Hey, it’s Kit-chan here! I’ve decided to test my luck with a FMA fic. But luckily, Ed is MUCH nicer about this. He knows that it’s EdxOC fic, but all he says is that I better check with him if he’s too OOC. Thanx Edo! Oh yea… I do not own Full Metal Alchemist; it belongs to the fantastic Hiromu Arakawa. And this might be a bit off from the series, because I’ve only seen up to episode 21. And this takes place a bit before Hughes dies. ……You know what? Screw it. This is gonna take place in my own timeline, after the Marcoh thing, but before the Hughes thing. Sorry if it upsets any of you reviewers, but this is a fanfiction after all. But I will do my best to keep everyone in character.

Prologue: A New Lead

“Ugh…it cant be much further can it, Al?” Edward Elric complained. His younger brother, Alphonse shrugged.

“The bartender told us that once we reach the end of this forest, it will be a half-hours time to Senac.” He replied, his armor clanking with every step he took.

“I mean, the only decent thing I’ve been able to eat is bread, along with the berries and roots we find. I’m STARVING!” the older brother whined.

“Brother, look!” Al pointed ahead. The trees ended a few yards up and a small field was visible.

“Finally! Only a half-hours time to the town!” Ed exclaimed. “I can almost smell the food cooking! C’mon, Al!” he began racing to the edge of the forest, his brother not far behind.

“Ed, wait up! Oh…here’s our new lead to the Philosopher’s stone.” He sighed.

Well? How was it? Good? Fantastic? Okay? Completely horrible? Well, this is only the prologue so you can’t say too much about it yet…Chapter 1 coming up! Also, don’t be surprised if this story gets heavily revised okay?
