Another SasuSaku one shot but this one is for Halloween! I don't even know if Halloween exists in Naruto! But this is a fanfic so let me drabble. Thanks! XD
Anyway this is just plain drabbles I just wrote this out of boredom! Anyway let's go back to the topic shall we?
Better than what I've expected

(Another a/n: They are all jounins here same with Neji's team and they're 16)
"Oh come on Kakashi sensei! We're like 16 now and you expect us to go on a Halloween party?" the blond with cerulean eyes complained like a six year old pretending to be old.
"Whatever" the Uchiha prodigy said with his eyes closed leaning on the same pole he used to lean on back when they were still gennins and arms crossed on his chest.
"Oh quiet Naruto, just listen to Kakashi sensei will you?" Sakura tried to say as calm as she can but found herself failing.
"Fine!" Naruto pouted.
"Well… like I was saying, the Hokage arranged a party for the upcoming Halloween, and you guys will be coming along with Gai's, Kurenai's, and Asuma's team. No one is allowed to ditch, all jounins are to come. I suggest you come, if you still want to see tomorrow, semi formal so you don't need to wear anything too fancy. Oh and you have to have a partner too" and with that he took out his book and left with a puff.
"OH well… I'm going with Hinata chan!" Naruto announced cheerfully forgetting that he was complaining about the party.
"Dobe" the raven haired jounin muttered. Sakura sighed at her teammate's childlike attitude, but she couldn't help but be amused about it. Naruto said his goodbyes and left to find his partner.
"Now who should I go with?" she thought out loud. She wanted to ask Sasuke but she knew she was going to be rejected besides she's changed and not the annoying girl she used to be back when they were gennins. But who could she ask besides him? Lee? Nah he had a girlfriend already so it's impossible.
"Oh well… I have to try or else I'll end up without anyone or maybe I could ask one my fan boys" she thought sighing again. She doesn't approve of this party at all. "Why did shishou do this?" she thought annoyingly. Sakura gained the attention of many young men of Konoha. She is beautiful with her long pink tresses always locked up in a messy bun, curves that could turn other girls green with envy, eyes resembling emeralds that sparkle seductively, luscious soft pink lips that makes almost all the men want to kiss her and furthermore she's not weak anymore. She's become a strong woman with great knowledge and great shinobi skills not to mention one of the best medic nins. Yup, she's grown up into one great woman.
"But I really don't want to go with them, they stare disgustingly!" she thought again. Sasuke found himself staring at her amusingly. He observed how she would sigh thinks of something brightens up then sigh again. It surely was an amusing sight.
Sasuke knew he has grown a liking towards this pink haired kunoichi. What reason would there be if he doesn't? when he glares at all men staring at her with lust on their eyes, when men comes even one foot radius from her, when someone talks to her and hits on her apart from him, heh sure he lusts over her, who won't? But he knows lust is not the only thing.
He dazed out of his thoughts when the pink haired woman went nearer to him and he finds himself smirking inwardly.
She finally stops at his front and tried to plaster a smile on her face, half successful.
"Uhmm… Sasuke kun, if you don't mind, would you please come with me to the party?" she asked.
"This is where he says the big fat NO" inner Sakura mused.
"Alright" he replied smirking.
"Well, I tried—wait! He said what!" she thought dumbfounded.
Sasuke sure is enjoying her expression right now.
"Uh—uhm I didn't quite catch that, sorry"
"Don't wake up yet! This just got to be the best dream ever apart from the one where he kissed you… " inner Sakura exclaimed.
"I said alright, I'll go with you" he repeated still smirking.
"Really? I mean okay… see you then" she couldn't believe what she was hearing.
Sasuke watched her expression of confusion, and then turned his back on her which brought her back to her senses.
"Oh and Sakura" he turns to her while she looks up on him only to be kissed. The sharingan possessor broke the kiss after a few seconds and left her stunned.
When he was out of her view, she reached up to her lips,
"Did he just kiss me?" she thought her mind not yet able to fully comprehend the strange happenings.
"Hell yeah! You were kissed by Sasuke, the Uchiha Sasuke! You go girl!" inner Sakura ranted. Sakura was still having a hard time comprehending what just happened.
"Hell yeah! This is better! It's real!" inner Sakura was dancing wildly in sheer happiness.
Sakura was able to believe a little hesitant but she managed to.
It was nighttime and the time for the party was nearing. Deciding she should fix herself up, freshen up for the party. She went to her closet and looked for suitable clothing for the upcoming party. Though she can't seem to shrug off the feeling of happiness and a small smile formed at her pinkish soft lips.
She opened it and browses then sighs. She took out an off shoulder green one piece dress that reaches until her knees, that has a slit on one side. (a/n: I suck at these, excuses)
She then took out a pair of high heeled shoes. She puts the dress on the bed and shoes beside the bed. Then she went to the bathroom and took a bath. After a while she comes out in a robe and a towel on her hair.
She then sits down on her bed gazing at her clothes and a small smile crept onto her face.
"Maybe it won't be so bad" she thought looking at the bright side.
She then looks at her clock and was startled, "Better get ready, Sasuke will be coming already in a while" she then slipped in her dress then dried her hair.
After a minute or two, she puts her hair in the usual messy bun and puts on light make up.
As soon as she wore her shoes, the bell rang.
She then went downstairs and answers the door. And saw the face of the person she expected she would see.
"Konbanwa Sasuke kun" she said smiling. (a/n: it's 7 pm) he merely nodded as an acknowledgement.
"Let's go" he said and it's her turn to nod back.
"So what do you make of this party?"
"I don't know… best just enjoy it huh?" honestly that's her opinion, she didn't care if she does come or not but she knew her sensei's temper and she doesn't quite want to die yet.
"Agreed" was the brief reply.
"Hey there Tenten! How are you?" the pink haired kunoichi asked and they chatted away while Sasuke talked to the Hyuuga prodigy if you could actually say it's a real conversation.
"Heh… "
"So what are you planning?" Neji asked with a bit interest.
"You'll see… soon enough" was his reply.
"I envy you, you got a boyfriend and on top of that, a Hyuuga, Hyuuga Neji!" Sakura said playfully.
Tenten stifled a laugh from Sakura's statement.
"Well… I have to say I'm happy now, but change of topic… well…?" Tenten asked slyly.
"Well what?" Sakura didn't quite understand.
"I mean about Uchiha! I mean are you two finally together? He is your partner!" Tenten explained.
"Oh… that… well, no. it's true we went together here but that's not the case!" she tried convincing the brunette while blushing.
"Really… no need to hide things from, Sakura!" she said making Sakura blush more.
"Tenten…" she turned at the mention of her name.
"What is it, Neji?" she asked but after hearing a song played she understood, "Okay"
She stood up and said her, "see you later" to the couple.
She turned to Sasuke who was smirking, the reason, she herself want to know.
"Uhm… wanna dance?" she asked looking down, but her face was brought up instantly by a hand on her chin, "Sasuke?" she asked bewildered.
She was pulled to the dance floor and was pulled closer to him, his hands on her waist. She followed him and puts her hands on his neck as she smiled brightly.
"Have I told you that you look very pretty?" he started. Sakura didn't quite expect that but what had happened recently was enough for her to believe.
"Thank you, Sasuke kun. You look nice too" she praised.
The whole song, they were just swaying slowly her head rested on his shoulder while he rests his head on her head smelling her scent.
After the song, Sasuke pulled her to the balcony where they were alone.
"Is something the matter, Sasuke kun?" she asked, curiosity getting the better of her.
"I have something to tell you" he said, his back on her.
"What is it?"
"I love you" he said now looking at her, then after digesting what she had heard, tears streamed out of her eyes then she smiled genuinely.
"I love you too" she replied hugging him. They separated only to lock their lips passionately.
After what seem like an eternity claps could be heard, the couple broke the kiss out of bafflement. They looked at the source of the disturbance,
"Finally Sasuke teme! took you long enough!" Naruto shouted grinning sheepishly.
"See! You finally got together and you were teasing me a while ago!" Tenten said happily.
Sakura just smiled back,
"I never expected this would've happened, but I wouldn't have it any other way" she smiled as she placed a short but sweet kiss to her love.
