Author of 5 Stories |
Now this was written way back in about 2000 or 2001, I can’t remember. My first ever Sonic fic, It’s merely based on Dragonball Z; Sonic and Sally’s son appears from the future and defeats Robotnik, thus saving his own future. You should get the idea. Yes, he’s based off Trunks. Even though I’ve rewritten the whole thing, some of the storyline and dialogue is the same.
The characters are merely based on the Archie comics and the Saturday AM series, which I miss greatly. I don’t collect the comics anymore since they’ve gone to complete shit, but I still love the characters such as Sally, Bunnie, Rotor, Antoine, and others. Even though Robotnik is called Eggman in the games, I’ve left his name as it is in the comics and SatAM series in this fiction.

Dr. Robotnik cackled evilly, finally finding a way to foil his enemies, the Freedom Fighters, in capturing them. He finally figured out a way to foil their plans. They have planned to infiltrate his tower at Robotropolis, not knowing that he had put up some extra security. One of his inventions was a large robot, caught them off guard, and before one of them, Sonic, could react and try anything, the robot expelled a gas that knocked all four out into a deep sleep.
"I got the Hedgehog! I got the Hedgehog!" He danced about, celebrating his victory.
Sonic, Sally, Tails, Antoine, and Bunnie were locked up inside of a rather cramped cage. Sally was in a bit of distress, and Antoine was whining up a storm, much to everyone’s annoyance. Bunnie tried everything to comfort Antoine, but nothing helped. Tails sat against the side of the cage, trying to figure out a way to get out. Sonic, the most annoyed, had hurt him trying to get out of the cage. His spines were cut and slightly burnt from the attempted of spin cutting through the bars, but Robotnik this time has used a virtually indestructible metal for the cage and the cage bars that kept them in.
“Bastard,” Sonic muttered under his breath in annoyance, his spines stinging from his injuries.
“Sacre bleu cheese!” Antoine wailed.
Sonic whipped around and snapped, “Shut up Antoine!”
“Sonic easy!” Sally walked over to and put a hand on his shoulder, “We’re just as upset as you are.”
“I know Sal,” Sonic sighed, turning his head away, “I just, have never felt so…”
Sonic never finished his sentence, as Snively just entered into the room. Snively was Robotnik’s nephew, and as worked for him since he was a young teenager. In one arm he was carrying a stack of papers. In his other, in his hand, he was carrying a small rectangular robotic device.
“No,” Sally whispered, “He has Nicole.”
“The robotisizer is ready, sire.” Snively droned in boredom, setting the papers down onto a nearby table. He looked up, noticing his uncle’s dancing. “Sire?”
Robotnik realizing Snively stopped dancing and cleared his throat. “Excellent, Snively. Get the Freedom Fighters ready, then.”
“Yes, sire” Snively replied. He walked over to a machine next to the cage where Sonic and the others were in. The cage was sitting on an escalating belt, and when Snively pressed the button on the machine, the belt moved the cage, which a slight jolt, inside of the robotisizer itself.
“Excellent, excellent.” Robotnik twiddled his fingers in excitement. “Activate the robotisizer!”
“Yes, sire.” Snively replied. He began to enter some controls into the machine.
Antoine whined even louder. Sonic started attacking the side of the cage again.
“Yes,” Robotnik grinned, “Yes, Mobius is finally mine.”
As Snively was about to press a button, a laser like force struck him in the hand.
“Ouch!”
“Snively!” Robotnik snapped, “What the hell is the matter with you? Press the damn button!”
“Y, yes sire.” Snively, a little bit irritated, reached for the button again.
This time an even larger laser like beam attacked the machine itself. The machine sparked for a bit, and a few seconds later, exploded, with Sonic and the others inside. When the dust cleared, the machine was obviously destroyed, but Sonic and the others were alright. There was a clear force field around them! Snively, closest to the explosion, lay a few feet away, dead.
Robotnik was furious. He looked around where this mysterious power came from. He noticed a shadow appear and jump down from high above, then land onto the floor in front of him, in front of the damaged robotisizing machine.
“Another one.” Robotnik muttered.
“What the, hell.” Sonic said.
The dust fully cleared, and they could all see who the mysterious figure was. He stood, staring at Robotnik. To Sonic’s surprise, the boy was a blue hedgehog himself, but instead had blue eyes and was a bit spikier spined, with spines hanging over his forehead like bangs. His shoes were about the same as Sonic’s, but were more of a dark purplish color. The boy appeared to be about sixteen or seventeen, and he had a sword sitting behind his back. He also had a pouch handing around his waist.
Robotnik eyed the sword. “The sword of Acorn…”
The boy grinned.
Robotnik reached his hand out. “Give me the sword, boy, if it means your good.”
“No.”
“Excuse me?” Robotnik replied angrily.
The boy snickered “You heard me.”
“You are being foolish boy. Give me the sword now!”
“No.”
“Why you insolent brat! You’ll regret that!” Robotnik reached into his pocket, pressing a button that set off some sort of alarm. He sneered, “Let’s see if my swat bots will put you in your place.”
The swat bots soon flooded into the room, surrounding the boy. Despite being surrounded, he stood, unphased.
“Swat bots!” Robotnik screamed, “Destroy him! Then get me the Sword of Acorn!”
As the swat bots ran forward to attack, he reached to pull out the Sword of Acorn behind his pack. In a flash before anyone could see, the boy disappeared, and all the swat bots around his were sliced in half and feel to the floor, destroyed. He appeared again, and stood again at the place he stood at before. He put the sword back into its case.
“You,” Robotnik growled, trying to hide his fear trying to force itself out “How did you…”
“Oh, must you know? All I did was take my sword and cut your bots in two.” The boy stared, grinning. “You sound like you’re scared.”
“What? How dare you!”
“Well come on,” the boy taunted. “Aren’t you going to attack me? Or are you too scared?”
“How dare you play me you runt! Just who do you think you are!”
The boy snickered. “Must you know?”
The boy walked forward towards Robotnik, keeping his cool, much to Robotnik’s annoyance. He looked up, since Robotnik was a bit taller than he was.
“I am the son of the hedgehog,” he whispered. “From the future.”
“From the….” Robotnik started, and then began laughing “From the future! That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard!”
The boy sighed and shook his head. “Suit yourself.”
The boy walked around Robotnik, and hopped onto the damaged robotisizer. Reaching for his sword again, he slashed it against the cage a couple of times, creating a hole large enough for the Freedom Fighters to get out.
“Hey!” Robotnik turned around. “What the hell do you think you’re doing you runt! That metal is the strongest in the world. How the hell did you manage to break it?”
The boy turned his head around “Hey, my sword is a lot more powerful in my time than yours.” He turned back towards the Freedom Fighters. “Listen, you need to get out while you still can. I can take care of this brute on my own.”
Sonic grinned. “Hah! As if! And leave me out on all the fun?”
The boy glared at Sonic. “Listen. You make a difference on whether I exist or not.”
“Wha-“
“Just go!” The boy snapped. “What I’m about to do is something you or the others don’t need to see.”
Sonic stared at the boy for a moment, and then helped the others out of the cage. He looked at the boy again, then escaped with the others. He had everyone grab onto him, then he sped out of the building.
“Now then.” The boy hopped of the damaged machine to confront Robotnik again.
Robotnik sneered “Didn’t want them to see you get killed, eh boy?”
“No,” the boy replied, “I just didn’t want them to see me kill you.”
“Kill me?” Robotnik snickered, “Don’t play with me boy.”
The boy grinned, then did something that brought Robotnik to an ultimate fear. Closing his eyes, a mysterious power took over him. He glowed for a moment, and when the glow decreased, his color has changed. His body changed from blue to a golden yellow, and his eyes changed from a blue to a reddish color. He had gone super.
“No,” Robotnik muttered in fear. “How?”
“Because of my father,” the boy replied. “You should know him.”
“The hedgehog?”
“Yes.”
“But, you didn’t use emeralds...”
“You’re right, but my father’s constant use of the power ringers over the years have absorbed into his blood, and thus have passed them on to me when I was conceived. And as for this” He reached into his pouch and pulled out a power ring. The power ring glowed. “This ring also comes from the future. It was made by the powers of the chaos emeralds, which also enables me to go super. You see, the power rings are much more powerful in the future than they are now.”
Robotnik was in utter fear. “But, why did you.”
“Come back? Too keep you from destroying my future.”
They boy pull back out his sword, and in a flash, before Robotnik could notice, rammed the sword into the middle of Robotnik’s body. The boy embedded his power into the sword, and the sword glowed with the power.
“Now,” The boy stared into Robotnik’s fearful; eyes, “I must kill you, on behalf of my people. On behalf of my future.”
The sword glowed, and covered Robotnik in a bright glow.
“I hate you, you runt!” Robotnik gagged, then exploded. There was no blood, as the power of the Sword of Acorn and the boy disintegrated Robotnik’s body.
The boy returned the sword to its cased, then collapsed to his knees.
“Damn, I used to much.”
His body returned to his normal state, then he passed out.
