Hello everyone. Well this is the last chapter so I hope you have enjoyed it. Hope you like my story so far. I got a couple of reviews of people who were like, “I hate that you killed of the character.” I was just like, “Ok!” Anyway, not much to report at the moment. Sorry for the longer update, but it is quicker than last time. WOOHOO!

Anyways, here is chapter 12...

YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Why! Chapter 12

Anzu still could not believe what happened. It was all surreal. Her whole body shook uncontrollably, due to the force of her crying. She looked up when she heard footsteps approach her.

She looked up and saw lavender eyes.

Malik.

“Why...why...di...did you...kill...them? I did...everything you asked... w...without complaint...how could you? You...promised me...you would not...hurt them.” She looked up into his cold, uncaring eyes. The sadness and hurt on her face was enormous.

He looked down at her and almost felt pity for her witnessing the death of her friends. However, it needed to be done. With them around, they would have tried to stop him from having her, especially that damn pharaoh.

I couldn’t let that happen. No one will take her away from me. No one.

He answered her.

“I killed them because they would have gotten in my way. They would have tried to take you away from me. You are mine to do with as I wish. No one will steal you away from me. Besides, I killed them because I could.”

Anzu just looked up at him in complete horror.

How could anyone...be so cruel?

The answer he gave her was not the one she wanted to hear. In fact, she did not care what answer he gave her. Nothing could justify brutally killing her friends like that.

No one deserved a fate like that.

The tears still streamed down her face. She could not help it. She was almost to the point of hysteria over what happened. She felt a pressure on her upper arm.

She glanced to it and realized that Malik had taken a hold of her. Immediately, she began to fight him.

“Let me go you bastard. Don’t you ever touch me again! I hate you! Let me go!” Anzu tried to wrench herself away from his grasp but he was too strong. He pulled her in close to him. Trying to get her to stop her futile resistance.

However, when he pulled her in close, Anzu happened to look past his shoulder and behind him.

Blood. It was everywhere. It surrounded the now lifeless bodies of her friends.

She could see the Millennium Puzzle, it too was covered in the red sticky substance. Yugi still had his eyes open, and she could see that Kaiba was clutching the locket of the picture with him and Mokuba in it.

The scene she was witnessing was enough for her to go limp with exhaustion. She just sobbed. She knew who she was leaning against, but at the moment, she just couldn’t wrench herself away.

She knew she was clutching onto the murdered, but how could one move away when one is paralyzed with sadness over a tremendous loss?

Finally, exhaustion overcame her and she succumbed to the welcoming darkness.

Malik clutched her tight against him. He loved the warmth and feel of her against him. He feel her clutching his shirt, oblivious to the fact that she was taking in the scene behind him.

He heard her sobs quiet down and then stop completely. He knew she fainted due to exhaustion. He picked her up bridal style and began to carry her to the door. However, before he disappeared behind it, he looked back at his faithful Rare Hunters.

“Clean up this mess.”

“Yes sir,” they replied in unison. They all hurried to do their master’s bidding.

Malik stepped through the door. As he did so, he noticed that the door seemed to be bashed in.

“She must have broken down the door.” He quietly mumbled to herself. So, that is how she got in. Interesting.

He continued down the hallway. When he reached the end of the corridor, a couple of guards open up the wide, double doors to his enormous bedroom. When he walked past he ordered them to leave their posts.

Without a word, they quietly left their current position and walked down the corridor and out of sight. They shut the door for him, however, before they left.

He carried Anzu over to his bed and gently laid her down. He gazed down at her, he could see glistening tears roll done her face. He took his hand and wiped them away.

She is so beautiful, and she is mine!

He crawled into the bed with her and wrapped an arm around her waist possessively. He pulled her up against him and closed his eyes.

His last coherent thought before he too went to sleep was...

I could get used to this.

Anzu slowly opened her eyes. For a moment, she felt disoriented but the memories of what happened the other day came flooding back to her. She didn’t want to remember the place where her friends were killed, but she knew that that situation would haunt her for years to come.

It was then she realized that someone was holding her around the waist. With dread, and knowing for a fact who it was, she turned her head and looked around.

Lavender eyes met her blue ones. She froze. She hated those eyes. She was afraid of those eyes. Those eyes would continue to haunt her for eternity.

She turned away.

One silent tear spilled down her face.

She was trapped by his possessiveness and his obsessiveness.

He claimed her as his.

In that, he was not wrong for she could not escape him, nor would he give her the opportunity to escape him.

She was truly in his grasp.

Five Years Later...

Anzu walked down the corridor towards the throne room. Malik had requested her presence for lunch. She always hated that room, for what happened there five years ago. It had been a rough five years, however, Malik managed to accomplish what he always wanted. He was pharoah. He was the new pharoah of the entire world.

However, her thoughts were interrupted when a brown haired little boy wrap himself around her.

“Mama...I have something to show you. I can spell chocolate.” She smiled down at her son. It was the only positive thing Malik had ever given her, even if he did it by force.

“Oh you can, can you?” Her son just smiled up at her.

“Spell it for me then?” She watched as her son began to spell the word, it took him awhile, but he got it right. When he finished, she bent down and kissed the boy’s forehead.

“Good job sweetie.”

“I showed dad too and he said he was proud of me.” Anzu gave her son a smile and watched as he skipped to the dinning room that was connected to the throne room. She sat down at her seat and watched as her son sat down at his.

A voice interrupted her thoughts.

“So, I guess Tenshan showed you that he could spell chocolate.” Anzu looked up at him and said, “Yes, he did.” She looked at her son and smiled at him.

She then looked at Malik. Those eyes still haunting her.

He smirked. He always emphasized the word, their son. He knew what kind of memories it brought up with her, of that night. She shivered a bit.

It’s not like it’s gotten much better.

He gave her a smile, and she gave one back, knowing that if she gave him some type of emotion other than hate, that he would go easier on her.

However, she was trapped in his embrace. She could not leave, because she loved her son, but at times she just wanted to escape him.

However, he had her captured with his possessive obsession.

YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
