Chapter Details: DracoHermione. Character Death!

Chapter Summary: 'He always made her stumble over her words. She brushed her eyes and looked at him. And in that moment, she felt utterly compelled to be with Draco.' Hermione could never seem to control herself around him…it was like he wanted her to be this way…. but why? Why would someone she loved, who loved her, want to make her feel that way?

Cherub Rock

Draco stared at the dark haired beauty lying on the bed. 'Hermione.' He thought. 'If only things didn't have to be this way.' His eyes cleared. The girl stirred.

"Draco?" She asked confusedly, her brown eyes staring up at him softly.

"I'm here, Hermione." He said softly, stepping closer to the luxurious bed. Her eyes were watery and her clothes looked like she had a fitful sleep.

"I'm scared, Draco." She walked over and hugged him tightly, her face pressed against his shoulder. She was trembling.

"It's okay, you have nothing to be afraid of, Hermione. Nothing at all." He said softly.

She pulled back and kissed him slowly. She didn't know why Draco made her feel this way about everything…. she felt so forced.

'But, I love Draco.' She admitted to herself.

'No.' Her sub-conscious told her. 'You don't.' Hermione shook her head.

Her sub-conscious told her. Hermione shook her head.

"Hermione, are you alright?" Draco's soft voice broke her thoughts.

"I-I'm fine." She said, stumbling over the right words. He always made her stumble over her words. She brushed her eyes and looked at him. And in that moment, she felt utterly compelled to be with Draco.

She pressed her lips to his forcefully, as he responded to the same beat. She felt an uproar explode inside of her body and she felt a strange sense of fear overcome her as Draco pushed her towards the bed.

She felt her knees hit the bed and she crashed, Draco's strong, muscled body firmly placed above her. She felt herself want to stop, but she couldn't find any place in herself to stop Draco. The way he was touching her was alluring to her senses and she felt her eyes tear up again. Draco looked at her, taking in her appearance, before noticing the uncomfortableness and sitting up.

"Are you sure nothing's wrong, Hermione?" He asked worriedly.

"I-I'm fine!" She said, her eyes filing with tears. He put his arms around her.

"What's wrong, Hermione? Please, tell me what's wrong." Draco urged of her. She shook her head.

"Nothing-I-nothing's wrong!" She stuttered out, her eyes glassy and confused. Her head was throbbing.

She did the only thing that temporarily took her mind off of things. She kissed him again. Her eyes teared up again, and she choked back a sob. Draco broke away.

"Hermione." He held her shoulders and looked her in the eyes.

"Tell me if you are okay, or not. I'm worried." She looked down, away from his steely gaze.

"I-" She moved back and looked out onto the balcony, folding her arms up on the railing. She was quiet for a while, humming to herself.

"Hermione?" Draco asked softly. "Are you okay?" The girl shook her head, tears falling from her eyes. She seemed to keep doing that lately. Crying.

"No. I'm tired of feeling like I'm not doing the right thing by standing here. I want you to stop making me feel like this!" She yelled furiously, turning back to face him.

"Hermione..." She stuck her finger out at him. "I'm tired of the way you make me feel! You make me feel so wonderous and horrific at the same time! I hate you!" Draco dropped his head in shock.

"I'm tired of this." She had stopped yelling.

"I don't want to feel like I don't belong. That you make me feel like I'm nothing." She continued.

"Leave me alone!" She yelled again, as Draco took a cautious step towards her. She moved back, her body jerking viciously.

"Leave me alone! Don't touch me! I-" Her statement was cut off as she tumbled over the balcony, her eyes stinging.

The warm air whipped around her like riding on a horse-driven carriage. She could see Draco's outstretched hand start to fade away.

"Hermione!" He called to her.

Her eyes filled with tears as she knew what was coming and braced herself. Jerking to a stop, she felt her spine break the fall.

"Hermione!" Draco called out, noticing her not moving. "Can you hear me?"

Oh, she could. 'I wish I could tell you I'm okay right now, Draco. But, I'm dying.' She thought. 'I can't even move.'

She lay there, red dots swimming through her vision. The peachy-blonde blob that was Draco walked off, probably to come and see her.

She felt black clouded her eyes as her final tears slipped out. her last thoughts were, 'I feel...lighter.' And she was.

At the last moment of life, she could feel the last bits of weightness from the illegal Imperious Curse drift away.
