Is Pink a Colour?

I was, like, looking at one of my fashion magazines when I, like, found this awesome black and white purse. It was, like, only one hundred dollars and it was so cool!

Anyway, I was looking at this purse, which, like I said, was totally awesome, when I thought of something. Yeah, yeah, I know, Karen Smith thinking; what is the world coming to? Anyway, I thought of something; they'd said in art class that week that black and white aren't colours, so I wondered 'is pink a colour?'

You know I was, like, totally confused. I mean, I wasn't going to ask Gretchen – she'd have had no more idea than I had – and Regina would, like, tell me that I was just stupid (not that she's wrong; I know I'm stupid, Regina's just more honest to me about it than most people.)

And so I got up and looked at all my clothes, most of which are pink. And then I got the answer; pink isn't a colour, it's just, like, a fashion statement. You see, when a girl wears pink, like me, Karen and Regina, it shows she's way up in the social pecking order.

Yeah, and it's not just coincidence that all the celebs are, like, wearing pink this season. Wow, I guess I'm not that dumb after all.

So is pink a colour? It's more than a colour; it's a fashion statement. See I answered my own question! But still, is pink actually a colour? Ouch, I'm confused; oh well, I guess I can always ask Gretchen; she'll know… I think.
