THE FINAL CHAPTER!

It takes place at the karaoke restaurant where they were all going to eat that night.

But first I should apologize for sounding so harsh last time. I wasn't angry with you, I was just miffed at the lack of attention my stories and I had been getting. You see, I am a (im-)mature (very) young woman and let's just say it was the WRONG time of the month for me to be miffed, if you get what I mean...

But enough about my bodily functions, on with the LAST CHAPTER!

He really does hate me now...

She sat in her seat, staring miserably at her laptop. It was her own fault for sending him that message, the least she could do to make it up to him was to come here like he asked.

"Hey Rebecca, what's wrong?"

"Hi, Mokuba."

"Whatcha lookin' at?"

"Email."

"Didja get dumped or something?"

"Sort of... well not really..."

"He turned you down?"

"Yeah... wait how do you know who I-?"

"I don't, I just figured it would be a he... unless..."

"IT'S A HE!"

"Right... good. Not that there's anything wrong with... uh, you know..."

"Stop. Just stop right there!"

"S-sorry... So, he turned you down by email? That's pretty mean."

"He's not mean! I kinda told him by computer anyway..." she then proceeded to tell her friend the whole story of how she had actually told Ryuuji she loved him.

Leaving out the name, of course.

"Hmm," he said when she finished. "It sounds to me like you went to a lot of trouble to tell him how you felt, and if he can't be nice in his reply, he's a jerk who doesn't deserve your affections!"

"That's not true! He's really sweet, and he would never hurt my feelings on purpose."

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah! He was just upset! See, look at the message!"

"Hmm... liar, he didn't turn you down at all! All that pep talk for nothing! Hmph!" He got up and left. "Hey nii-sama, you should sing something!"

"Don't be ridiculous! Besides, someone's already up there."

"YO!"

"Otogi, what the heck! What d'you think you're-!"

"It's a karaoke bar, so I'm singing! And if it sounds like a load of garbage, it's because the song was written by a girl."

It began with a horribly farmiliar guitar solo. "Oh... my... god..." Rebecca said under her breath.

Then he started to sing, "I looked away, then I looked back at you..." It did sound extremely silly, and much of the audience whined because they weren't that good at English.

"You tried to say things that you can't undo...

His cheerleaders giggled like the ninnies they were, looking among their little troope trying to figure out which one it could be.

But once the song finished, Otogi turned toward his friends' table:

"Hey Becky, wanna go out sometime?"

Everybody fell silent from shock. Then suddenly the entire restaurant echoed with Rebecca's hysterical laughter.

"Yeah," she said between fits, "yeah, I'd love to!

That was my first time finishing a multi-chapter fic!
