Hello! I’ve decided that this story is due for a good old fashioned edit. When I started writing it, I was still pretty inexperienced so there are probably some very obtrusive errors in it. In order for those who haven’t read it to fully enjoy it, I’m going through all the chapters again… Rewriting what took me six and a half months.
Fun.
Ah, well. It’s worth it… I hope.
I don’t want to lose my reviews that I have, so I’ll rework the story rather then deleting the chapters. Therefore, please bear with me! If you’re new to the story, please don’t read the unedited chapters! I want you to thoroughly enjoy it, ok? Ok.
Anyway, a disclaimer. I will put it at the start and you therefore won’t have to read one at the beginning of each new chapter.

I do have a couple of original characters, just to help set scenes and build peoples personalities. One appears quite often in the later half of the story, but DO NOT BE PUT OFF! I know how people usually feel about OCs, but I have tried to make them as unobtrusive as possible. Something often repeated from my reviewers is that they actually don’t find my OCs annoying. That’s probably my best achievement.
Anyway, for those of you new to this story and those who are not, I learnt a lot writing it. Not just about writing but about people. The characters face a lot of hardship in this story and some really horrible things happen to a lot of people. I got to thinking, is it realistic that even after so much, that these people continue to fight? I think it must be. I think people, certainly myself, can be incredibly dense sometimes. We go off and kill each other over trivial things like land space, etc and we behave destructively over the tiniest thing sometimes. We can be really dumb…
However, if you look closely, one can clearly see that when a person has something they truly believe in, something they see as worth fighting for, they won’t stop or quit, even to a point that they get killed fighting for it. I don’t just mean wars or stupid stuff like that. I’m talking about almost everything. There is no such thing as a weak human being who pours their heart and soul into what they believe in. Some people, and in this case, Wesker, are so set in their views that physical strength is the only true strength, that they underestimate all that a human being is capable of. I don’t know a lot, but I am certain that underneath the fact that we can be stupid, the fact that we are fragile and maybe physically weak, we’re powerful. When we fight for what we believe in, every single human being is strong. I hope that in reading this story, you might be able to see that too.
