Chapter 3 : Finally asleep and goodbye
"You know Bakura, James could-" Malik said with a yawn as he looked at the spot James had disappeared.
"Right now, I don't really give a fuck about him..." Bakura muttered as a reply, not really bothered what James could possibly do to make this night even worse.
It took about five minutes before the cute blonde-haired boy returned to the living room. Once again still having his orange tiger Tigger with him. The, probably once black stripes on his body were now almost darkgrey. His tail had probably already fallen off once because it looked like it was made on the other part of the stuffled tiger again. "Can you make me some food?"
Quickly the white-haired tombrobber turned around, glaring at the six-year old kid. "What did I just asked you? You wouldn't say a word, nor you would ask for anything!"
James just shrugged and turned around. He was already halfway on his way back when he stopped again. "I hope you don't mind me doing it myself then." He said, and continued his way back towards the kitchen.
Bakura let out a sigh and let himself relax against Malik again. "Finally got rid of him. Again."
"Bakura?"
"Hmm?"
"You do realize you still got all your knifes and daggers in the kitchen, right?"
"So?"
"James... knifes... bringing him back alive..." Malik said, remembering Bakura that they had to deliver James in one whole part again, still alive and not being send towards the Shadow Realm.
"And you come with this now?" Bakura said, sighing deeply before he stalked towards the kitchen. In a few moments he was back, shoving James out of the kitchen. He still had one of Bakura's knifes in his hands.
"You stay here." Then noticed the knife and grabbed it. "And you'd better give me that back." Then he disappeared again, finally putting away the knifes and daggers he should have put away way earlier. Or that was at least what Ryou had said him to do...
In a few minutes the white-haired thief came back. Malik was still sitting on the couch, looking at the dvd again. He had missed quite a large part, but they had seen it already so many times that he knew what had happened. The little kid sat on the ground, playing happily with his orange stuffled tiger.
Bakura let out a sigh and sat down next to the blonde Egyptian on the couch, curling up slightly.
"Don't you forget something?" Malik said, not looking at Bakura, but with his eyes still fixed on the large TV screen.
"Like what?"
"Giving him his food maybe?" The blonde male replied, using an innocent tone. James opened his mouth to say something about it, but with one look Bakura silenced him.
"Fine..." He let out a loud sigh and stood up, going to make a bit food for the little blonde.
It took Bakura a few minutes to make two slices of bread with jellybutter. He gave the small plate to James, who started to eat it happily.
Malik yawned. "I think I might go to bed. I need to get up tomorrow early."
The white-haired tombrobber nodded and gave Malik a small kiss before the blonde left the room. Now he was all alone with the little guy, who was also trying to feed his tiger a bit bread.
Bakura rolled his eyes and then closed them. He didn't want to look at such stupidness anymore.
"Bakura?"
"Whát?" The white-haired male replied, opening one eye.
"Can I watch this?" James asked, trying to look cute.
"I told you not to ask or say anything anymore." Bakura said, looking down at the little kid in front of him, holding a dvd which was called 'Ice Age 2: The Meltdown'.
"I know... But- pleaaaase?"
"Fine, just- just don't interupt me."
James nodded and went to put the dvd in the dvd-player. Happy because he could finally see his stupid animated movie.
Bakura closed his eye again, yawning widely. It was already getting late, but it wasn't like he could leave the little kid alone here. He would kick him up toward the room he slept in in a few minutes. In the meantime he could just give his eyes a bit rest. Then he would do other things again. Yeah, that was it. That was what he would do.
"What the-"
With one look he knew something was wrong. And it didn't took him long to realize what.
On his stomach laid a cute little kid which was not older then a year or six. His blonde hair was falling in front of his eyes. One thumb was sticked in his mouth, and with his other hand he held his orange stuffled tiger which he called 'Tigger'. His blue pyjama's made him look like a little child even more.
Oh no! Oh freakin' no!
This couldn't be right, right? Bakura wondered, looking down at the sleeping child once more.
Kick him off you! A little voice said in his head. Bakura was about to do so, until he realized something. If he would kick this kid off him, he would be awake. Something which would result in having even more whining about stupid things. Like he had done already all evening, since the moment his mom and Ryou had left his appartment. Well, his... It was actually Malik's but that was besides the point...
Then what other options did he have? Kicking the little child off him was not really an option, or at least one if there was really not a better one.
Letting him asleep. An other little voice in his head said.
NO! That was not an option! He could just not leave the kid- no, that was absurd. Something which would never happen! But then what?
Bakura thought deeper, until he came on the last option. Sending him to the Shadow Realm. Sure, it was an option, but he wasn't sure whether Ryou and his mom would like it. Wait! Since when did he cared what others thought of him? But the again-
Argh... He was really getting frustrated by it! Ra damned kid for doing this all. Ra damned Ryou for bringing him here. Ra damned kid's mom for making him. Ra damned Malik for leaving him alone with this annoying little kid.
But what should I do? Bakura wondered, what should I do? Sending him to the Shadow Realm wouldn't be such a good thing after all. That way he would might even get Malik hate him, he seemed to like the kid a bit. Baka.
And so, that left two other options to choose from. Letting the kid sleep or kicking the kid off him. Both were not an option to Bakura, but what else could he do? If he didn't do anything he would let the kid sleep on him, probably the most embarrasing thing that would ever happen if Ryou or Malik would find out. Well, not only those two, but also all the other people on this whole freakin' Ra-damned world!
After another few minutes of thinking and wondering what was the best, he choose to let the kid sleep and would make sure he would be woken up before either Ryou or Malik would see the two together.
Finally done with another question he looked aside, seeing the movie still hadn't ended.
A small group of animals walked away, when one asked: "Manny, who do you like better, me or Diego?"
Then a mammouth or whatever else it might be, answered: "Diego. No contest." A tiger with large front-teeth sort of smiled at the answer.
Another mammouth, or whatever else it might be, she looked like the other, said: "Manny, you can't pick favorites with your kids!"
Kids? How could those animals be their kids? Bakura thought confused, but he didn't wondered too much about it and looked back at the screen again.
The first mammouth, apparently called Manny, answered, looking kinda annoyed with the answer he got from the female next to him. "He's not my kid. He's not even my dog. If my dog had a kid, and that kid had a pet, that would be Sid."
The strange creature, apparently called Sid, looked at Manny. "Manny, can I have a dog?"
"No." Manny answered.
Then Sid turned towards the female mammouth and asked, "Ellie, can I have a dog?"
"Sure, sweetie." The female Ellie said back.
"Ellie, we have to be consistent with them!" Manny answered.
Then the screen showed how they walked away a bit further, until there came another part. It seemed it had stopped, but apparently it wasn't over yet.
Some kind of a large squirrel walked on yellow-pink-ish clouds. He was walking to some gate, after it were a lot of nuts. He seemed to really like them and went over to get them. A moment later he saw something that made his eyes almost fall out of his head. A huge nut. He wanted to ran over to it, but just before the end, just before he could grasp it, he was pulled backwards.
It took only a few seconds before it showed that he had been gotten back alive again. So apparently he had been dead...
Bakura smiled a tiny bit. He didn't knew why but it seemed to be quite okay. It wasn't like any of those stupid other movies or shows he had seen before. Like from those girlish anime Ryou had wanted to look at sometimes. Of course when he thought Bakura wasn't aware of that... Which wasn't the case of course... Bakura would never dare to spy on his little cute hikari.
The white-haired male gagged. Too much kindness, cuteness and happiness. He wasn't sure who he had managed to get through those years with him. O well, it happened and lately Ryou didn't live with him anymore, so problem solved.
Now he had a new kind of 'hikari'. Malik Ishtar. His so called boyfriend. It wasn't really like a couple, they didn't really went on dates or something like that, but they were together and they did things people would say they would be boyfriends. Normal friends wouldn't do such things with eachother. Bakura smirked at the thought.
Bakura gazed at the TV screen again and saw this time it was really over. He grabbed the remote which laid next to the couch with problems; James almost fell off him by accident, and turned off the DVD-player and then with the other remote which laid next to him, he turned off the TV.
The white-haired ex-tomb robber yawned and closed his eyes again. Hoping he would be up before Malik and Ryou. Otherwise he would be damned for eternity...
"Bakura… Bakura!" Someone said, poking him slightly in the side. He batted the hand away, glaring at whoever dared to tough him.
Malik.
Why was he poking him? Bakura thought to himself, but then reality hit him. He hadn't woken up before Malik. Now he was sitting there with a six-year old boy laying on him.
"Fuck!" He said out loud.
Malik blinked at him. And blinked again. "What 'fuck'?"
"Uhm..." Bakura answered, looking at the first time down and seeing the little kid wasn't laying there anymore. He wasn't there anymore!
Malik looked at him for another moment before shrugging and sitting down next to his white-haired boyfriend. "Seen James?" He asked, curling up.
Bakura shook his head. How could he have seen James when he was asleep? Sometimes Malik really acted stupid...
It took about five minutes before the bell went. Probably Ryou. Bakura thought and stood up, making the blonde almost fall.
He smiled innocently at the blonde and then walked towards the door. He had been right about it. "Hey Ryou, hey uhm..."
"Christine." The woman next to his white-haired look-a-like said. Bakura nodded, almost forgotten the name already and turned around, walking back towards his boyfriend who still was on the couch.
He's still alive? Ryou asked through their mind-link.
Tsssk... You don't even think I can baby-sit a little kid? Bakura replied with a smirk.
Ryou let out a sigh. "Uhm, where's James?" He asked then.
You didn't sent him to the Shadow Realm, did you! Ryou suddenly asked with anger. It had been one of the forbidden things to do.
Of course not! Bakura replied. At least that not. Though I did let him drink tequilla, let him watch movies for sixteen years and older, and... Bakura was about to go on with his list but got bitch-slapped by Ryou.
"Aw! What was that for?"
"You know that as well as I do." Ryou said, looking at his yami with anger in his eyes.
"MOMMY!" A voice suddenly cried out. A moment later a young child ran over towards the woman and hugged her tightly.
"How was it?" Christine asked her little son.
"Great!" James said. Then turned over towards Bakura and Malik, who seemed to have joined the little group sometime between now and when Bakura had opened the door. "Can I come over another time?"
"No." Was both Bakura and Malik's answer.
Ryou glared at his yami and the other hikari, but they didn't look at him.
"Awww... Pleeeeeaaasseeee?" James whined, running over towards Bakura and Malik, hugging both of them too. "Pretty please?"
"Maybe..." Muttered Bakura then.
Ryou smiled happily. "Come, we must get going again."
The three walked towards the door, waving at Bakura and Malik and saying goodbye.
Just before Ryou closed the door Bakura said through their mindlink:
Enjoyed kissing with 'mommy'?
Ryou turned around, shocked and blushed deepred. A shade of red which wasn't really normal. But he didn't said anything. He quickly left, making Bakura laugh out loud.
"What's it?" Malik asked, unsure what was going on.
"I'll explain later..." Bakura answered, grabbing Malik and pushing his lips on the ones of his blonde boyfriend.
The end.
