A/N: This fic was written for the fic on demand LJ community. Someone requested a fic where one of the characters was on a sugar high. Silliness definitely abounds in this fic!
"It was so sweet of you to buy me chocolates! I probably shouldn't have eaten the whole box at once, but it was chocolate, and you know me, I can't resist chocolately goodness. I probably shouldn't tell you that, since you're a big bad vampire who likes to take advantage of me and I guess that is a weakness you could take advantage of, but then again, I kind of like it when you take advantage of me, and you sure seem to like it too, so I guess there's really no harm done…."
Willow continued to ramble, barely taking time to breath in between sentences, but for once, Spike didn't roll his eyes in amusement. Instead, he found himself just as hopped up as she was.
"What do you mean, I'm sweet? I'm a big bad vampire that eats little kittens like you for breakfast, and no you shouldn't have eaten the whole box in one go…ya could've at least saved a bloke a piece or two. You know how much I like chocolate and blood. You make a compelling point though…I do love taking advantage of you, but next time I think flowers might have to be the way to go. No harm done, you say, but I certainly wasn't expecting chocolate to turn you into a pixie on speed and how's a fellow supposed to seduce his girl if she can't even sit still for two seconds…."
What she was observing loosely resembled a conversation, except for the fact that they were both speaking at exactly the same time. They were each picking up bits and pieces of what the other person was saying and responding to it without pause, which resulted in two endless streams of overlapping babble.
Buffy backed away from the room quietly. Now was definitely not the time to ask Willow to help her research.
Spike idly traced his fingers around the puncture wounds on her neck. He had meant to surprise her…start the evening off with a little amorous bloodletting and see where it went from there. He should have known better when he saw the empty box of chocolates. It had been fun at the time, but the after effects were killer.
This was the last time he'd ever feed from his witch when she was on a sugar high.
