Twined - Stay Strong!

You think I sleep, here in the quiet darkness of our shared mind. Instead, I still, and listen. You wonder if I am the reason your friends love you. I can tell you, it is not so.

In truth I have seized part of your life.

So much you endure, for my sake! Yet, you never weaken into tears, as a lesser man would. You are the strength that bears up my weary soul. I take shelter in your inmost heart and comfort in the brightness of your dreams.

It is you who is the strong one, Yugi. Not I.

Something a little different, two bits of prose that don't really stand alone, but together, perhaps, make a single piece of writing.

A "drabble" is a short piece of writing that is exactly 100 words long, where word choice becomes critical since there are so few permitted. Yami's response to Yugi's angst is a drabble.
