The caress of the wind, the smell of the sea. The dazzle of the spinning shadow your bicycle's wheel's leave on the road.

My hair clinging to the sweat on my neck while your hair flutters in the wind and turn a paler shade of gold under the sun.

My feet are only centimetres from the ground and the wind is threatening to steal away my sandals.

The edge of my skirt ripples against the wind like the dance of the waves of the sea before me.

The back of your shirt is against my cheek. The wetness from your sweat is drying from the wind passing through it.

Our skin are covered from salt from the sea and ourselves.

I am dizzy from the feel of the sea, wind and watching our shadow on the road.

I balance myself on the satchel holder behind you and even when I close my eyes, I can see the shadows and lighter shades of our hair created by this evening light.

Right here and now, under the sun, against the wind, on a road beside an empty sea; is the definition of my Summer.
