Midnight Blue Misery
written by cjan5 (prevoiusly cleojan5)

I like feeling your presence more than anything in the world. To me, you are the world. You’re the sky and the earth and everything in between. You’re the rain that drips into my outstretched hands and the tears that seep through my eyelids and run down my cheek. You are my world, and without you my world would dissolve.

To most, you are a tragic hero with a haunted look that it is supposed came from the dark times you have been though, a person who is set apart from the rest of the world because of the deed you must someday do. Set apart from the rest of the world because your destiny has already been decided.

I sit here, in the space between the midnight blue sky and the wet ground, knowing that somewhere, you too are in the space between. And it hurts me that I don’t know exactly where you are, and that no matter how loud I scream you won’t be able to hear me.

Where are you? I feel so helpless, knowing that you are not here beside me, knowing that at this very moment you could be dying and that there is absolutely nothing I could do about it.

I wonder if you are thinking about me, or if you have forgotten me entirely. I wonder if you are looking at the same midnight blue sky as I, wishing the same wishes on every star you see.

I want you to come back to me.
