A/N:This story is almost over! But I already have a sequel going! And I'm thinking of doing a trilogy but I'm not too sure about doing that. Tell me if I should of shouldn't in reviews1 On with the fic!

Ch.24-Blood Red Eyes

Rikku stood in front of Sniper. He glared at her and she smirked back defiantly.

"Looks like you're being stalked by the wolf" she said as her ninja guardian stalked him. "DalFang! Go!" she called.

DalFang, her guardian, howled and jumped towards Sniper. Sniper shot at DalFnag but it missed the wolf….but hit someone else. There was a sharp cry. DalFang glanded on all fours and turned to look at is master and best friend. Rikku was kneeling on the ground holding her arm. Blood was seeping through her fingers.

"Ruki!" Sparky yelled, horrified.

"Rikku"! Zack cried getting to his feet. DalFang growled and dove towards Sniper. Sniper hit DalFang with the side of his gun and DalFang went down. Sniper turned and pointed the gun at Rikku. He got ready to pull he trigger.

"Say goodbye" he said.

"Don't!" Ryan cried. Rikku looked up Ryan was standing in front of her his arms spread out. "You aren't hurting her anymore" he said softly yet calmly.

"Ry…don't…" Rikku said grimacing in pain. Ryan smiled at her over his shoulder.

"I have to do this" he whispered. "Come and get me" he said lowering his arms. Sniper aimed his gun at Rocky.

"Your death wish little boy" he said and fired.

"NO!" Rikku yelled.

In a flash of gray, Ryan stepped back into a shadow, and disappeared. He reapeared behind Sniper and kicked him I nthe bak of the head. Sniper went down.. Meanwhile, Rumiku and Deathliger, her guardian, were fighting Snake.

"Deathliger….Darkness Hunting Lion Crush!" she commanded. Deathliger roared and surged forward. Black flames shot around him and he slammed into Snake. Burn, Shadow, Thundara, SilverWing, and Shaman flew down, picked up Sniper and Snake and flew away. ThunderTatsu, Sparky's Guardian, SilverTatsu, Physic's guardian, SpiritSaru, Sydney's guardian, and ElementCheeta, Mecca's guardian, were putting the others on to the guardians' backs.

"C'mon let's go" Mecca said getting on ElementCheeta's back.

Slowly the guardians flew back to the Tipton.

"You know Ryan, you're an idiot" Rikku said sitting on DalFang. Ryan sighed deeply. Rikku looked over her shoulder and smiled slightly. "But I thank you deeply" she said. Ryan smiled back. Zack glanced at the tw with hostility burning in his eyes

"We're back" Mecca said sliding off of ElementCheeta. He lifted Max off of ElementCheeta.

"Hey guys. We're gonna have trouble getting Syd inside" Alan said jumping off the back of Deathliger.

"Why's that?" Rumiku asked him sliding off slowly. She hit the ground and stumbled but Colt caught her before she could fall. She stood straight. "Thanks" she mumbled thankful that it was night time because he face was really red.

"No problem. Besides, he's asleep." he replied pointing to Sydney on the back of SpiritSaru. Mecca laughed and lifted him off of the monkey. Mr. Moseby, Carey, Kurt, , London, and Maddie ran outside.

"We thought you wee here! What happened!" Carey asked hugging Zack and Cody tightly. Nobody replied. Theywere too busy hugging eachother. Except for the Hiroshimas and Ryan and Alan standing a few feet away from the group looking at the ground awkwardly.

Mr. Moseby turned to Ryan and Alan. Do ou two have a ride home? You checked out this afternoon and said you parents would be here soon" he asked.

"Well I-" they were cut off by a honking. Ryan turned and waved as his mom drove up. "We're going back to Virgina Beach" he replied.

"Bye Rikk, Ru, Sparkster, Lil Phyz, Syd" Alan said to them. They hugged him and Ryan. Ryan and Alan kissed Rikku's and Rumiku's cheeks. Rikku ad Rumiku glanced at Zack and Cody bt the two looked away. Alan and Ryan got into his mom's car and drove away.

"Let's get you all inside" Mr. Moseby said opening the Tipton doors.

Sydney woke up the next morning with bandges around his forhed and forearms. He strecthed and got off of his floor. What a baby! He didn't even make it to his bed. He wqlked intothe kitchen.

"Good morning" Sydney said cheefuly to his siblings. He kissed Rikku and Rumiku on the cheek.

"Morning" they grumbled.

The doorbell rang. Sparky and Phhysic groaned and dropped their heads onto the table. Sydney got up and ran to the door. "Hi guys!" he greeted Zack, Cody, Max, and Tapeworm.

"Hi" they greeted back walking into the suite. Sydney led them into the kitched.

"Hi guys! Ready to go to the park?" Tapeworm said hyperly. Rikku, Rumiku, Spaky, and Physic mumbled inaudible replies.

"So where's Mecca?" Max asked after a long day of playing 500!.

"He went back to Australia earlier this morning" Sydney replied.

"Let's just play already! 200! DEAD OR ALIVE!" Max yelled throwing the ball.

She threw it too hard and it flew into the woods.

"Smooth move Max-man. Now we have to find it" Rikku grumbled as theywalked into the woods.

"Ouch!" Sydney cried getting scrathced by a thorn.

"Did anybody find it?" Tapeworm called.

"NO!" Two voices replied.

"Well keep looking!" Zack called back.

The kids looked for two housrs until it got dark. Then they turned on flahlights and kept looking.

"We don't need a flashlight. We have the light of the moon to use" Cody said pointing to the sky with it. Sparky looked up. Instead of it's usual silver glow, the moon was glwoing red. Blood red.

"Uh-oh" he muttered. Rikku, Rumiku, Sparky, Physic,and Sydney noticed it too.

"Forget the ball! We have to get out of here!" Rumiku called, as the Hiroshiams ran out of the woods.

"Can't we look a little bit longer?" Cody asked practicaly whining.

"I don't think that's a good idea Code" Tapeworm said after seeing the scared looks on his friends' faces.

"Let's get home" Zack said starting forward.

"Too late" Sydney whispered. A pillar of red light fell out of the sky and landed on the Hiroshimas.

They cried out as their eyes turned blood red. Their fangs grew longer. And they grew claws. Sydney grew blue monkey ears. A blue monkey tail. And he grew opposable toes. Sparky and Physic grew dragon wings. A dragon tail. And Dragon ears. Rumiku grew a lion's tail from the base of her spine. Lion's feet. Lion teeth. And demon ears on top of her head. Rikku grew Wolf's teeth. Demon ears on top of her head. Wolf's tail. And Wolf feet. When the light faded she reared her head back and howled mournfuly. Zack, Cody, Max, and Tapeworm covered their ears trying to block out the sound. Sparky and Phyisc flapped their dragon wings and flew towards Tapeworm. Tapeworm cried out and ran away. Sparky and Phyisc followed. Sydney followed Max, jumping from tree to tree. Rumiku sprinted towards Cody and kicked him in the stomach. He skidded back but placed his fist on the ground and stopped himself.

"Ru! Don't!" he cried shielding his face. He looked up and saw her glaring at him with her glowing eyes.

"They must've lost control of something!" Zack cried crashing into a tree. Tapeworm crashed next to him. Rumiku kicked Cody next to Tapeworm. And Sydney knocked Max next to them. Sparky and Physic flew around them tying them to the tree. They flew back and stood next to their siblings and their hands glowed ebony black.

"DARKNESS DEMON BLAST!" They yelled shooting the beams of black energy at the four teens. Zack, Cody, Max, and Tapeworm screamed in pain as the energy hit them. Their screams grew louder and louder as the combined energy exloded sending them in different directions…

Cody woke to have bandages across his forhead and chest. He sat up and winced in pain. He looked around and Tapeworm, Max, and Zack were sitting up too.

"What happened?" Tapeworm asked.

"I have an idea but I'm not so sure" Cody muttered. Their mom and dad walked in. Along with Max's parents and Tapeworm's parents. Mr. Moseby came in too.

"Are you ok?" Carey asked hugging and kissing them all.

"We're fine mom. Where are the Hiroshimas?" Zack asked.

"I looked into their suite. It was completely cleaned out. Almost as if they never were there" Kurt replied solemly.

"WHAT!" Max, Zack, Tapeworm, and Cody cried. They jumped out of bed even if they were in excrutiating pain.

"Get back in bed!" Mr. Moseby said gently pushing them back down on the beds.

"We can't Mr. Moseby! We have to see our friends!" Zack replied.

"They aren't there" Mr. Moseby replied. Cody gritted his teeth and slightly nodded. Zack, Max, and Tapeworm nodded back. The four teens jumped off the bed. Kurt, Carey, Max's parents, Tapeworm's parents, and Mr. Moseby walked towards them to sit them back down they used their super speed to dodge the and stand in ront of the door. Everybody looked shocked. But Carey looked horrified.

"Sorry about his" Tapeworm said.

"But we have to see for ourselves" Zack and Max said. Cody nodded silently They went across the hall to the Hiroshimas' suite. Zack pushed the front door opened easily.

"Hello!" Tapeworm called. His voice ecohed off the walls. Of the hotel walls. No sign that the Hiroshimas were there. Kurt was right. It was as if they didn't move in. Zack looked down at the floor and picked up the picture he found in Core's mansion tha fell out of Ryan's pocket.

"All we know for sure is, they were actualy here. It wasn't a dream" Max said taking it from him.

"Yeah. But there's one problem" Cody said leaning against a wall, exhausted.

"What's that?" Zack asked.

"Where are they?" he said.

A/N:Well, I'm done wit the first story out of the 'Home Is Where The Hurt Is' double series. But I'm thinking of doing a trilogy. The next story will be called Shade of Fear:Losing Control. Where are the Hiroshimas? And what happened to them? And what actualy happened to the Hiroshiams fou years ago? Look for the next story soon!
