Oddly enough, the bullet appears to be a .45.

11.4 mm, 265 m/s, virtually no yaw.

The numbers don't comfort Carson.

He's lost 1500 ml or so of blood; he figures he'll be okay up to 2000.

A transfusion won't be a problem. Ford is B, and a few others. His mind's too fuzzy to remember any names.

But there's only three bags of saline left in the infirmary. Five, maybe six doses of morphine. No antibiotics, but that won't matter if they don't get him back to Atlantis soon.

And Sheppard wonders why he hates to go off world…
