Bo lay in his bed in his and Luke's room looking out the window as the rain started to come pouring down. The sky was dark and grey and big puffy black clouds sat low in the sky. Never moving or parting for the rain to make its way through to the earth below. It was raining hard and the wind was blowing just as hard as they both beat off the house and the white pick-up by the barn.

He watched as the rain bounced off the window sill and as it slid down the glass window. He sighed, feeling just as bored, crappy and bleak as the day. He didn't know why rainy and dark, bleak days made you feel the same but it did and he didn't like it.

Most times when it rained he didn't notice because he would be having too much fun with Luke and the General Lee driving fast or jumping something to get away from Rosco.

But it was just his luck, he wasn't out today, he was stuck in bed sick with the flu and a sprained ankle. Luke was busy helping Uncle Jesse fix something around the house before he was going to fix the General, which sat in the barn. Daisy was at the Boar's Nest, she had just left for work, leaving the three guys at home. But he was stuck alone in his room watching the rain come down.

He had been out yesterday helping Luke fix a hole on the top of the porch that had needed done for a few days. He hadn't been feeling too good and had blurry vision. When he was getting down he missed a few steps on the ladder and fell, twisting his ankle.

The sharp pain going through his foot and from his light headedness making him pass out. Luke knew Bo hadn't been feeling good but he didn't think that Bo would fall off the ladder. Luke had brought Bo to there room and put him to bed and then told Uncle Jesse what happened.

Who then told him to go back and finish the hole and then he went and got something to help Bo's fever and his ankle. After Uncle Jesse gave Bo the things to help him he left the room after making sure he was ok and going to finish what he had been doing before.

Bo had woken up sometime later, feeling just as bad and seeing a bowl of soup beside him and a glass of water too. Seeing the soup he knew that Daisy was now home, as she was the only one who could make this kind of soup.

He just looked at the bowl and felt his stomach start rolling he looked away and closed his eyes. He knew he wouldn't be able to eat anything right now so he opened his eyes and took hold of the cup.

Taking a drink of the cold water and putting it back he look out the window, it was dark and he could see Luke walking by, most likely to the Barn. He rolled over away from the window and closed his eyes, falling back to sleep.

When he woke up again he could tell it was the next day because there was a bit of sun light breaking through the small part in the clouds. He could also hear Daisy telling Luke to heat the soup for Bo to see if he could manage to eat some of it today. After he heard her walk out and get in her car and drive off he heard Uncle Jesse telling Luke to help him with some things around that needed fixed.

So now as Bo lay in his bed watching the bit of light fading from the sky and the dark clouds take over, he could see the rain star to come down harder then before. He sighed and reached under his bed, finding the book he had left under it.

He picked it up and found the page that he had stopped reading on. It was raining, he was sick and stuck in bed with a swollen ankle and he had a book, so he didn't need to just sit and be board watching the rain come down.

So as he read his book and listened to the rain out side he forgot about being in bed, being sick and having the sprained ankle. As he read and listened to the rain he soon fell asleep again with the book in his hand laying over his chest.
