Hiya people! I hope you like this part, I worked pretty hard on it and
the next one will come out quickly because my muse has whapped me on
the head again and out pops a couple chapters. Oh well, the only reason
I cut this one off is to give myself and my pre-readers some time to
edit. C&C welcome, please no flames. Anyways, see ya next time!

Seiya looked at the rising moon with trepidation and fell backwards onto
his bed. [Soft...Like her hands...] Seiya clutched the silky bed sheets
to his body and inhaled, trying to capture an elusive scent that wasn't
there. He once again glanced at the moon and softly sent up a prayer
to the Goddess to keep him strong in the coming months, as he had an
idea of what he was going to happen. A silvery laugh filled the room,
and a smile lit up Seiya's face. She was here! His Angel, Light...Love.
A warm glow filled the room and Usagi materialized at the foot of the
bed.

"Serenity-hime!"

The voice came to him almost like there was a long tunnel between them,
slightly distorted, soft, but still musical. "Yes, my light?" She faced
him, sapphire fire glowing in the bottomless depths of her eyes. She
slid onto the bed like a cat, belly down.

"I...missed you." It came out slowly, almost as if he was afraid to admit
it for fear she would disappear, leaving him with only this glimpse to
tide him through the time till her next visit. His eyebrows crinkled in
as he tried to take in how she looked, tried to keep it all locked in his
mind till the day he would need every moment to keep him alive.

Serenity purred as she fluttered her hands over his pants-clad groin,
settling her hand on the bulge in his pants and massaging lightly. She
looked up into eyes that were smoky with passion, pulling out shades of
gray in them that bled in around the blue. "Ahh...Would I leave you
completely, Seiya? I have only been gone about a week this time. I was
with Minako, trying to reunite my soul." She continued her ministrations,
slipping her hand inside his pants and the satin boxers underneath,
eliciting a groan from her partner.

"I...know my love...*moan* I promise...to *gasp* resurrect you. Oh Megumi-
sama, Neko-onna!" He cried out, using his nickname for the woman who was
leaning over his face, capturing his mouth in a searing kiss that blazed
through his nerve endings, giving him his second release in less than a
minute.

"Good. The only way you can do that is to eliminate the other senshi,
except Minako and Makoto. Both have given safe haven to the piece of myself
that rests in them. When I died, because of the nature of my death, the soul
of my body and the crystal shattered, seeking the places the pieces would
be safest." Serenity caressed his face gently as she explained. Seiya
listened carefully, his part in all this would be explained soon, she only
had to tell him and it would be done.

Seiya made a wordless protest at that memory. Serenity ignored him and as
she continued, she began to fade slightly, her edges blurring with the moon-
streaked darkness of the room. "All you have to remember is to kill them,
Seiya. All of them. For this time...I care not what happens to them. A new
group of senshi shall be reborn, ones from a future so far in time it has no
name." Serenity was almost gone as she bent over him and placed a light
butterfly kiss on his swollen lips. "Ai shiteru, shinai'na." And she was
gone.

Seiya sat up in his bed, absently pulling his hand out of his pants, wiping
it on the sheet along with the blood from the cut on the lip he gave himself.
Seiya blocked all this out of his mind as he looked out the window. The sky
was black and no sliver of moon lit up the sky. But for Seiya, it shone in
its full glory. For Seiya had gone insane long ago, when Usagi had died and
her crystal shattered, the mirror to her soul. When Seiya learned of this, a
part of himself was also freely given to the ebony darkness of space. He
became a creature made of blood and madness, ebony tears and glass. His heart
no longer beat since he kissed her blood stained lips and took part of her
into himself.

He was a creature of her body and blood, carrying a sliver of the crystal
that had become one with her in those last hours. He was now a creature with
a purpose...Kill those he once called friends, look into their eyes and take
Serenity's soul back along with their pain and finally, death. His eyes
darkened and red droplets streaked down his cheeks to fall unnoticed onto his
hands. Hands that only moments before brought him to release. He would do what
his mind commanded, for they were the cause of her death, and any who hurt
her would have to pay.

Minako had her nose crinkled up as she followed the faint whiff of scent she
thought she remembered from Japan. It led her past storefronts advertising
commercialized Christmas get-ups and toys that were overpriced and soon be
in the clearance bin. Snow fell gently to the pavement, partially melting and
refreezing into ice, causing many to stumble. The chill wind thrust into her
jacket again, and she stopped. Minako spun a ring of thought around her body
and thinned it into a small shield. The wind instantly stopped in her circle
of power and she continued forward.

Minako knew she was getting closer as the smell of a warm body full of blood
beat against the inside of her nose as it's mind beat against hers. The
person had stopped as it too had caught her presence. Minako slowed and then
stopped at the entrance of a small apartment building. [No one would dare
mess with me, I am Death herself. I wonder what this mortal wants. Just in
case though...] Minako let her humanity slip off her face, like taking off
an uncomfortable mask. Then she silently opened the door and slipped up the
stairs to the top. When she got to the last step, Minako followed the tracks
on the floor. Her feet lifted up clouds of dust and she had to stifle the urge
to sneeze in the murky air, the dimness only broken by the patches of light
cast from cloudy windows. [Megumi-sama! Who could possibly live here and still
know me?]

When Minako put her hand to the doorknob, it swung inward on well-oiled hinges
and she flitted into the room, using the shadows as cover. With one glance,
she took in everything in the room and the best ways to launch an offensive
and defensive if the situation got out of hand. Worn blue couch facing small
t.v. set, small table and beat up chair shoved into the corner, open door into
a bathroom with water stains and broken mirror, and finally, a closed door
Minako assumed led into the bedroom. The one closed door was suddenly flung
open and a whirlwind of black hair and power. The man almost flew to where
she was hiding and faster then even *she* could see, Minako had a hand wrapped
around her throat and was slammed against the wall.

"Who the hell are you?" Came the snarl.

Tasting the power wrapped around her and effectively smothering her own force,
she grinned. Actually, it was more a baring of teeth than a actual smile, but
the person who was on the receiving end wouldn't care anyway. "Well met...Seiya."

"Minako. Here to join the hunt? I knew She would send someone who also had the
blood lust in them." An almost boyish grin split his face, but his stormy
midnight eyes remained broken, fragments of a morality and mortality that didn't
exist anymore littered the plane of his soul. His eyes, windows to the coffin
of dreams that lay in glittering pieces on the blood-soaked ground.

"What are you hunting?"

"Senshi."
