Evil comes, Heroes rise

the battles never end

darkness tries to claim the prize.

Legends told, songs sung

all fly throughout the land

telling of war 'til evil's done.

Child comes, people look

tells a tale of heroes

tells of loss and pain and hurt.

Child speaks, many hear

tells them his own tale

tales of might weakness and fear.

Speaker leaves, people weep

knowing the dept owed

the truth of all heroes seen.
