Conversations
A/N: The bolded parts signify Greg’s conversation with Nick, and the italicized parts signify Sara’s conversation with Catherine. Just think of it like this: if this little piece were filmed, it would be a split screen between the two conversations. I was inspired by That ‘70s Show’s style of split screen conversations. Hope you enjoy it! (...Greg and Sara each went out last night on seperate dates. What do they have to say the next day?)
“Oh, man, she had this waist length blonde hair…”
“He had the most impossible blue eyes you’d ever seen…”
“Her smile was so cute, and don’t even get me started on other parts of her body.”
“We ate dinner at this romantic little bistro, it felt like I was in Paris.”
“I took her to this old fashioned pizza parlor, she loved it.”
“He opened all the doors- he was such a gentleman.”
“You wouldn’t believe it- she wore this low cut shirt and knee length leather skirt.”
“He wore khakis and a dress shirt, with a blazer over it. He looked so mature and intelligent.”
“So after dinner, we took a walk on the strip.”
“After dinner, he drove me up to this spot where we could see a whole bunch of constellations.”
“She linked her arm in mine, and this old woman came up to us, and told us we were a cute couple.”
“He didn’t even try to make out with me in his car.”
“I even scored a kiss on the way to her house.”
“Then, he drove me home, and it turns out that we have a lot in common.”
“When we finally got to her place, I walked her to the door…”“When we got to my apartment, he walked me to my door.”
“She invited me inside.”
“He kissed me on the cheek.”
“I turned her down.”
“I just went inside.”
“Why? What went wrong?” Nick asked.
“Why? What went wrong?” Catherine asked.
…
“She wasn’t Sara.”
…
“He wasn’t Greg.”
