He glanced up at the clock. 1:30. "Time for lunch," Munch said as he slipped off of his chair.

Olivia looked at him with a slightly rebuking expression. "You don't even know if you're hungry unless you look at the clock. You do the same thing, day after day. You're in a rut! Where's the spontaneity? Where's the unexpected? Where's the excitement?"

Munch stood silently and took this in. After she had finished her little tirade, he heaved a deep sigh, looking defeated.

"You're right."

"See, I told - "

He pressed his lips to hers, silencing her except for a muffled, "Hmph!" He leant her back for a moment before setting her upright again.

"Spontaneous enough for you?" he asked, whisking out of the squad room without another word and leaving an astonished Olivia rubbing her lips dazedly.
