Try, Try Again

He was a good man, and a good police officer. He followed the law to the letter, and wouldn't put up with any crime, or accept a bribe.

One thing pissed him off: small time criminals. For the most part, the large crimes were in the big cities; if anything like that was local, it was too serious to be mad about.

There was one man in particular, that came through from time to time. Perhaps not strictly a criminal, but he was breaking the sword law!

'One of these days, I'll get you, you law-breaking red-haired swordsman.'
