Chapter One

Zoid Eve’s Daughter

Rayann sat towards the middle of her zoids forehead as her zoid walked through the desert. Most zoids cannot move with out a human piloting them from the cockpit in the head of the zoid, but Rayann’s zoid is different. Rayann’s Energy Liger has a mind of her own and can think for herself.

Tales of a zoid from back when ancient zoidians lived, but was destroyed by the Death Suarer along with the ancient zoidians. Yet some believe the zoid, Zoid Eve, had a copy of her zoid core (zoid cores give the zoid power, sorts like a battery) existed and escaped the Death Suarer, she is called Zoid Eve’s Daughter. The core is in an unmarked, and unregistered Energy Liger with unspeakable power…

“Where to next Liger?” Rayann asked her zoid.

Liger replied with a growl that meant “I don’t know.”

“Alright next town we come to we can find a motel there.” Said Rayann

It was dark by the time they reached the town, it was fairly far into the Guylos Empire, which was not safe for Rayann because she is from the Helic Republic, and the Republic and Empire are at war. Lucky for Rayann Liger has a way of avoiding Imperial troops and Imperial radars. Liger is a very unique zoid with extra weapons that normally an Energy Liger can’t have. Also the unusual fact that Liger can challenge any amount of zoids in a battle and come out on top with out a scratch. Rayann though, has a hunch that her Liger may just be Zoid Eve’s Daughter.

The next morning Rayann and Liger left early to go deeper in to Imperial territory yet Rayann didn’t know what they would find let alone what they where looking for. Even though without an innocent reason why they where there that made sense if the Imperial caught them Rayann could wind up in jail, then they would find out she was Republican and she would be in worse trouble.

“Just wonderful, right Liger?” said Rayann peering down at an Imperial unit moving toward them. They were on a ledge fairly high above the Imperial army in the valley. “Hopefully the commanding officer is in ‘lala land’ and won’t see us.” Said Rayann.

Liger laughed a roar of “There’s no way he can miss us!”

“Do we run or fight, Liger?” Rayann ask with a sigh.

Liger growled something that meant, “I don’t run!”
