Syaoran POV

I woke up to a beautiful summer day. I looked out the window and the sun was shining and the birds were singing in the cheery blossom tree. I turn to look at my beautiful wife sleeping like an angel. She doesn’t sleep much lately I guess it’s not to comfortable sleeping when you are nine months pregnant. This last months has been crazy. The baby is due any day now, and there are a lot of last minutes things to do around here. Sakura has been shopping for baby clothes and toys. She’s been reading all this baby magazine and baby name books. Madison has been making baby clothes and helping out with the decorating of the baby’s room. She helps planed the baby shower. She’s also always taping every moment just incase that Sakura goes into labor. As for me even been running around making sure Sakura is always happy. I run around town getting all the different kinds of food she has a craving for. Sometimes all she can eat is junk food, and other times she can only eat healthy. On some days she can’t even look at food without getting sick. On those days all she can have are crackers and maybe some soup. No matter what, she always keeps a smile on her face.

I got out of bed, to take my shower. I made sure not to make noise I don’t want to wake Sakura. Before I went in the bathroom I took a look at her, even in her dreams she smiled. I’m so lucky to have her in my life. I closed the door softly and turn on the hot water. After my shower I came out of the bathroom to find my sleeping beauty was awake.

“Good morning beautiful” I said.

her face got a bit pink

“Morning!”

“How are you feeling today?” I questioned.

“Just fine thank you, I’m a bit hungry tho” she said.

“Well I’ll make breakfast, what would you like?”

“Hmm...soup and waffles..Please” she said bashfully

“Coming right up!” I replied with a smile on my face.

‘Soup and waffles? Pregnant girls do have weird craving’ I thought as I went down to the kitchen.

Sakura POV

I’m so lucky to have such a wonderful husband. I got out of bed, and it took me about 5 min to get up. It was way easier to get up before when I did not weigh this much. I went to go take a shower then I got dressed and went down stairs. I could smell the soup and waffles form here. I took my time going down the stairs making sure I don’t fall over and roll down. When I got to the kitchen, I saw Syaoran cooking he turned around and smiled at me. I smiled back when I heard the phone ring

RING RING!

“I’ll get it” I said.

“Hello Sakura speaking”

“Hey Sakura!”

“Hey Tomoyo”

“Is it ok if I come over later today? We have to finish decorating the baby’s room and then I though maybe I can show you the new clothes I just finished for the baby.” Tomoyo said.

“Sure! You know what why don’t you come in about an hour that will give us enough time to finish eating breakfast then we can start working”

“That sounds great, I’ll see you in an hour. Bye” said Tomoyo with a happy sound in her voice.

“That was Tomoyo she’s coming over after breakfast”

“Ok! I hope she does not bring her camera” He said jokingly.

Then he put the plates on the table and we started eating

Syaoran POV

As soon as I put the plates on the table she started eating away. I guess she was hungry. I think she ate more then me. I guess you can say that she is taking to heart the expression eating for two. When we were done eating, I cleaned the dishes. Suddenly the door bell rings.

DING DONG

“That must be Tomoyo I’ll get it” she said.

She was right. It was Tomoyo. She have her a big hug.

“Come in Tomoyo, Syaoran’s in the kitchen” I heard her say.

“Hi Tomoyo” I said.

“Hey Syaoran will you be joining us today?” she asked.

“Of course he will be” Sakura said with a big smile on her face and gently took my hand.

We went up stairs. When we got there, we entered the room. It was perfect, just some last details to add. We did not want to know if the baby was a boy or a girl because we wanted it to be a surprise, so the room was painted a light yellow with little light bleu ducks painted on the top of the walls. The blinds were the same color as the ducks and the bottom rim of the walls. There was a crib in the middle of the room. I’m proud to say that I built it myself. There has a mobile hanging from the top of the crib. The crib was surrounded by teddy bears and toys. There was a little library in the corner filled with children books. In those books there was an old one. It used to by my book when I was a little boy. It’s called “the green little cat.” It was a story about a little green cat that no one loved until one day he found a little boy who loved him very much. My dad read it to me every night before going to bed. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to read it to my baby just like my Dad use to do to me. There was a rocking chair beside the library. Sitting on the rocking chair was Sakura’s old teddy bear. The one I gave her before living for China all those years ago. There also is a closet and a changing table. The only thing left to do is to bring in the toy box and to finish putting up the blinds.

“Wow! It looks better then I remember” Tomoyo said with a huge smile on her face.

“Well, Syaoran and I have been working on it a lot lately, we wanted to make sure that every thing is ready for the big day” Sakura informed Tomoyo.

“I’ll go get the toy box, you two girls finish putting up the blinds” I said and walked out the room.

Sakura POV

“All right Tomoyo, let’s get to work!”

“Are you sure you should be doing this? I can put them up by myself you know, I think you should go and sit down” Tomoyo said concernedly.

“Don’t be silly Tomoyo I’m fine, I feel great!” I said with a smile form ear to ear.

“Ok! If you say so.”

I help Tomoyo put up on pair of blinds. After a couple of minutes I started to feel a bit sick. I think Tomoyo was right maybe I should sit down just for a bit.

“Hey Tomoyo, I think I’m just going to sit down for a little while, I hope you don’t mind I suddenly don’t feel to good”.

Li POV

I got the toy box form the car and walk in side the house. I looked at the toy book it was perfect. It was had a yellow bottom and a blue top. It will go well with the rest of the room.

“AHHHH!”

I jumped at the sound of someone screaming.

‘That sounded like Sakura’ I though.

“SAKURA! Sakura are you ok?” I yelled.

I quickly dropped the toy book and ran as fast as I could up stairs.

“Syaoran come quick!” I heard Tomoyo cry out.

I ran into the baby’s room to find Sakura on the floor. She was sitting in what looked like water. Tomoyo was there holding her back for support. This was it, Sakura is going into labor! I’m going to be a father soon.

“Syaoran, you idiot, don’t just stand there looking at us help out we got to get Sakura to the hospital.” Tomoyo screamed.

I quickly snapped out of it and returned to reality. I picked up Sakura. She was a lot heavier then before.

“Madison run down stairs grab the keys on the kitchen table and go start the car. You are going to be driving...” By the time I was done talking she was already gone down stairs.

“This is it Sakura are you ready?”

“Ya” that’s all she could get out

It looked like she was in a lot of pain.

“AHHHH!”

Sakura POV

I MY GOD OH MY GOD! I’ve been preparing for this moment for months and now that it’s here I want it to go way. Just get the baby out and leave me alone.

“AHHHHH!” I screamed.

I’m so happy and yet at the same time sooooo much in pain.

“Just breath Sakura it’s going to be ok” Syaoran told me.

Sure it’s easy for him to say. Just breath...I don’t think he get’s that’s what I’m trying to do.

He rushed me out of the house in his strong arms then put me in the back of the car. Tomoyo ran to the car and drove off to the hospital. Syaoran was sitting beside me rubbing my back. It made me feel better, his worm touch on my back.

“I’m happy you are with me Syaoran” I said softly.

“Me too!” He replied.

“I don’t think I would be able to do this with out you, I love you” I cried out.

“I love you too Sakura, I’ll always be here for you” he said then gave with a kiss on my forehead.

“hey Sakura, we are going to be parents” He said smiling ear to ear.

I smiled back at him. I’m going to be a mommy! I tear of joy rolled down my cheek.

Syaoran POV

I could see how happy she was. She was in so much pain but still keep a smile on her face. Her beautiful emerald eyes were shining her face was glowing she so beautiful.

“We are here” Syaoran called out.

I took Sakura in my arms once again and rushed in the hospital doors.

“Help! We did a doctor” I screamed.

I nurse ran up to me and Sakura.

“what’s wrong?” the nurse said.

‘What’s wrong? What the hell does it look like? She’s going into labor idiot, don’t just stand there do something’ that’s what I wanted to say. Seeing as it would make matters worse I force myself to say...“She going into labor, we need a doctor”

“Ok put her on this stretcher” nurse told me.

“Syaoran, Tomoyo I’m scared don’t leave me” she cried out.

“Don’t worry we are here” Tomoyo said.

“I’m sorry but are you the husband?” the nurse asked.

“Yes I am”

“Are you coming in the emergency room?”

“Yes if I can”

“Ok good I need you to put this on” the nurse said handing me a white suite and a mask

“Make sure to wash your hands before you come in” She said “It’s emergency room number 3, I’ll take...”.

“Sakura, her name is Sakura” I said.

“I’ll take Sakura there she’ll be waiting for you”.

“What about me?’ screamed Tomoyo.

“I’m sorry you will have to wait in the waiting room” the nurse informed her

“Good luck Sakura! You can do this, I’ll be waiting here for you” Tomoyo screamed out.

“Thank you Tomoyo,” Sakura told her.

I saw Tomoyo waving to Sakura. I could see the tears of joy in her eyes. I went to wash my hands and put on the white suit as fast as I could and rushed to emergency room number 3. I didn’t want to miss anything. I entered the room and saw Sakura on the bed in the middle of the room with doctors all around her. She looked so tired

“Are you Syaoran?” The doctor ask me.

“Yes I am” .

“Good she’s been asking for you” The doctor informed me.

“It’s ok Sakura I’m here now”.

She took my hand and squeezed it tight. Her hand was warm. I looked at her face it was white and her cheeks were red. She looked exhausted. Drops of sweat were dripping form her forehead.

Tomoyo POV

It’s been hours since the last time I saw Sakura I hope every thing ok. I’ve called up all of Sakura and Syaoran’s close friend. Mr. Kinomoto and Touya got here hours ago. They were the first one’s I called. Eriol is even here, so is Kero and Julian. Yue is also here but him and Kero can’t come out yet because we are in public and only Sakura and Syaoran’s family know about her being Cardcaptor Mistress. Syaoran’s family is not here yet they are taking the next flight and they wont be here till tomorrow morning. All we’ve been doing is looking at the clock and waiting...waiting for some news.

Syaoran POV

“OK Sakura I’ll have to ask you to push now” The doctor said.

“What the hell do you think I’ve been doing all night!” Sakura screamed. “Stupid doctor.”

“It’s ok Sakura, calm down” I said. I’ve never seen Sakura be mean to anyone

“That’s ok, it’s normal for women going through labor to be mean” the doctor said like he could read my mind.

“Ok now push.” The nurse said

I was holding her hand and her back. She squeezed my really tight this time I though she was going to break it off.

“Sakura you’re kind of hurting my hand” I told her, Sakura just gave me a quick glare.

“I don’t think she cares” I nurse informed me

“Come on Sakura you are doing great all most there.”The doctor said “Only a couple of more pushes”.

“I can’t” She said.

“Come on Sakura! yes, you can!” I encourage her

“Easy for you to say, there’s not a baby the size of a watermelon being pushed through your uterus.” She screamed at the top of her lungs, crushing my hand at the same time. I was shocked and didn’t know what to think.

“It’s normal for a women giving birth to act out different emotions.” The doctor said

“Hey Doc, shove it and deliver my baby!” Sakura screamed, the doctor didn’t seem mad but just gave a small smirk.

“Ow! You’re really hurting my hand this time Sakura.”

“Oh I’m sorry honey do you want me to go get you ice?” She said sarcastically

“That’s also normal, you’re lucky she’s not screaming that she hates you.” The doctor added

I felt a bit relive that Sakura wasn’t really mad at me. Now I know never piss her off.

“Ok Sakura it’s almost finish.” One of the nurses informed Sakura

“You are doing great honey” I said holding her.

“That’s it, I can see a head” called out the doctor.

This is it the moment we’ve been waiting for. I can’t believe it’s here. I’m going to be a dad. Me, I’m going to be a daddy.

“PUSH!” The doctor cried

“THAT’S WHAT I’M DOING...AHHHH” Sakura gave a final scream, then the room was quiet. Suddenly there was a baby crying.

“Congratulation! It’s a boy!”

It’s a boy. My baby boy.

Sakura POV

I saw the doctor handing me a beautiful little baby boy. I started to cry of joy. I was a mom. I’m the happiest person alive. He was covered in blood but I did not care. We then doctor gave him to me he stop crying and fell asleep in my arms. I could not stop smiling. Syaoran sat beside me. He look at me and kissed me on the forehead. This was to perfect I tough I was dreaming. I had the two most important people with me right now.

Syaoran POV

I saw Sakura looking at are little baby boy. She was so happy. I’m sitting beside her. My heart is full of joy I think it’s going to burst.

“Hi, I’m your mommy!” she said.

Sakura looked at me with those wonderful emerald eyes. I can get lost in those pools of emerald forever. They were full of love and joy. They sparkled, I could see tears in her eyes. She is so beautiful like an perfect angel. God was smiling down upon me today.

“Would you like to hold him, Syaoran?” She asked me.

I nodded.

“And this is your daddy” she said giving me our baby.

“I’m your dad” I said crying a bit I couldn’t hold in my joy any longer I was crying more then Sakura.

I was scared that he was going to fall in pieces in my arms. So small but so perfect. He started to move his little chubby arm. I went to take his hand when he grabbed my finger with his whole little hand. It was so soft. He squeezed it as tight as he could.

“I love you” I whispered.

When I said this he open he’s eyes for a couple of seconds. He’s eyes were emerald just like his mothers. At this I could feel a smile growing on my face. After he feel asleep in my arms. I don’t know but it looked like he had a small smile on he’s face.

“Syaoran” Sakura called out.

“Yes”.

“What are we going to call him?” She asked.

I thought for a second at all the names we looked over.

“What about Aiden?” I said.

“Aiden” She though about it for a bit then looked at me and smiled.

“Aiden is a beautiful name” she continued.

Oh I forgot about very one else they must be worried sick about now.

“Sakura, please take Aiden I have to go tell every one” I said.

“That’s right she said” Taking Aiden in her arms.

It feels really strange calling him Aiden. It’s like I’ve been calling him Aiden forever.

I looked back at them.

“Don’t go anywhere!” I said to Sakura.

“We wont”.

“I love you so much!”.

“I love you too with all my heart” She told me and with that I went off to find the others.

Tomoyo POV

As I looked around the waiting room everyone feel asleep, everyone but me. I could not go to sleep I was to excited and to worried. I just wanted to know what was going on. Suddenly I heard footsteps coming closer to me. I looked up and I saw Syaoran with a big smile on his face. Sakura is ok then.

“Hey, Syaoran” he said like nothing is going on.

“Don’t you ‘Hey’ me, tell me what’s going on” I said.

“I have a son” He said with a huge smile on his face.

“OH MY GOD! Congratulations I’m so happy for you two” I screamed.

Everyone who was sleeping woke up because of me screaming

“Get up everyone!” I screamed “ Sakura and Syaoran had a little baby boy!”.

Everyone woke up with big smile on there faces

“Congratulations Syaoran” Eriol said.

Congratulations” Fujitaka said.

Then Touya walked up to Li.

‘Oh no this can’t be good’ I though.

Touya looked at Syaoran then he smiled.

“I guess you are not that bad, kid!” he said then hugged Syaoran.

Then everyone went around Syaoran and we had one big group hug.

“Can we see Sakura and...hmm” I started.

“Aiden, he’s name is Aiden and yes you may see them now” Syaoran said.

Sakura POV

I heard the door open. I looked up and there was Syaoran smiling at me and behind him was all my Friends and Family. Everyone I love are here.

“I like you to meet Aiden” I said.

All the girl in the room went awww

“He looks just like you Syaoran” Tomoyo said.

Then bright lights came out of no were. It was Kero and Yue transforming in there original form.

“Congratulation Sakura” Kero said.

“Thank you Kero”

“That baby is very lucky to have two great parents, you are going to be a wonderful mother Sakura” Yue said.

“Thank you Yue” I said.

“Your baby, I can feel that he will grow up to be very powerful” Yue said.

“Yes he’s right he’s aura is already very strong for a newborn” Kero said.

“He’s going to be just like his mother” Yue whispered to me with a smile which is very strange because Yue never smiles.

“Thank you Kero and Yue I’m sure that you two will be there to protect him like you did me” I said.

“Of course we will” Kero told me

“I’m sorry Sakura but I have to leave now, it wont be fair to Julian if I stay. He two wants to see you. Congratulation again Sakura and Syaoran” Yue said the turned back into Julian.

“I too should change back Sakura doctors can walk in here any minute now” Kero said then changed back into a “stuffed animal”.

Syaoran POV

“Syaoran please hold Aiden for a little while” Sakura told me.

“Sure” I said and took Aiden in my arms.

“Do you have an extra blanket I’m a bit cold” Sakura whispered to me softly.

“Sure honey here’s one” I said.

“Sakura are you ok you look a bit pale” Tomoyo ask Sakura.

Now that I look at her she does not look to good. Her skin is white like a ghost, her emerald eyes are not glowing anymore and for the first time she is not smiling.

“Sakura, are you ok?” I said concerned.

she did not answer.

“SAKURA! Answer me” I screamed. Aiden started crying

Then her eyes closed and she feel unconscious. I felt a cold shiver down my back when her emerald eyes closed. It’s like she shut off her harm loving feeling. I feel like a flower longing for the sun’s harm touch.

“Sakura wake up, please Sakura” I said crying not able to keep the tears in.

“Someone get a doctor” Tomoyo yelled.

Touya ran off to find a doctor then a couple a seconds later a doctor ran in the room. A nurse took little Aiden form my arms.

“I’ll take care off him, but everyone needs to get out of the room” she told us.

I was dragged away by Touya and Eriol.

“It’s going to be ok” Eriol told me.

He also had tears in he’s eyes. I don’t get it’s supposed to be a happy day. It’s not supposed to be like this. Why, why did this have to happened? My poor little angel, God watch over her.

Tomoyo POV

How could this happened? Once again we are waiting in the waiting room. I looked up at Syaoran he looked in so much pain, like his heart was breaking. I could not see much myself threw my watery eyes but I could feel Syaoran’s pain.

It’s been an hour and no news of Sakura. We wait not knowing anything, how she is or what she has. Syaoran looks a bit better, well not really he looks lost like he does not know what to do now. We are all hoping and praying for Sakura.

Syaoran’s POV

“M. Li” I heard someone say.

I look up to see a doctor standing in front of me.

“Yes it’s me” I said.

“It’s Sakura...”

My heart stop, is she ok? I don’t know what I’m going to do if she not.

“Sakura is fine, she lost a lot of blood we stopped the bleeding but she is going to be fine all she needs is some rest.” the doctor continued.

“Thank you” I said so relived I has so happy that she was ok.

“May I see her” I asked.

“You may see her but she’s sleeping and only one of you can go tonight she needs her sleep. Everyone else can see her tomorrow” the doctor told us.

“Do you mind if I go see her” I asked everyone

“Of course not go ahead” Sakura’s Dad told me.

“Thank you” I said and walked away.

I walked in the room trying not to make noise and pulled up a chair close to my sleeping beauty. I’m so happy that you are safe. Then suddenly she open her eyes. I saw her eyes open and her warm loving feeling came back to me like a wave hitting the shore.

“Hello beautiful” I whispered then I hugged her close to me making sure not to let her go because I’m scared of losing her.

“Don’t you every do that again, Don’t you ever scare me like that, ever again” I whispered in her ear while hugging her tight.

“I wont” she replied.

2 years later

Sakura POV

“I’m home!” I scream.

“Hello, Syaoran were are you, I’m back form shopping” I screamed again.

Where are they? I walked in the family room to find my boys sleeping on the couch. Syaoran is sleeping on his back with Aiden sleeping on his tummy. I kissed both of my boys on there forehead.

“This place is a mess” I whispered.

I stared picking up the toys when I heard...

“hey babe” .

I turn around to see Syaoran looking at me with a smile. He got up slowly not to wake up Aiden and walk up the stairs to put Aiden in his room.

I kept on picking up the toys when I felt Syaoran’s strong arms around my waist. I turn around and he gave me a kiss on my nose. Then he pulled me back on the couch. I was sitting on him and I snuggled up against him.

“I’m the luckiest man alive ”He told me.

“Why do you say that” I asked.

“Because I have a beautiful wife and a cute little boy, I have a perfect little family” He said.

“We do have a perfect little family, sigh, but do you know what I wish”.

“No, tell me” He said softly.

“I wish that Aiden would have someone to play with, like a little brother or sister”.

I turn around to see Syaoran with a big grin on his face. He brushed his lips softly against mine.

“Well then let’s get right on it” He said.

around 9 months later

“Congratulation it’s a girl!”
