Jade stopped him.
"No, Jim! You're not getting in my way at all! I didn't know you liked me that much, sheesh! You should have said something at least. I was thinking about you in the same way too many times..." Jade said, putting much hope back into Jim. His eyes widened. "You have? But what about Drake? I thought you and him were together or something..."
Jade shook her head. "Well, I'm still deciding on that. To tell the truth, I like the both of you. Only time will tell who I'll pick. But give me time, ok? I tell that same stuff to Drake too, so don't worry." Jim had mixed feelings. She liked him, but she also liked the other guy too. If Jim wanted to win Jade, he would have to fight for her. That created a problem since he didn't have much to fight with.
But with Jade telling him that she did actually like him, it gave him the hope and motivation he needed to fight for her. No matter what, he would fight for her now. He suddenly decided he would take that vacation after all to prepare. He would study magic day and night until he was strong enough. He would devote all his free time to improving himself in magic and martial arts to win Jade over. He just hoped Jade wouldn't decide who she liked better before he was ready to challenge Drake.
"Jade, I think I'll take that paid vacation after all. Thanks for everything. You're the greatest." he said, hugging her, which was a bold move for him. Jade made him look at her. "No, you're the greatest. Best friend I'll ever have." she said softly, making him blush. "Thanks, Jade."
"Don't sweat it." She gave him a kiss on the cheek, putting him on Cloud Nine. "Come back whenever you feel like it, but no more than a straight month, ok? I'll miss you otherwise." Jim felt very loved hearing that. Jade checked her watch. "Uh oh, time to check the monitors for any new activity on the enemy. Isn't it cool that there's not much going on from that freaky demon? Well, see ya around. Bye!" She left quickly but not before giving him another hug. Jim was more determined than ever to win her now. She was so beautiful, smart, and sexy. He was so stupid to give up on trying for her. No way he would back down now. She was too good to pass up.
Jade thought she might have trouble finding Drago, since she believed he was in hiding due to Drake's watch. Everytime they went out together to fight the demon, they could never find him. It was like that everytime Drake went with her. She didn't know why that was, other than that the demon was afraid of Drake. No biggie. Soon, he would fear her just the same.
She figured she would go back to the warehouse district at midnight and start looking for him there. This time she had on flame-retardant clothes and protective gear. Clutching the Dragon Talisman, she got out of the cab and scoped out the warehouses carefully.
After searching about for almost two hours, she decided she was just wasting her time. She went to double check the first warehouse again. She slowly peeked inside.
"What are you doing?"
Jade jumped out of her skin and instantly realized who it was. She whirled around and pointed her flashlight at him. "You!" she said angrily. Drago smiled playfully. "What's wrong? Did I scare you? I'm so sorry." he teased, acting peculiarly friendly to her. "I saw you stalking these poor warehouses for so long that I had to inspect your mental health. Are you feeling well?"
Jade growled at him. "Ch! You were watching me all this time! I've been looking for you for hours! Why'd you wait so long to show up? You made me waste my time!" His smirk made her scowl. She started to look through her fanny pack around her waist for the talisman. "Tonight is when I really blow your head off, Drago... D'oh, where is that stupid thing?" she mumbled under her breath. She had some trouble finding that small stone disc. Then she remembered she had put it in her right jacket pocket for fast grabbing. She reached in and discovered a huge hole she never knew of. "Oh no!" she gasped.
Drago held up something. "Looking for this?" he purred, with a big fat grin. He had the Dragon Talisman! How did he get it! Of course. He must have seen when she dropped it and picked it up. But if he had it all this time, why didn't he just blow her away? Didn't make sense.
Jade suddenly remembered that he had marked her long before. The reason why he didn't kill her hit her hard. Jade frowned at him. "Give me that!" she yelled, trying to grab for it. He easily held it out of reach. She had to jump up against him in attempts to get it. With his free arm, he held her against him and immediately began to tease her.
"Aww, I didn't know you cared so much, Jade!" He laughed at her feeble wild struggling to get out of his embrace. "Disgusting beast! I'm trying to get the talisman, that's it! You sicko!" she yelled, frantically pushing away at him. In one lightning quick move, he got a better hold on her.
"Be a good little slave, Jade or else you'll be sorry..." he threatened, emphasizing the last words in a deep gruff vicious tone. "Afterall, what can you do now without the talisman? Hm? Come on, tell me. I'm in the mood..." Jade did NOT like that seductive grin at all. But he was right. She couldn't do much without the talisman.
"Let go of me, you dirty sicko pervert jerk!" she yelled angrily, punching and kicking. "Why should I let you go when we both know we have the hots for each other?" He laughed evilly for at least a minute, which Jade found annoying. "Let's go somewhere cozy and dark so I can rake my claws over that delicious body of yours..." He forced her face close to his. "I taste you... You taste me... All night long..." he purred, lecherously.
Jade was so completely horrified, that she was beyond it. She was afraid too. Deathly afraid. "Y-you wish, Junior!" she spat. As much as she hated to do it, it was the last thing she could try. She bit down hard on the side of his neck, but his dragon scales were tough as concrete. They raised up from her assault and began to cut her mouth. She withdrew quickly, defeated. The teenaged demon laughed wickedly. "Ohh, yeaah! That feels great, Jade! Bite me again! Haha-hahaa!"
Jade spat like crazy. Her angry glare was filled with great bitterness. "Jerk! I was biting you to make you let me go! Now, let me go! I still have to kill you! Erurgh! Errrugh! Lemme go!" Drago ignored her threats and took her into the first warehouse. In one office there was a large desk with nothing on it. He put her on there and melted the door shut with his fire. Once his flames went out, they were in pitch black darkness. Well, almost. Jade could see the hot metal glowing where the knob on the door used to be, but that wasn't enough light.
Jade heard his animalistic breathing and then his snickering, which Jade found most annoying, filled the air. "Let the groping begin!" he announced, playfully. Jade frantically scrambled off that desk and tried to feel her way out. She didn't need to see where he was since she could hear him just fine. Kicking high, she made contact to his face and he cried out in surprise. His angry growling worried her. She'd hate to be torn to shreds in the dark. Unfortunately, the room was so stupidly small that Drago had her in his claws again in no time. Since she was under his mercy once more, he was frisky again.
"Isn't this fun, Jade? I get to stalk you in the dark instead of you stalking me. Too bad for you that you can't see in the dark like I can. Now hold still..." There was loud ripping of clothing being torn open. Then icy cold claws touched her skin hungrily.
With her back against his chest, she could feel him molesting every inch of her body. Hot angry tears fell from her cheeks as she sobbed and he knew. "All mine..." he hissed in a lull frightening hungry tone, dominating her. All Jade's kicking and hitting suddenly seemed immune to him. Eventually, he sat down in the office chair while still fondling her. "Am I hurting you?" he whispered before slipping his long fiery tongue in her ear. Jade couldn't believe he could dare ask that question!
"Of course you're hurting me, demon! Stop it!" she growled, extremely upset. "Mmm, I don't wanna... You feel so nice in my lap that I'm going do this sort of thing to you a lot. Every time I see you, I'm going to molest you. Rape you. Taste you." he purred, grazing the tender flesh on her neck. "You're unbelievably sick! Totally seriously SICK!" she cried.
Drago laughed hard, flashes of fire sparking from his excited breath. "You take everything too seriously, Jade! Ha ha! I was just kidding..." His giggling afterwards made her know he was lying. Jade knew she had to calm down and think of something fast. If she resisted, he would only hold her against her will more. She had to pretend to go along with it until she could escape somehow.
Before she could put an act on, something weird happened. Jade didn't see Drago throw the Dragon Talisman out of the only window in the room and when the glass shattered, he leapt up from the chair suddenly. He dropped her on the floor and he cried out like he was attacked. It was so dark, Jade didn't know what was going on. There was a lot of yelling and things being knocked about the room. She thought she heard Drago shout, "This isn't over!" There was some silence for a few moments. Then she heard Drake's voice.
"Jade! Jade? Jade! Are you alright, Jade? I was scouting this area when I heard you yelling." he said, helping her to her feet. He turned on a flashlight and shone it about. Jade tried to hide herself with the remains of her shredded clothing. "What did that demon do to you! Are you hurt? I swear, I'll kill him for this!" Drake cried, looking angry.
Jade didn't want to look like she was afraid, even though she was shaking like a leaf. She had to be tough! She was his boss! "No way, I have to kill him. For this and everything else... How'd you get him to leave?" she asked, letting him hold her. She felt safe in his arms and she was really grateful to him. He saved her from getting raped.
"I'm not too sure. He just ran off on his own. I guess I'm just too much for him." Drake said proudly. Jade really believed she made the right choice of having him as her second-in-command. As much as she tried to hold back her tears, she couldn't any longer. She buried her face into his chest and sobbed in shaken relief. He stroked her head gently as he held her protectively.
"Shh, it's alright now. I'm here..." he said softly. It took Jade some time to regain her composure. Deep within her, she really trusted Drake. More than ever now. She felt so very fond towards him at this point. No way could she go home by herself. Drago might try to come after her again, if she went home alone.
"Drake, I don't feel safe without you... Could... Could you take me home? I can't go alone... He might come back..." she said quietly. Drake nodded. "I understand. I'll take you home. Let's go."
As soon as they were outside, Drake handed her something small. "I saw Drago drop this." he said. The Dragon Talisman! Jade felt so relieved. "Oh, thank you, Drake! Thank you, so much!" He smiled. "No problem."
As she said that, her head was in the fridge and there was a loud crash. She rushed out to inspect. "What happened? Oh no! My vase! The one Uncle gave me for my birthday!" An antique vase was smashed all over the floor. It was on a shelf on the wall near the kitchen table where Drake was sitting. Uncle had given her that special vase for her birthday and now it was in a thousand pieces.
Drake looked apologetic. "I'm sorry, Jade. I was stretching when my hand accidentally touched it and it fell down. I'll pay for it." he offered, but Jade refused. "No, it's alright. You saved me. What's a silly old vase to a great lifesaver like you? Don't worry about it." she told him. She was so grateful to him that she didn't hold anything against him for knocking over the vase.
She bent down to collect the large pieces first. Drake hurried to help. "Let me. This is my fault." he said, making her put the broken pieces down. "Where do you keep a dust pan?" he asked, looking about. "There's one in the closet. But seriously, you don't have to clean it up. You're a guest." Jade told him, but he insisted. He got the dust pan and in no time, the mess was cleaned up.
Jade smiled at him. He was so responsible and caring. Her heart kept on growing more passionate for him. They had shared of couple of intimate times, although it was mostly hugging or snuggling. Few kisses here and there, but nothing major. Things were so different now, she felt very close to him. She wondered if he felt the same. He must have since he went to save her when he was not feeling well from the food poisonings at work.
She went up to him and made him put the dust pan away. Her intent stares made him curious and confused. "Jade? What is it?" he asked, hoping she didn't realize who he really was. Slowly, she put herself in his arms and placed her hands on his cheeks. A long passionate kiss followed. His response was immediate and pleasing to Jade. He, of course, kissed her back lustfully which she mistakenly took for caring desire.
After several minutes, Jade tried to pull away so she could snuggle and talk with him, but Drake made it hard since he didn't want to stop kissing and touching her hungrily. "Whoa, there! Take a breather, Drake. I was thinking since it's such a clear night, we can relax in my hot tub. We can look at the stars while the water massages us. It'll be fun!" she said, taking him by the hands and dragging him to the porch. He was hesitant. "Water massage? Er, uh, how deep is this water in this hot tub?"
Jade thought it was strange that he appeared to be against the water. "It's not deep, don't worry. It only comes about to my waist when I stand in it."
"I guess we have to sit in it for the water to do its thing, huh?" Drake looked about nervously. Maybe she knew something? Why did she want him in that water so badly? If this was some sort of trick, he would get very vicious fast. Jade playfully punched his shoulder. "Duh! Of course we have to sit in the water. You can't feel those way cool massaging bubbles if you just stand. Plus it's boring to stand. What's the problem, Drake? Are you scared of water?"
He shifted his eyes back and forth nervously. Did she figure anything out? He'd better come up with a believable excuse. "I, uh, well, I can't swim." he lied, watching her carefully to see if she was getting wise to him. He saw nothing that would put him on the alert. "Is that all? Ch, don't you worry! There's not enough to fret about swimming in. The most you could do is wade around in it. Wait here, I'll get it ready and fetch ya some swimming pants." She hurried away.
Drake angrily threw himself on the sofa and clawed the armrests while he waited. He knew if he left, she would be full of questions later and she might figure out the truth who he was and then he would have to chase after her again to get her to submit to him. That seemed nearly impossible to make her do it earlier in his true form, but as helpful as his disguise was, he loathed it.
Jade came back some time later with swimming pants and wearing a very sexy bathing suit. He lustfully took in the sight of her and instantly wanted to bring his hands upon her. She handed him the pants and told him to change into them. "Go into my room and put them on. The water's almost hot enough too. Uncle Jackie never likes the water hot like that since it's always hot outside, but it helps me relax."
Drake seemed to not be listening as he began to strip right in front of her. "Aii-yah! I told you to change in my room, not here!" she cried, blushing as she turned around. He laughed strangely. "Don't turn around, Jade. I'm sure you'll find I'm as pleasing to the eye as you are." Jade blushed harder. "I believe you. Heh heh!" She couldn't help to peek over her shoulder. He nearly was naked, except for his boxers. His grin was too much for her and she stopped looking.
Drake stopped his faked grin and rolled his eyes. Humans and decency! How disgusting...
Well, he might as well get this water tub crap over with. He went towards her porch. "I'm ready now. Let's go." he said, unenthusiastically. Jade hurried to open the door for him. "I'll cure that fear of water for ya, Drake. I'll teach ya how to swim at the beach later on sometime. Watch me. I'll show ya how safe this water is."
She went into the bubbling hot water slowly. "The only 'danger' in here would be the steaming temperature. Once your body gets used to it, it's not so hot anymore. Come on in!" He gave her one last look of protest. She grinned and splashed water at him. He put his arms up protectively. "HEY! Don't do that! You could've put out my fi-" He caught himself and forced out a smile. Jade looked at him like there was something wrong with him. "Put out your what?" she asked, confused.
Angrily he cursed at himself mentally while still faking a smile. "Nothing. You really got me there. Ha ha!" Sulkily, he made himself get into the water, which didn't feel one bit hot to him. He stuffed himself into one corner and had to recline. The water came up to his neck and close to his chin, causing great discomfort. The massaging bubbles did feel actually nice, but they did not ease his worries of the water getting into his mouth or nose.
Since Jade didn't say he had to actually lay back in this accursed contraption, he left that corner and carefully chose the highest point to sit on and the water came below his chest, easing his troubled state. Jade let the water stay up to her chin as she enjoyed the bubble jets. "Oh, look at the stars, Drake! I can see the Big Dipper. And the little one too!" Completely bored, Drake looked up at the sky and saw them.
"Yay." he said, unemotionally. Jade made a face. "Man, you're no fun. You really are afraid of the water. I told you it's safe. There's no way you can drown in it." He smirked at her. She knew so little. "Anyone can drown in even a small amount of water, Jade. This tub has more than enough. And I'm not scared. I just dislike water, that's all."
Jade gave him a look. "Yeah, whatever." she grumbled and closed her eyes. Drake got a plan. There were some decorative stones around the hot tub. Grabbing some, he hurled them some distance away in the bushes and alerted Jade. "Jade! I heard something! It could be Drago!"
Jade's eyes flew open as she jumped out of the hot tub and stood on the edge with her fists up. She had a habit of fighting without thinking first. She thought she heard the noise in the bushes too and was ready to kill. "I'll kick his ugly butt! Bring it on, lizard-lips!" she growled, then remembered what she was wearing. A skimpy bathing suit was not good fighting attire. "Ack! Let's get inside Drake and get the Dragon Talisman! Hurry!" she cried and rushed inside her home.
Happily, Drake followed her in and finally getting away from the water. In no time, Jade had the talisman. "Where is he? Where is that little monster?" she said, prepared to blow up some dragon. Drake assured her that he would take care of everything. "Well, ok, but take the talisman! Shoot first and ask questions later. Kill that ugly gecko! Here." Drake had to bite his tongue to stop him from cursing at her. He went outside and looked for something valuable to destroy and say he was trying to kill Drago with the talisman.
A beautiful antique porcelain bird bath was a good thing to blow up. He held his palm out and a fireball exploded from his hand. The attack promptly made the bird bath history. Jade heard the explosion and thought it was a good thing. "Did you get him?" she yelled from the door. Drake smiled evilly. "Oh, I got me, alright..." he said to himself.
"What?" Jade called, pressing her ear against the door. "Did you get him or not?" Drake went back in the house. "Uh, sorry, he got away. I kinda, um, well, took out a bird bath. Sorry." he said, pretending to be apologetic. Jade growled. "He stood in front of it on purpose I bet! That thing was an antique too! Oh, he's gonna pay! For this and everything else! Grrrr-errugh! What a JERK!"
Drake gave her the talisman back. "Well, I better get going. You probably want to sleep now. I'll be on my way." he said, knowing she would want him to stay since she thought Drago may be lurking outside her home. "Oh, please don't go, Drake! That demon is outside waiting for you to leave so he can get me! Please don't leave me alone!" she cried desperately and went to him. She clung onto his arms, not wanting him to go. Fear swallowed her up quickly. If he left, then that perverted dragon would break in and get her for certain. This is what she believed. Drake smiled mischievously.
"I'll stay and protect you, Jade." he said simply, holding her close. She closed her eyes and welcomed his warm embrace. "Thanks. I...I'm sorry that I'm acting like a wimp. Usually I can take care of myself, it's just...just I'm worried that he'll try and get me again..." she said softly, hoping he didn't think she was a baby. "Don't worry, I'll keep you safe all night." Drake said, grinning to himself. Jade, with her eyes closed, was assured. She went to her bedroom and he followed closely behind...
Drago's heavy rough breathing told her that he was in a deep sleep. What happened to Drake? Why was Drago in his place and in her bed? As she kept staring at him, she became slowly fascinated by how powerful his bare body was. Animal-like, yet he was shaped like a well-toned man. He was really interesting to look at. Smooth shiny olive green scales shimmered in the sunlight as his deadly claws hung still and motionless as he slept. Jade thought he would make a very nice handbag... Though a different color than that yellow-green would be nice. Like blue! Yeah! His chest and stomach were different than his green flesh, they were golden and had a horizontal scale design. More good material to make things out of, like spiffy shoes... She shook her head. What was she thinking? She had a big dilemma to solve here!
Drago stirred in his slumber, grunting and snorting while swiping his claws as he turned on his other side. He curled up into a ball, whipping his tail around before it came to rest over top of his right leg.
Jade knew she could easily blow his head off with the Dragon Talisman now. But she had so many questions. Like what happened to Drake and why was Drago in bed with her? And tons of other things. Her wanting to know the answers outweighed the decision to kill him. Suddenly, a strong dreadful feeling washed over her as she thought of something. Could Drake have been Drago all this time? The way he behaved about the water in the hot tub made that dreadful feeling grow even stronger.
She couldn't believe that it happened again. She was tricked into thinking a demon was her friend. First Hsi Wu and now his nephew? This was just crazy! He tricked her even more than Hsi Wu did. Drago acted so well at being a caring helpful friend that she totally believed all what he did and said. She trusted him with everything and he was making a fool out of her the whole time! He smashed her vase Uncle gave her AND that nice bird bath and she let him get away with it! He pretended to have food poisoning as well and she believed him to be a victim when he was probably the cause of it! She begged him to stay with her and she had slept with him. She allowed him to touch her and she actually enjoyed it too!
Jade felt so betrayed and angry that she could barely stand it. She quietly went to put some clothes on and then hurried to get the Dragon Talisman. But she couldn't find it anywhere. It wasn't where she put it the night before. She had a sinking feeling that Drago was probably hiding it.
Still feeling so angry and in blind rage, she grabbed a long butcher knife from her kitchen and went back to the bedroom. If she couldn't blow him up, she would cut him up and make a handbag out of him for real. She went in stealthily and stood at the side of the bed. He was facing her, still asleep. She raised the knife over his massive chest and stabbed downward. Unfortunately, his armored dragon flesh was too hard to be pierced by the flimsy metal blade and the knife slid.
Afraid for her life, she withdrew quickly. She dropped the knife since it was no use to her and tried to think of what to do. Amazingly, he didn't wake up from her failed attempt to kill him. He only snorted and growled as he turned back on his right side again. Seeing him so comfortable in her bed made her so annoyed that she nearly forgot about her fear.
Since she already had given her body to him, the fear of him getting her in that way was not as great as before. It was replaced by extreme bitter irritation. She wasn't really that afraid of him otherwise. He was just a big annoying nuisance, a real jerk. She would not let him get to her. 'I'll show you, Drago! I'm not going to wimp out over what's happened between us. No way, you're not going to bring me down ever!' she thought as she started to walk over to him to try and suffocate him. She didn't think to get any water first though.
But she tripped on the blanket that she had dropped earlier and she fell hard, crying out. Angrily, she kicked at the blanket as Drago finally woke up. He looked at her and was surprised to see her dressed.
"What are you doing, Jade?" he asked, in Drake's voice, not realizing he wasn't in human costume anymore. Jade narrowed her eyes at him. "Drop the act, Drago!" she growled. He looked at himself and smiled. "Well, it looks like my secret is out." he said, sexily as his tail danced about. "I blame you, Jade. I wasn't able to hold my disguise because I really enjoyed last night in this bed of yours... It's kinda funny how you begged me to stay with you, especially when you dislike me so much. You're such a hypocrite." he teased, grinning.
Jade forced herself to not lose it. She had to stay calm, cool, and collected. He would gain strength from her anguish and she wasn't for benefiting him. "I only asked you to stay was because I didn't know it was you and I trusted you." she said, upset. "If I had known it was you, I would have killed you right away!"
Drago was busy chewing on a pillow. "Oh, you're such a crybaby. I made you feel good last night, didn't I?" he asked, plucking the feather stuffing out with his teeth and making a mess. Jade growled furiously and looked away. He spat out several feathers and threw the pillow at her playfully. The force of his throw sent her falling backwards on her butt.
"Say yes, slave..." he ordered, friskily. Jade glared at him from the floor. "Ch...! You could have been better." she said, knowing that would irritate him. She got to her feet and wished she had the Dragon Talisman. "Oh? Well, there's always room for improvement. We can have another go at it again real soon... Like right now..." he purred, reaching for her.
Jade moved out of range of his claws. "Sicko! You were lucky I didn't know it was you, 'cuz if I did know, I would have castrated your poor excuse for a manhood right off!" she yelled, seeing the knife she brought had somehow been kicked under the bed now. She hoped he wouldn't notice it, since he could easily use it against her.
"You wanted me regardless and you know it." he said, not bothered by her insults. "I did not!" she cried, indignant. Drago layed upon her bed striking a seductive pose on purpose to tease her. "Of course you did. The way you called out for me last night really gave me the idea that you had the hots for me. Just admit it! My dragon charm is just too much for you!"
Jade rushed at him with her fists. She got in a few hits, but they did no good as he grabbed her and threw her on the other side of him. He held her down on the bed, claws to her wrists and knees on her legs as he grinned evilly. "I love it when you get angry like this..." he hissed, lowering his horned head to her chest. Jade scowled angrily as he pulled her buttoned blouse open and washed each of her breasts with his long reptilian tongue. Why did it have to feel so good? She struggled against him, but as usual, it did no good. She was so utterly enraged that she was about to explode. But she couldn't, otherwise he would win.
"Come on, Jade. You seemed to like this when I did it last night. What's your problem?" he asked, nuzzling her firm mounds. "Oh, I dunno." she said sarcastically. "Maybe because I thought you were human and you were really nice to me plus I stupidly trusted you. I cared about you and...I thought you cared about me..."
He pulled away to look at her. "Tsk, tsk. You see? I told you companionship is the downfall of you humans. It totally makes you poor sad excuses for life to really be poor sad excuses for life." He brushed her bangs out of face gently. "Every time I look at you, I keep telling myself that you're not so bad for a human. Pretty even. That's why I'm not tearing your skull off your spine and feasting upon your innards. You're more fun alive then dead."
"So, what are you going to do now if you're not going to kill me? Rape me instead?" she asked, bitterly. He laughed sexily, clearly in a good mood. "Never! I'm what you humans call a lady's man. I've seen so many slaves run away from their masters because they lacked this important, yet disgusting, quality. I so hate to have to chase a slave down. I'll just lose it and kill instead. I have a reputation to build amongst other demons and they won't take me seriously if I just butcher slaves. Anyone can do that. But keeping one for a long time is really something!"
Jade was glad to know he wasn't going to rape her after all. But why did he try to before if he's such a lady's guy? "That's great and all, but why did you try to rape me before at the warehouses? That wasn't very cool." she said, glaring. He shrugged. "Force of demon habit. Besides it made you trust Drake more, like how I planned that you would. I was laughing at you the entire time..." he purred, contented by the sight and scent of her rage.
She writhed angrily under him, wanting to fight him. "I trusted you and you made a fool out of me! I loved Drake deeply and you think it's just a big joke! How could you!" she cried, tears burning in her eyes. She couldn't barely hold them back. He devastated her so.
"I'm still him, Jade. Just accept being my slave and I'll stop poisoning everyone at Section 13." he promised, laying kisses all over her neck. She growled. "I KNEW it was you all along! I just couldn't figure out how you were getting in and doing it all the time!"
Drago drew his face so close to hers that she could feel his sweltering breath. "You let me in everyday as your second-in-command. I had so much fun doing it too... And you paid me for it! Ha ha!" he teased. Jade let her heavy hot tears fall. He was right. She did let him in everyday, but she didn't know Drake was him until now!
"Don't cry, Jade. I get murderous when I see humans cry and whimper. Another demon habit, of course." he told her, licking her tears away. She turned her head away and struggled to regain her composure. He brought his lips to her ear. "If you refuse to be my slave, I'll simply kill everyone at Section 13. And I'll go back to killing and eating humans on the streets, but ten-fold. You don't want that, do you?"
Jade bit her lip and before she had a chance to even think about what he said, he continued. "Only you can save them, Jade. Just one little word will rescue them or destroy them. Yes or no. I'll leave it up to you... It works out for me either way..." he purred, grazing and licking her earlobe. It sent delighted chills throughout her being. Then she felt his tail pleasuring her below. She wasn't able to hold back moans that excited him. "Just say yes and we can go back to tasting each other again..." His tail rubbed harder causing her to moan some more.
Jade knew he was trying to win her over with lust and that she shouldn't give in, but his advances were so strong and wonderful that she found herself crying out yes over and over to him. It probably was how he planned to make her to say yes without her deciding to actually. Getting her fully aroused and undressed, he stopped holding her wrists and legs down. He didn't waste any time making her clothes disappear and then going into her. "This time it's going to be better than last night, Jade. A lot better... You'll see..." he said seductively, thrusting steadily. Jade didn't bother restraining her pleasure any longer. There was no way that was even possible anymore. He cleverly aroused her into consenting once again. She gasped and moaned freely, driving him into more feral lust.
She enjoyed his fondling to her breasts and was surprised how gentle he was. He really knew how to ignite the fire within her. Waves of hot desire flowed down to her hips and soon they came into harmony with his powerful thrusts. In his true form, he was thicker and longer than his human disguise. She had to admit, he was really satisfying. Extremely satisfying...
Eventually, he released joyfully into her once more. She experienced another orgasm and savored the juicy feeling between them. In a low deep tone, he purred, "No human can give you this pleasure like I can, Jade..." He kissed her with mock passion and gave her false loving looks. "Stay with me always and I'll cut back on my human consumption. I'll behave..." he lied, nuzzling.
Jade groaned irritably, her senses returning to her. She wasn't sure, but she thought he might have used magic on her to help make her to accept the intercourse even though she knew who he really was now. "Yeah right. I bet you'll behave!" she scowled, pushing at his hard smooth chest. "Get off me, jerk! You're crushing me. You got what you wanted, so lay off." she said, disgusted with him. Sure, he made her feel good, but he was a demon! She was fairly surprised when he actually obeyed and got off her. Drago grinned at her, appearing to be very contented.
Angrily, she quickly got off the bed and went to the bathroom to wash. No way was she going to go around with demon stink on her. She purposely took a long shower, knowing he wouldn't come after her with the threat of water running. Eventually, she had to come out, dripping wet in a towel. She was sure he would grow bored and leave, but to her dismay and annoyance, he was still there waiting for her.
He was dressed in the clothes he wore when he was Drake and he was sitting at her desk with his feet up on it as he leaned back in her chair. He was reading her diary of all things! The lock was clawed off and broken on the floor. "YOU!" she yelled. He looked at her. "What?" he asked, acting like he was being falsely accused. She rushed over, grabbed the little book. "Give me that! That's my diary!" He didn't let go and they had a tug-of-war until she won.
"Hey, I was reading that!" he complained, pointing a single clawed finger at her. She couldn't believe how impertinent he was! "Hello! This is MY diary! My private life stories! Hello? You know, PRIVATE! Get it?" she scolded, whacking his arm with the book and then going away with it. He got up and easily yanked it from her hand.
"Nothing about humans is private to demons. We're assigned to certain humans and we have to know everything about our enemies so we can hit them hard. But that's not the reason why I'm looking at your pathetic diary. You're my slave and I want to know about your life." Jade scowled. "You could TRY asking ME about my life instead of ripping into my diary, you know." she said, wanting to kick his head off.
Drago smirked. "No way! You humans lie just as well as demons do. There's no better way to find out without any human fabrications than through this little baby." He shook it at her, like he was proving a point. She almost lost it again, but forced herself to calm down. 'Don't let him get the upperhand, don't let him get the upperhand...' she thought to herself over and over.
Jade threw her hands up in the air in disgust. "Errugh! I thought you said you were a lady's guy. This sure isn't what girls like, lizard-butt." Drago snarled and dropped the diary on the floor. Her opposition was beginning to make him lustful for murder. She was more useful to him alive than dead, so he had to be careful. "Alright, alright! There's your stinkin' diary! It was such a yawn that it was so sickening; I nearly puked on it."
She went over to retrieve it. "Thanks a lot... You overgrown gecko..." she muttered and dodged a swipe from his claws. "I heard that! Keep it up, Jade! Keep testing my temper and you'll be dancing in fire!" he hissed, his tail lashing about like an irate cat. As he continued to growl at her, she got her clothes and locked herself in the bathroom. Although a lock wouldn't stop him, the water from the sink and shower would. She got dressed and when she came out, he was gone.
Jade was relieved, but worried. She couldn't trust that he would stop poisoning everyone at Section 13 nor if he would stop killing people on the streets. She didn't care if he said she was his slave, she still was going to kill him, especially before he changed his mind about killing her. She had to destroy him soon. Somehow...
