Hello! Back with one of my latest stories. This is actually, one of the few stories that I have that I think would be perfect to actually fit an episode.

Please R&R and see a sneak peek for chapter two at the bottom of the chapter!

Chapter One

Dash’s Project

“This is Dash Baxter, quarterback of the Casper high football team, star of the basketball team, and third time champion of the Raven wrestling squad,” he said, spinning the camera around to get every angle.

Dash Baxter himself was a tall, muscular boy with blonde hair and indigo eyes. He was just entering his sophomore year at Casper High School and was already living up to his sports star reputation.

“Can we just get on with it?” his partner, Valerie Gray complained, sighing impatiently.

Dash gave her a look and paused the recorder. “This is my project. Therefore, I’ll do as I please.”

“We’re going to be here all night,” Sam Manson grumbled. She rolled her neck around, bored out of her mind. She was a pretty girl with black hair, lilac eyes, and Gothic apparel, but tonight she wasn’t in with her usual group; her two best friend would never care how she dressed.

“If you whine one more time--” Paulina Sanchez warned, shaking her head as she spoke.

“You’ll do what? Shake your pom poms?” Sam challenged. “Oooh…careful, you might break a nail.”

“Let’s just get this stupid project over with please,” Valerie cut in. “I’m freezing my butt off out her.” She rubbed her gloved hands together.

“Why did I get stuck partners with that loser?” Paulina asked. She didn’t bother to lower her voice as it was quite obvious who she was talking about.

“Paulina--” Sam began, her eyes narrowed angrily.

“Because English is absolutely pointless,” Dash said. “It’s easy to speak the language we use everyday.”

“For some of us it is,” Sam muttered, glancing over at both Paulina and Dash. Valerie snorted and tried to make it into a convincing cough. Neither Dash nor Paulina got it, proving Sam’s point.

“Come on. Let’s just record what we need and go home,” Dash said, holding the camera up.

“One strange event in the night. You’re right about one thing Dash. This assignment is completely pointless,” Valerie said, picking falling snow from her black hair.

“It wouldn’t be the first one,” Sam added.

“And the partners suck,” Paulina said. “Why couldn’t Mr. Lancer just let us choose our own?” Everyone personally agreed, but none of them would admit it aloud.

“Not to mention,” Sam said. “We’re walking around in below freezing temperature, it’s almost eleven, and Dash’s biography is the only thing we have on tape.”

Dash either ignored her or hadn’t been listening because he didn’t say anything to defend himself.

The four teens walked along the empty street, all wishing they could be home or somewhere else. Just as long as—

There was suddenly a huge commotion from the street to their left as if there was a fight going on.

“What was that?” Paulina asked, stopping in her tracks. Sam was the only one to notice Valerie grip her bag tighter.

“Let’s go check it out,” Dash suggested. “One strange thing in the night…right?”
“What if it’s some gang?” Paulina said, holding onto her arms protectively.

“Or worse?” Valerie said, an odd tone to her voice.

There was a flash of green light that illuminated the street for a millisecond. Sam’s heart seemed to clamor against her chest hard as she recalled something familiar…

“I say we get something else for tonight,” she said, laughing nervously.

“What are you kidding? There’s nothing around out here if you haven’t noticed,” Dash protested. “Besides, this is my project and I’m going to get whatever that is over there.”

“Excuse you?” Valerie said, her green eyes flashing dangerously. “This is our project, not--”

She stopped as another flash of green shot from the alley. The next thing they knew, two great dragon like ghosts came into view, roaring and blowing fire from their scaly mouths. One dragon was a vivid green and seemed to be tougher than the other blue one, but they were both glowing eerily.

Soon enough, something streaked past them so fast that it was a silver blur. Flashes of green erupted from the figure’s gloved hands.

Sam opened her mouth to warn him but she didn’t know what to say. If she shouted his name, his identity would automatically be obvious. Unless—

“Phan--” she started. Someone clapped a hand to her mouth before she even got to finish.

“Be quiet geek, they’ll hear you,” Dash said, holding up the camera. He pressed play and it began recording again. Sam tried to struggle, but she couldn’t; Dash’s arm muscles were equal to the size of her head. All she could do was hope that nothing would happen.

The figure dodged just as both dragons ran for him and they hit hard themselves instead of him. Even from a distance, his snow-white hair could be seen brightly. He reached behind him with one hand and brought out a small, cylindrical object. With his other hand, green energy blasted from his palms, forcing the two dragon ghosts to remain on the ground.

Then, he pointed the instrument out in front of him, and a vortex of light appeared, catching both dragons inside. They disappeared within seconds and he clamped a lid back onto the object.

“He saves everyone from so much danger,” Paulina whispered dreamily. “He can stop anything.”

“He can’t stop me,” Valerie’s voice said. But it wasn’t Valerie they saw. Instead it was someone covered in a maroon covered jumpsuit. She balanced on a glider which was floating in midair above the ground and in her hands was a heavy weapon. “Cause he’s about to get his butt injured.”

Sam elbowed Dash in a very sensitive spot and he let her go automatically. She rushed over to the red suited girl fast, just as she pulled the trigger back on the gun like weapon.

“Valerie, stop!” she yelled without thinking.

But it was too late. Valerie’s gun emitted a bright spark and a beam of pink energy fired from the opening. It sped through the air—and struck the target.

He cried out in pain as electricity went through his entire body. Dropping to the ground on his knees, there was a flash of light that started near his chest and spread both directions.

Now instead of silvery white hair, green eyes, and a black and silver jumpsuit, the figure transformed into an ordinary teenage boy with baby blue eyes and spikey raven hair.

Valerie dropped her weapon and it clattered to the ground; she didn’t even bother to pick it up. Both Paulina and Dash let out equal gasps of shock in unison. Sam closed her eyes…wishing it didn’t happen. But it had. Dash found his voice first.

“Fenton?”

…………………………………………………………..

Uh oh. Danny’s in trouble now. Especially since Dash got it on tape. So what happens now?

Here’s your sneak peek. The next chapter follows a few minutes back to where Danny first pulled the dragon ghosts into the Fenton Thermos.

Chapter Two: Caught In the Act

Danny yelled as something hit him from behind and pain shocked throughout his entire body. He lost focus and fell to the ground hard, feeling the familiar change as he became human again.

“Dang it,” he said to himself as the pain subsided but he seemed to be smoking. He stood up shakily and picked up the Fenton Thermos off the ground.

Deciding he’d better get back home before his parents freaked out, he turned around to go ghost again and froze.

Four people were watching him.
