Warning:Slight spoilers for chapter 195

Ichigo was surprised by just how glad he was to see Rukia again, despite the presence of the Idiot Shinigami , the calculating look on her face sent alarm bells ringing in his head. It was Inoue,lacking any such warning system, who asked the petite shinigami was her plans were.

"I am going to...deal with the revolting copycat,"was her reply.

When Inoue guilelessly asked what Rukia meant by that, Rukia revealed her belief that the famous Sanrio mascot called Hello Kitty was nothing but a shameless mimic of Chappy who deserved nothing less than total elimination.

At this Orihime,lover of all cute things that she was, couldn't help but point out that Hello Kitty had been created long before Chappy, therefore such a rip-off of Rukia's beloved rabbit was ,listening in on their conversation, should have known Rukia would completely disregard this fact in her usual display of obstinacy,swiftly ending the discussion but walking away.

Later that evening, Ichigo and Rukia(who had taken up residence in his closet again)were watching the news when he saw an image of Sanrio's corporate headquarters covered in graffiti. The story was almost over, with the anchorman's last comment of "The building was covered in the words 'Death to the mouth-less one' and 'Long live Chappy', an organization called the Chappy Superiority-tai claiming Gamers and San-X fear they may be the next target of this bizarre mascot hating group."

Only in the face of Rukia's sweet-yet bone-chilling smile did Ichigo lose the nerve to accuse her of being the culprit.
