This was supposedto be a one-shot prequel type thingy to another story I'm writing but everyone has to have TyKa loving, don't they? (sighs) Fine. Earthquake is now on hold until I finish this chapter. No more after this! Vodka will be completed, got it? I don't care how much you beg. (hmph)

Warning: Slight lemon.

Vodka and Coke

Kai was sitting on the edge of the beydish, watching Dranzer spin in the centre. His grandfather had left him… everything?

Damn, it was a lot too. How would he tell everybody? Maybe he wouldn't… no. He didn't want to seem like he was bragging. Just… keep it to yourself.

The door opened and Kai looked up at his favourite bishonen. "What's up, Kai?" Tyson asked. "You seem preoccupied."

"Nothing," Kai said too quickly.

"Come on Kai, you may be the best blader in the world but you're a crap liar."

Kai blinked. "But I'm not the best blader. You are."

Tyson waved his hand around. "Stop inflating my ego," he said as he jumped up and settled next to Kai. "I wouldn't have got anywhere if it wasn't for you."

Kai sighed. "I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you," he said.

"Huh?" Tyson blinked dumbly.

Kai snorted. "For all you're the World Champion, you're still dense. Remember this?" Kai reached out quickly and grabbed Tyson's hand, just like all those years ago at the ice lake.

Tyson smiled slightly. "I suppose. I did what I had to."

"You didn't have to. I betrayed you…" Kai trailed off.

"Everyone makes mistakes, Kai." Tyson shifted closer. "Remember this?" he asked, sitting up so he knelt next to Kai, putting a hand on his shoulder and a hand on his knee. Kai smiled.

"After Zeo took Dranzer. I remember. And as I recall a couple of years ago I was like this…" Kai fell forward into Tyson's arms and laughed. Tyson laughed too.

"Alright. Maybe I was there a couple of times."

"Crucial times," said Kai, sitting up again. He grabbed Tyson's hand again and looked into the stormy eyes. "Tyson, there's something I need to tell you before I go back to Russia…"

"Hey guys!" Kai jerked away from Tyson as Max skipped in and bounced around the room. Tyson looked at Kai, slightly worried. Kai looked… different just then. Tyson just realised that Kai had just let down all of his defences for him… damn Max and Rei and their timing!

Tyson's eyes met Kai's as Rei attempted to control his boyfriend. "Later," Tyson mouthed. Kai nodded nervously, slowly pushing his icy walls back up for training.

Bryan raised an eyebrow as he looked up from the newspaper. Tala was attempting to tidy the living room. It wasn't dirty, it just had stuff everywhere.

"What's this?" Tala flicked open the oblong black box. "Oh. Kai's glasses."

Bryan blinked. "Kai wears glasses?"

Tala sighed. "For someone who thinks he's so sharp, you sure are stupid. Kai's worn glasses since that big battle with Tyson. Apparently he whacked the side of his head – a squint they call it or something."

Bryan held his hand out and he looked at the glasses. They were very smart, with black rims all around except for the bottom of the lenses. Experimenting he put them on, blinked once and pulled them off again. "It's like looking through a flipping bubble," he said.

Tala snorted. "Well it would to someone with perfect 20/20 vision like yours."

"Hey, falcons are pretty screwed without their eyes."

"Whatever."

Bryan raised his eyebrow again. "You're starting to sound like Kai. One's bad enough."

Tala scowled and shuddered. "Gods forbid…" He sighed and looked around the now tidy living room. "What do you think?"

Bryan put down the newspaper and stood up, wrapping his arms around Tala's waist from behind and putting his chin on his shoulder. "I think…" he said darkly, "I'm taking Tala to the bedroom."

Tala moaned and leant backwards into Bryan's embrace. The falcon lifted Tala into a bridal like lift and carried him to his room, laying his redhead onto the bed.

Tala wriggled impatiently. "Hurry up, Bryan," he moaned. Bryan put a finger to his lips.

"Patience." Bryan skimmed his hands down Tala's sides and up again, reaching across to flick open Tala's shirt. He pulled it aside and gently massaged his captain's chest, his fingers fluttering across already taut nipples. Bryan yelped suddenly as strong arms grabbed his shirt and forced him down, Tala furiously attacking his mouth with his lips. Bryan moaned and sat backwards, pulling Tala into his lap so the redhead straddled him. He tugged away the open shirt and tossed it aside. They broke the kiss temporarily as Tala pulled away Bryan's t-shirt, but their mouths instantly latched back together after the pause. Bryan let his tongue plunder Tala's mouth while his crushed them together, his hands splayed over Tala's pale back. The skin of their sweating upper bodies glided over each other and Bryan couldn't help but moan as Tala rocked his trouser clad hips causing delightful friction between them both.

Thankfully there was no one in the house – or nearby for that matter – to hear the dual moans and cries of passionate loving.

Tyson waved to Max and Rei as they went hand in hand to their hotel room. Tyson shut the door gently and turned to Kai. The Russian was facing the wall, one hand on his hip, the other hand clenching and unclenching as he stared at his open palm then his fist. Tyson cleared his throat and swallowed.

"You're going back to Russia?" He had a feeling he wouldn't like the answer. Kai's hand froze as it was open. He let his arm flop to his side and turned to face the bluenette.

"It depends… if there's anything worth me staying for." Kai looked to the floor and felt rather than heard Tyson walk up to him. A hand lifted his chin and he was forced to look into the deep blue pools even thought he tried not to.

"Worth staying for? Aren't I… aren't your friends enough?"

Kai swallowed and felt his defences waver. Tyson let his hand drop but Kai couldn't tear himself away from looking into those blue eyes.

"Kai…" Tyson said, sighing. "Drop the walls, Kai. I've seen it already today; I know you can do it."

Kai let his eyes slide close and his face contracted in inner turmoil. His knees gave way and the usually stoic captain sank to the floor and buried his face in his hands.

Tyson quickly knelt beside him and gripped Kai's shoulder. "Kai, please tell me what's wrong!" he pleaded. He rested his forehead against Kai's bowed head of hair. "I don't know what to do, I've never seen you like this."

Kai gripped Tyson's upper arms and forced his head up, silent tears falling down his face. "I don't want to leave you," he said, almost whispering. "But I can't stay here and just be friends! I need more than that!"

Tyson gasped and his eyes widened. Kai couldn't mean…

The Russian wrapped his arms desperately around Tyson's waist and buried his face in the bluenette's chest. "I need you, Tyson! Not anyone else… just you. If you'll have me I'll stay… if not I'll go. Just tell me… that's all I need to know to make my decision."

Kai suddenly felt arms around his shoulders and waist. He looked up through blurry eyes. "Ty…son?"

The World Champion smiled down at Kai and tilted his head. "If I'm all you want for you to stay…" Kai gasped, Tyson's breath fanning his cheek. "Then I think I can manage that."

Kai let his eyes slide shut as warm lips pressed against his own. He leant in some more, creating more pressure and smiled inwardly at Tyson's moan. A tongue flicked over Kai's lip, asking a silent question for entrance. Kai complied, parting his lips and groaning as Tyson flicked his tongue lightly around his moist cavern. Kai tentatively pushed his tongue up to meet Tyson's and they engaged and a small tongue war before Tyson finally broke away, needing air. Kai soon realised he needed air too. He leant back against the platform of the beydish and let out a long breath. "Guess I'm staying then," he said, smirking.

Tyson grinned. "I should bloody hope so," he said leaning forward. He gave Kai a long passionate kiss, involving clashing tongues and roaming hands. Tyson gently pulled away, sliding his tongue down Kai's cheek. He tugged Kai's scarf away and licked the pale neck. At Kai's gasp he smirked and latched onto the fair skin and sucked, alternating between tongue and teeth. Kai tossed his head back and moaned, white sparks flying across his vision.

Suddenly Tyson stopped and Kai made a noise of protest.

"Not here, Kai. I don't think…" He looked nervously around the training room. Kai sighed.

"Good point. But we can't go back to my place – Tala and Bryan are there, and granted they'll be making as much noise as we would…" Kai flushed and Tyson blinked.

"What? Tala and Bryan?" Tyson laughed. "No way! Since when?"

"Since last night… we got a little drunk while Spencer was out."

"A little?"

"Alright, a lot. I had a stonking headache this morning but somehow Tala and Bryan were still going." Kai rolled his eyes and Tyson laughed.

"Okay, so your place is out, my place is out because Grandpa's there…" Tyson huffed. "Damnit!"

"Hotel room?" Kai suggested. Tyson grinned and tugged Kai insistently out of the training room.

Kai locked the door behind them and tried to get a good look around the room but was distracted by a probably over-eager Tyson. The younger bluenette kissed Kai fiercely, hand fisted in his scarf as he dragged him backwards towards the bed. Kai let Tyson direct their movements – he actually didn't feel uncomfortable as being the submissive one… but only with Tyson.

Kai was pushed backwards onto the bed and he bounced slightly on the mattress. Tyson grinned as he straddled his new-found boyfriend and bent to kiss Kai almost too gently. Kai's scarf was tossed aside and his jacket soon followed. Tyson had reached for the hem of Kai's shirt but was stopped by Kai's hands. He looked at Kai quizzically. Kai smirked and tugged Tyson's jacket off and threw the yellow top on the floor. His hands skimmed over the bare golden skin, his fingers tracing scars on his chest.

"Where did these come from?" he asked, frowning at the almost parallel scars down Tyson's torso. Tyson grabbed his wandering hands and squeezed.

"Zeus. That battle with Brooklyn, remember? No doubt…" Tyson moved like lightening and stripped Kai of his shirt. "You have them too," he said, running his fingers down similar scars on Kai's chest, pausing to tease his nipples. Kai gasped and arched his back. "Tyson…" he moaned.

Tyson smiled and bent down to kiss Kai. He pulled away slowly and pressed his chest against his lover's.

"Hush, love. We've got all the time in the world."

Kai sighed and let his eyes flutter shut. "Say that again…"

"What? Love?" Kai nodded, his smile small but very happy. Tyson smiled.

"You've waited too long to hear this Kai… I love you." Kai's eyes snapped open and he felt emotion form tears in his eyes. "I love you, Kai," Tyson repeated, wiping Kai's tears with his thumb.

Kai smiled. "I love you too, Tyson."

Tyson smiled. "I know. Now enough talking… I want to show you how much I love you know."

Kai smirked. "Go ahead. I'm all yours."

Tyson blinked. "What? No fight? Not that I'm complaining but…"

"Shut up Tyson and kiss me already."

Tyson laughed. "Well you're still giving the orders," he said as he obeyed.

Kai snuggled into the warmth next to him and opened bleary eyes. This he could get used to when he woke up.

His head was pillowed in Tyson's chest, moving with the steadily rise and fall of his boyfriend's breathing. Their legs were tangled together in the sheets and his legs felt suspiciously sticky – not that it mattered.

Kai looked upwards at Tyson. His breathing was soft and gentle and his long blue hair was spread out behind him, the bangs flicking in his face. It was really long and silkier than Kai imagined. He reached up to brush some of the gorgeous locks out of his lover's face and smiled as Tyson stirred. Stormy blue eyes flickered open and looked down, a smile forming on the dragon's lips. "Hey," he said, his voice slightly husky and dark from sleep. Kai smiled.

"Time to get up, lover," the older blader said, shifting a leg over Tyson's leg and straddling him. "I need a shower before I go back to the house."

"Same. What's the time?"

Kai looked at the clock on the wall. "Half six. Come on, up you get."

"Get off me first."

"Hn."

"Kai, you're reverting."

"I thought you loved me?"

"I do love you, I'm only saying."

"Whatever."

Tyson shook his head, smiling as he went into the en suite bathrooms. After they both showered (which took quite some effort as they tried to keep their hands off each other) Kai checked out and the two lovers walked hand in hand into the city.

"What do you think the Blitzkrieg Boys will say?" Tyson asked.

Kai smiled. "No doubt Tala and Bryan have a bet going. I… told them last night I liked you. Rather they guessed I like you. Anyway, the chances are Tala will have bet that I will tell you, Bryan thinks I won't." Kai shrugged. "They won't have a problem with it."

"Max and Rei won't have a problem with it. Hiro on the other hand…" Tyson looked slightly apprehensive. Kai smiled and hip checked Tyson playfully as they turned down his street.

"It'll be fine. No doubt your brother will try to kill me but I've dealt with worse."

"Gee, Kai, thanks. Trust you to make me feel better."

They stopped at the bottom of the Blitzkrieg Boys house drive and Kai smiled, pulling Tyson closer. "Let's give Tala something to get excited about. He'll be watching from the window."

Tyson grinned. "You mean something like this…?" he asked, leaning closer. He pulled Kai into a fierce kiss and fisted his hands in Kai's hair. Kai moaned and ran his hands down Tyson's back, splaying a hand across his behind. He smirked against Tyson's lips as a shout of triumph issued from the doorway.

"Finally!" shouted Tala, bowling the two lovers over. Tyson laughed as Kai scowled in annoyance.

"Tala! What would you do if I disturbed you and Bryan?"

"Probably kill you… but that's not the point. Bryan!"

"What?" came the muffled answer from the house.

"Someone owes me fifty!"

Bryan grinned evilly. "Yen or ruble?"

Kai smirked. "Neither are worth much."

"Dollars, chicken neck!" Tala said angrily. Bryan's eyes narrowed.

"Someone's sleeping in their own room tonight." Tala's eyes widened and he looked at Bryan pleadingly.

"I didn't mean it," he whined. Kai kicked him.

"You big baby," he said.

Tala scowled. "Very funny."

Tyson laughed and stood up, offering one of his hands to each of the Russians. "Come on. I'll stay for a coffee then I'll get going.

Kai looked reasonably upset. "Do you have to?" he said, rubbing circles on his upper arm.

"Now who's the baby," Tala muttered. Kai scowled.

"Don't argue, you guys," Bryan said. "Inside. Now."

"Yes sir," Kai and Tala mocked together. Tyson laughed as Bryan glared.

For now they were happy. But, as a wise pessimist once said, all good things must come to and end.

Muha! Bet you want to know what happens in the sequel, huh? Well… if you do then you must review! Ooh! Poet and I didn't know it! Hope you liked my alcohol based fanfic!
