There's something here I can't quite grasp

So many questions I yearn to ask

Is this truly what they believe

For what they're saying simply cannot be

Is there no common sense left here

Do they truly believe their end is near

And in ghosts and goblins in their town

While the Headless Horseman is simply waiting around

For his next victim to fall under his blade

And have his head clopped away

As the Hessian completes his day

By taking the victim's head back to his grave

Have they not read the books I have read

To know a headless man can't strike you dead
