The Light and the Darkness

Black and White; Day and Night; Love and Hatred; Dark and Light: nothing can exist without it's opposite. It's the same wherever you go.

Even with the senshi, the supposed defenders and protectors of the light, there is a dark and a light.

The Moon is the light, just as it always has been. The Moon will provide light in even the darkest of times, and it will show that the sun would always rise again, no matter how dark it got.

Saturn is the darkness, just as it has been since the fall of Atlantis when the Sol System was plunged into darkness and the Dark Ruler of Saturn was sent into a deep, coma-like sleep. The Dark Queen sleeps for the majority of time, and yet she will rise, and when she does it signifies that time shall stop and Silence will rule.

How is it possible for Light and Darkness to work together in harmony? It is very possible; nothing can exist without an opposite, and it's very possible for opposites to be confused, like love and hate.

Saturn and the Moon are the Darkness and the Light, and yet they do not hate each other, as many would suppose. No, the darkness and the light are in love, however each one's love will never be realised by the other. And so they will go around, always loving, never telling, their love not so much unrequited as unrealised. They will never truly face each other or their feelings, and so they sing a song of a life of loneliness while all the while they have the potential for a symphony of happiness to rise from the silence and sing the truth. And yet they continue on in sorrow, for they are the light and the darkness, and love between an angel and a demon can never be.
