It’s one of those things, Rose thinks. Just something she has to get used to. He’s the same really, just different. He has the same infinity for tea and chips, the same liking of always moving around, the same opinion of her. The fact that his hair grown and his nose is different, and that he know wears a tweed coat doesn’t really change who he is inside.

“So, where to?” he asks from across the console where he’s holding down several levers and attempting to hold down one more with elbow.

“Er...” because, really, she doesn’t care where she is, as long as the Doctor’s by her side.

“I heard the forest of Chiniger is nice this time of year. Wanna go exploring?” he smiles cheekily at her and Rose can’t help but fall further.

“Sure.”

Because even though she’s never heard of wherever they’re going, she trusts the Doctor, and that definitely never changes.
