Pokemon Rogue Quest

((This revolves around the story of Zarrus, in the Rouge Region, a place I made up, where there are 10 badges instead of 8.))

Chapter 1 Sooooooo Many Choices

Zarrus opened his eyes and sat up in bed. His alarm woke him up, when it was 6:00, time to get a Pokemon for a tough quest, for Rouge. Zarrus changed out of his outfit and into a blue t-shirt, a black vest, and some orange cotton jeans. He grabbed his pack, and opened the back pouch. He put in a map, a radio, a cellphone, and laptop. Zarrus raced his 10 year old body into the living room. His mom, Terra Destiny waited. She gave her son a hug, and opened the door for him to get a pokemon.

Zarrus rushed up behind another person, a girl his age. She noticed him and turned around. She blushed and said, "Hi, I'm Jannet." Zarrus nodded and said, "I'm Zarrus. I'm determined to be a great pokemon master." "You too? I am too. I wish you luck," said Jannet as the door opened and a kid came out with a Treeko on his head and the Treeko had the ball.

Jannet stepped inside. Zarrus looked behind him to see a boy a bit shorter. "Hey, you're Zarrus right?" he asked. "Yeah.." said Zarrus. "I'm Zane," he said. "Oh, hi, Zane." Then Jannet came outside. Zarrus walked in. There were 7 Pokeballs left. Then he saw a poster on the wall. It had a Treeko and a Cyndiquill marked off. Zarrus noticed Professor Nuri. Nuri said, "Zarrus, the Pokemon have their name incrypted on the balls." Zarrus reached for a Bulbasaur, then moved over to a Tododile (sp?), then for the Torchic, taking it.

Zarrus walked outside, and headed back home. When he got inside, there were presents scattered. There was one revealing a Pokedex, sent by the Professor. Another contained a 5 Pokeball Pack, from his mom. Another from his dad, which held a Great Ball, 2 Potions, and Ether and a Super Potion. Zarrus noticed one by the wall, but it had no name. He opened it up, and it had a letter inside. "Go to the park at 8:00." Zarrus went to his room and got a watch. It read 7:45. Zarrus put his Pokeballs in the ball pocket. He put the Torchic, named Blaze, in the side pocket. He went out the door again.

Zarrus stepped into the park, seeing Jannet. "Jannet, did you send me the letter?" Jannet nodded. "I was wanting to have a battle, I've been battling a few Pidgey." Zarrus looked down, "No thanks, I don't even know what Blaze LOOKS like." Jannet looked at her pokemon, a Cyndiquill. She sighed. Zarrus noticed Zane coming towards him. Jannet and Zarrus looked to Zane. "Zarrus! Wanna battle me? I haven't seen or used mine either." Zarrus shrugged and pulled out the ball.

Apparently, Zane got a Chikorita. Blaze came out. It looked like a little orange chick. "Uhh... Scratch attack?" Blaze clawed the ground and then ran in at Chikorita, scratching it. "Chikorita, Tackle!" ((I don't know attacks too good)) Blaze managed to jump right over Chikorita, which got hurt. Chikorita collapsed after the hard dive. Chikorita looked seriously hurt. There was a rock under it. Zarrus picked up Chikorita. Jannet pulled out some blanket, and wrapped it around the Chikorita. She kept his head out for air. Chikorita still looked hurt, but not as bad.

They rushed Chikorita to the Pokemon Center.
