Arena employs a very unconventional method of getting close to Foaly. complete randomness.

It was 8:13 AM. The mail had been dropped off to their department three minutes eariler. In two minutes Foaly would burst into her office and begin rifling through the expanse of filing cabinets housed against her wall and in the closet. She had to time this perfectly if it was going to work.

The second hand returned to the 12 and she stood up. She grabbed her lighter off her desk, ;eaving her booth at 8:14:03.

Foaly was already opening mail when she came in. Today he didn't start off with his usual, "how did you get in? I changed the passcodes?" choosing to ignore her presence instead.

Arena walked over to the edge of the room and picked up a spare chair that was still there from when an intern had been using it. She dragged it over to the centre of the room and stood on it. Now she had Foaly's attention.
"What are you doing?" he raised an eyebrow.
"I recieved a memo about checking the sprinklers in the department." she replied casually. She took out her lighter and flipped it open. Foaly's eyes bugged. There were about 20 machines in the room that were turned on and would fry if she turned on the sprinklers. She slowly raised her lighter to the small steel mechanism on the ceiling.

"No!" Foaly barked, jumping at her. He grabbed her around the waist and tackled her off the chair before she could set off the sprinklers. The chair tipped to the side and skidded across the room leaving them in a heap on the floor. Exactly as the clock hit 8:15, Arena rolled over, kissed her boss and then got off the floor.
"If that Neutrino requisition ended up in your mail fax it to me, will you?" she said casually. She left the booth without waiting for confirmation. She didn’t really need it since it would be forwarded to her anyway.

The confused look on Foaly's face as she walked away made the whole thing that much more worthwhile.
