Author’s Note: Hi there everyone! So great to be here again, back with another chappie of ‘Never Stop Loving You!’ (Finally, after what, 6 months?) Before we proceed to the third , in chapter 2, we learnt that Starfire was due to perform in Jump City on Saturday, but now we’re going to go over to Robin now, to check out what’s happening with him!

“C’mon Robin, you seem really down today, why can’t you be more…well alive,” moaned Speedy, as they walked down town. Robin snorted. “Thanks for your concern, but I’m fine,” he retorted. Speedy groaned. “Look, I’m your best friend and I’m kinda worried bout you. Why don’t you get a companion, buddy? Maybe a little romance oughta clear your head,” he replied. Speedy received an icy glare in response. “I don’t need anyone, so shut your mouth.”

Speedy scowled, then grinned. “Told ya letting Starfire go was a big mistake, didn’t I? Three years I’ve been singing the same tune, and you’ve still haven’t even bothered to trace her.” Robin turned on him furiously. “Haven’t I told you NEVER to mention Starfire’s name again?” he hissed angrily. Speedy cowered under his fierce glare. “Fine, I get the message.”

They continued walking past the shops in silence. As they passed by the ‘Jump City Hip Hop Hall’ music shop, Speedy stopped beside a poster. “Dude, check this out.” “What?” asked Robin, also stopping. He pointed to the poster. “It’s that hot new pop chick, Starfire Sparkler. I love her songs, they’re so cool! Hey, it says that she’s performing in Jump City on Saturday! Man, I gotta get tickets now!” He was raring to run to the ticket office when Robin stopped him. “Speedy, there’s something about this Starfire Sparkler…” “Huh?” said Speedy. Robin scrutinized the poster. “She well…kinda reminds me of someone…someone from the past…” he said slowly.

Soon Speedy too was examining her face. Finally after 10 minutes, it hit him. The name, the red hair, the green eyes, of course! “Starfire,” he said softly. “Wwwhhaaattt?” said Robin. “Starfire, it’s her.” Robin looked scandalized. “No way…” he whispered. “It can’t be…” But it no doubt was Starfire. She still had the same lovely ruby-red hair, emerald green eyes, and cheerful smile. Only thing was the more sophisticated air around her now. Robin stared and stared. She was so…gorgeous and hot now. Even more than before, a total guy’s dream…No Robin! Stop that, it’s over already. Or is it…

Speedy noticed Robin’s dazed expression. He grinned again. “Golden opportunity, Lady Luck is knocking on our door! We gotta buy tickets, and you’re coming with me. This is my one big chance to get you guys together!” Before Robin had a chance to protest, Speedy was living up to his name and running full speed ahead to the ticket office, with a protesting Robin behind him.

Author’s Note: Ahah! Robin finds out that the hot pop princess Starfire Sparkler is actually Starfire! Well, in the next chappie, it’ll be about what happened during Starfire’s concert, (drum roll) when they finally meet again!
