Another day spent dreaming

With fishing pole in hand.

The creek babbling past me

As I lay in the banks soft sand.

And Herc is with me too,

Dreaming as I dream,

Of rescuing fair damsels

From the villains evil schemes.

Someday we'll be heroes

It doesn't matter how or when

We'll always be back to back;

Brothers till the very end.

My dad says I can't do it

That I won't be big and strong

But Herc says it doesn't matter;

My heart will carry me along.

I trust my new friend Herc

Because he's not like the rest

He's honest, and he doesn't care

That I am not the best.

So together we'll be heroes

And we'll travel all of Greece

Saving innocents and strangers

From hairy monster's feasts.

Yeah, Herc! You and me forever

That's how it's meant to be.

We'll show the bullies and my Dad

We'll be heroes, just wait and see!
