A/N- Nick was never kidnapped, never subject to the horrors of that tomb...but Greg will be and as the plot unfolds we see that he has a secret in Seattle, a secret that calls him 'daddy'
In the busy Vegas worl that he was subject to every single day, going home and seeing the photgraphs made him forget the death he saw everyday and remember how wonderul life really is. Greg could sit for hours looking at those pictures but as they say in Vegas brochures ' It's the city that never sleeps' and indeed it didn't. It had suprised him at first how a city could just keep going ang going without stoping for breath but now he barely noticed it. Work was his life now, that and what lay in Seattle but often times is job became too demanding for him to visit Seattle as much as he wished too.
Many a time Greg had debated about moving to Seattle but whenever he thought about why he hadn't..he knew it was because of his job. greg couldn't help but feel guilty, he was putting his job before his life after all.
Vegas as well, Vegas was full of life and death, a city of dreams and hopes, it would be a hard city to leave.
But maybe, just maybe one day he mights. Until then though it would just have to be the phone calls and emails from Seattle to keep him going.
" What?" Greg yawned as he stretched to relieve muscle cramp.
" You looked so happy to be finally outta' here"
Greg shrugged, he knew the real reason he wanted to get home but he wasn't going to tell;
" Aren't we all?"
" Amen!;" Catherine Willows came up beside them, her straw-berry blonde hair swinging against her shoulders;
" I'm going to go home and order Lindsey in some breakfast"
" Sweet deal;" Warrick Brown came up beside them now, one hand running through his unkempt hair;
" I'm going to go grab some breakfast too. You guys wanna' join me?"
Nick nodded in approval;
" Sure thing. Greggo?"
Greg yawned and thought this over. All he craved was to go home and check his email for something from Seattle but his stomach rumbled in angry hunger;
" You know what, I'll take you up on that offer."
