Holding out for a hero

Ok this is my first idea for a sailor moon Inuyasha crossie so please be nice, and if something’s wrong please tell me :P um ok this is a little messed up but I’m trying. Now for the disclaimer I don’t own sm or Inuyasha sighs I know it’s horrible!

Usagi sat up in bed with a head ache in the middle of the night. Her head covered in sweat she took in a sharp intake of breath, holding her hand up to her head whipping off the sweat. ‘What was that all about?’ she thought trying to remember exactly what her dream was about. Images flashed in her mind off and on in an unread pace. ‘Uh… what time is it.’ She looked over to her alarm clock and fell back onto her pillow ‘3:15.’ She mentally scorned herself that she shouldn’t have eaten that bowl of ice cream earlier ‘what is it that Ami said about eating late again?’ she paused in mid thought looking down at her feet to where Luna was. She smiled and patted the cat on the head softly before looking out at the full moon outside. As she did a painful pang hit her head and she held her head in her hands tears falling down her cheeks as she choked back a sob. ‘What’s wrong with me?’ Luna who had been sleeping until she had felt Usagi pat her sat up sensing the discomfort with her hime.

“Usagi? What’s wrong?” Luna asked walking over to her and sitting down on her lap. Usagi looked over at Luna with tears clouding her vision.

“L-Luna?” she asked the pain had started to ebb away. The said cat stared up at her with crimson eyes filled with worry.

“Usagi what’s wrong?” Usagi looked down again the pain had finally receded and she was able to see her feline friend clearly.

“Luna, I don’t know I woke up from a weird dream and then looked outside. I got a head ache and I really don’t remember much from my dream.” She said her eyes still watery from the entire thing. Luna nodded in thought and then walked back down to the foot of the bed.

“Usagi talk to Rei in the morning she knows more of dreams then I do.” She said closing her crimson eyes once more to return to the land of sleep. Usagi nodded in agreement and fell back onto her pillow and let sleep take over.

Usagi stood in a garden surrounded with white roses all around. She looked up at the orange red sky of the sun setting. She wore a pink and gold trimmed kimono that was etched with swirls of white flowers. Her long golden hair was free from its normal style and was blowing in the breeze. A golden crescent moon shone on her forehead and smile adorned her face.

“When are you leaving?” a masculine smooth silky voice asked from the shadows of the garden.

“I don’t know it depends on my mother, however it would probably be in the morning knowing how she just recently found out where I have been for the past year.” She said with a smile turning to the direction where the voice had came from. “And I don’t want you to cause trouble either. She already dislikes me being here and I don’t want her already bad impression about you getting worse.” She giggled as she ran up to the figure and was encircled in arms twilling her around. She was set down and walked over hand in hand with the man and sat down on a stone bench. The man put up one finger as to tell her to wait before turning around to a rose bush. Where he held a white rose in-between his fingers before using his other clawed hand to cut it, He turned around with a small smile on his lips. He kneeled down across from her and handed her the white rose.

“Promise me you’ll come back.” She smiled and nodded kneeling down in front of him before throwing herself onto him and breaking into tears.

“I’ll remember, I’ll come back, I promise, I love you.” She muttered into the man white kimono gripping it in her hands.

Usagi awoke to the sound of Luna yelling in her ear.

“USAGI WAKE UP!” the cat screamed for the eighth time tying to wake up said person. Usagi groaned before whacking Luna aside and grumbling something like ‘Stupid cat never shuts up’ then turned to her clock before leaping out of bed.

“Eek! Luna I’m gonna be late! I told Rei that I’d be on time at the shrine for once!” She yelled running franticly around collecting her cloths before slamming the door to the shower shut and the sounds of running water where heard. Luna sighed shaking her head back and forth.

“Usagi what am I going to do with you?”

Usagi ran up the many temple steps out of breath before coming up face to face with none other then Rei.

“Huff Rei huff sorry I’m late huff” she panted out catching her breath looking up at Rei.

“Uh.. Usa-chan your not late, infact you’re early we weren’t going to go shopping for another hour.” She said smiling and sweeping the stone pathway. “So Usa what are you doing here this early anyway?”

Usagi anime fell at hearing that she was early before turning to Luna. A fiery glare sent at the said cat on her shoulder.

“Luna. Would. You. Care. To. Explain. As. To. Why. I. Am. Early.” She said thought gritted teeth seething at the feline for waking her up. Luna jumped off her shoulder and onto the ground near Rei’s feet.

“Err, ah Usagi now there’s nothing wrong with setting your alarm clock early to wake you up to get you to things on time now is there?”

Usagi was about to reply when a certain fire senshi was heard cracking up. Usagi turned her glare to her and stomped her foot.

“What’s sooo funny Rei?”

“Nothing except the fact that I don’t know why we never thought of that before.” She said while laughing out the last part. Usagi was about to attack her friend in a tongue war when a person on the other side of the temple caught her attention.

“Uh Rei, who’s that?” she said pointing to the girl. Rei turned and smiled.

“Oh, that’s Kagome. Her grandfather and mine are friends and they thought it would be a good idea that she came and saw how our shrine is run.” She waved over for Kagome to come over and turned back to Usagi. “Usagi this is Kagome, Kagome this is Usagi.”

Usagi smiled and bowed her head. “It’s a pleasure to meet you; a friend of Rei’s is a friend of mine.” Kagome returned the bow with an equal smile.

“So you’re Usagi? It’s nice to finally meet you. Rei’s been telling me about all of you and your friends while I’ve been here.”

“Really? Rei told you about us huh. Well how long have you been here?”

“Oh around a day or two that’s all.” Kagome looked at Usagi and thought she felt a Shikon shard the only problem was that the power was 100 times magnified, but the power dimmed and died away before she could feel its depths. Kagome smiled and looked down at the cat rubbing against her. “Oh hi there kitty.” She bent down at picked up Luna,

“Is this your cat Usagi?” Usagi nodded and looked at Luna before turning her eyes back to Kagome.

“Yeah, she can be cute when she wants to.” She took Luna from Kagome, as Kagome offered her back. “So Kagome how long are you staying here?”

Kagome shrugged “I don’t another day or two.” Usagi nodded and smacked her head, remembering one of the reasons she had wanted to come here.

“Uh Rei can I talk to you?”

“Sure Usa, Kagome can you take over sweeping for me while I talk to Usa?” Kagome took the out stretched broom and continued with Rei’s work while she and Usagi walked off to a separate part of the shrine.

O0o0o0 With Usagi and Rei o0o00o0o

Rei walked into the small meeting room that they normally used for senshi meeting before turning to Usagi. “So Usa what’s up?”

“Rei, last night I had a dream. It was really weird I was like in a garden and there was a man there. He wasn’t my Mamo-chan either Rei! I hugged him and said that I loved him! Rei that wasn’t even the weird part yet I had the moon sign on my head!” she wined while plopping down onto the couch. Rei looked at her in deep thought.

“Usa do you think it was a memory?”

“I-I don’t know maybe.” She stuttered out her line of thought broken claming her down.

“Well then can you describe him at all?”

“Uh, not really just that he had white silvery hair.” She answered her finger tapping her chin.

“Well why don’t you ask Luna or Setsuna then? If it has to do with the Moon Kingdom possibly, I mean you said you had the moon sign on your forehead right?” Usagi nodded and smiled.

“Thanks Rei.”

“No problem Usa.”

ok it’s short I know, but oh well and I also have another story which is on hold only because I only have 2 reviews on it so I gave it up for now, with school and all I’ll only be able to update this every so often. Oh and if you can guess who it is that she’s paired with coolie if not then you’ll have to wait. Ja ne!
