Authors Note: This idea came from reading far too many Veela!Draco/Veela!Harry stories. This is my own spin on things, if you do not like it, screw you. Flames are not liked and not accepted. Years upon years ago there was this young group, or family, called Veela’s. Now each of these Veela’s had pale complexion and white blonde hair and some color of pale eyes, from a green to a gray. But not all looked like a Veela because not all were. You see, there were different types of Veela. Veela that had mixed with other magical creatures to form one. There were Vampire Veela’s and Werewolf Veela’s but the Veela’s that were the oddest of all were the Elfin Veela’s.

Now each type of Veela had their own kingdom of sorts and the Elfin Kingdom was the smallest and the most naturally strict. While most types of Veela were able to choose their own mates, Elfin Veela were not. It was in their Elfin blood that did not allow this choice of matter. Elves had always allowed the fates to choose who they married or mated with to produce children.

Since Wizards do not know much about Elfin Veela they are commonly referred to as Ebony Veela given their dark looks. Every single Elfin Veela has darker looks than normal or Ivory Veela. They have either dark red, brown or black hair with intensely bright eyes in every color imaginable.

Yet there is something very different about Elfin Veela. Instead of being born into families with the same race of humans in them, Elfin Veela are born at random, almost like Muggleborn children. No one knows when and where Elfin Veela are going to pop up yet, there is always an exception from this rule. There is a single family that has, for too many years to count, always had an Elfin Veela child, no matter what. This family is the Royal Family of the Elfin Empire. Recently, the current King and Queen were murdered by a Wizard and their only son was left, not known about by the Elfin Veela Wise.

There are a few things about Elfin Veela that everyone must understand:

1. Elfin Veela are NOTHING like normal Elves.

2. They are unnaturally beautiful with their dark complexions, hair and eyes

3. They are very protective of their young and mates

4. If rejected by a mate (yes this CAN happen) the Elfin Veela will die slowly and painfully

5. Each member of the Royal Family has a single advisor of the Elfin Veela race that is considered to be their best friend

6. Elfin Veela can mate with humans, wizards, other veelas or any human based magical creatures including Vampires and Werewolves.

7. They come into their ‘powers’ anytime between the day of their 17th birthday and the day before their 18th.

8. Elfin Veela’s age the exact same way as normal human/wizards do

9. When a Royal, you must marry by your 20th birthday

10. Royal Advisors are considered Royalty

And lastly,

11. Elfin Veela, like normal Elves, have incredibly long life expectancy then normal humans. If they were to mate with a human or wizard the human or wizard will gain this expectancy to be able to life a long life with their mate.
