Is it a colour?

It is much more then that.

It is my soul, my inner most being.

My core.

It’s an emotion.

The feeling I feel at my strongest,

Also my weakest.

My dead lifeless centre beats in time to its calling.

Black.

The sound of the word resounds through me.

The sound of a funeral bell, tolling for my next victim.

The next person, to suffer under the hands of this emotion.

An indescribable emotion.

Is it power?

Pain, suffering, sadness, joy?

It’s a new emotion it’s simply,

Black.
