A/N: this is just some thoughts that were running through Rikku’s head as the darkness was taking over, all his thoughts about his friends and what was happening.

When I opened my eyes I saw heaven

At the same moment I saw hell

When I opened my eyes I saw red of blood

And the coolest blue, I could never tell

When I opened my eyes I was in love

Still all I could do was hate

When I opened my eyes it was early

Yet some how it seemed far too late

When I opened my eyes my heart broke

Then I fell in love again and again

When I opened my eyes I felt so old

I could have been only ten

When I opened my eyes it was peaceful

As if in the middle of a fight

When I opened my eyes I felt darkness

But I could still see the light

When I opened my eyes I was alive

Deep down I wanted to die

When I opened my yes there was a lie
