A/N: Well, this is about Leo, obviously. Underneath that strong surface, we all know he's not as strong as he'd like everyone to think. Because, at the end of the day, he is still nothing but a father's son. Please review? And, of course, enjoy.
FATHER, YOU FORGOT

Summary: A son confesses his innermost feelings concerning his father's inevitable departure.
It's quiet, and I'm not even sure you know I'm here
Watching, worrying, mourning a death that has yet to come
Oh, Father, you've always known this day would be
Ever since we first began our training
Pushing us beyond limits that seemed impossible
Teaching us lessons you'd rather not
You thought of it all
Gradually, you transferred the weight onto my shoulders
Molding me into the leader that was destined to protect this family
Oh, Father, you've always known I'd be sitting here
Holding the hand that fed me as little
Memorizing features that chased away my nightmares
You thought of it all
Now, as I hear your breaths grow heavier, further apart
I find myself visited be fears I'd thought dead
Oh, Father, you knew these demons would come
Witnessed them chasing after me
Fought them times when I couldn't
You thought of it all
But one thing, Father, you forgot
For once gone, and our family is safe under my inherited wings
Who will protect me?
