I'm Writing This With My Left Hand

I'm writing this
with my
left hand,
thinking
about
the state of my
right;

chained to the
mountain,
incidentally;

and if anyone
but me
should ever
chance
to read this,

I hope
he shall not
thereafter
have cause
to pity
what became
of the
rest of
me.
