"Okaachan!" A little girl shouted.

"Rii!" Yukina exclaimed picking her up.

'Rii!' Hieis eyes narrowed dangerously.

The little girl had light blue eyes with blue hair...only...3 pieces were greeen and she was full ice apparition, too.

"You're covered in soot!" Yukina exclaimed.

"I was trying to conjure fire!"

Hiei had raised an eyebrow at this.

"Mmm." Yukina groaned. Yoko was trying to hide his amused smile with his hand.

"I've tried to explain to her countless times, but she won't listen." Toya sighed, walking towards them.

"Why? What's wrong with fire, okaachan?"

Yukina's smile was gentle. "Nothing, sweetheart. We just can't use it because we're ice demons, not fire."

"You know what I think's weird." Toya said taking her from Yukina."Is.." holding her up, he finished while tickling her,"an ice apparition obsessed with fire. Right, Hiei?"

"Hn."

"Heeheeheehee, Otoochan!Stop it!"

"You might want to be careful with that one." Yusuke remarked with a knowing smile.

"Why?" Yukina asked.

"Well, she just might fall for a fire youkai."

"I wouldn't mind." Yukina replied softly.

Hiei sent a glare at Yusuke, whose smile turned sheepish.

"I'm going to get her cleaned."Yukina told them.

"Okay." Toya laughed, kissing them both, one on the cheek the other on the forehead.

When the rest got to Yusukes office, someone was already sitting in one of the chairs. "Y'know, I always wondered why you hated me so much, Shrimp. But, after awhile I figured it out." the person turned to face them. "You're her brother." that person was Kazuma Kuwabara.

"Oaf, I would've thought that by now you'd learn not to call me Shrimp and it's no business of yours anyway." Hiei stated, irritated that he found out the secret.

Kuwabara smiled,"No...Not anymore...and I threw it in for old time's sake."

But that didn't change Hiei's glare.

"You're different." Toya remarked.

"Diffinitely matured." Yusuke agreed.

"That's good, you also seem...smart?" Yoko added.

"Enough pointless babble. Why are we here and how does your daughter know things which she shouldn't!"

"Always count on Hiei to get right to the point." Yusuke muttered.

"But what I'm intrested in is who her Mother is."

"And Kurama to get the million dollar questions."

"Why I'm here."Toya said.

"Yeah and how she got so cocky!"

"Alright, alright! One at a time, geesh. Okay the reason we're here is because I've got this letter from Koenma."

They all started at that.

"Why?" Yoko asked.

"All this says is he wants us here and he'll tell us when he gets here because Botan's in labor."

00 Blink "Uh, come again?" Kuwabara said.

"Yeah, that got me too, as a matter of fact, that still has me. Now, moving to Yoko's question." Yusuke said with a sigh. "Reiken's mother was the last of her kind. Not only that, but I needed an heir from this world, one that understands youkais and is one that can get the demon's respect easier. I didn't tell Keiko, of course, and when Reiken was born, her okaasan up and died. Back then I didn't know anything about babbies so I did the only thing that made sense at the time, I... took her to Keiko and came clean with everything. She forgave me and all, but after about a year I hired someone to help me look after her and raise her. The first couple died and I turned to Yukina, who, being Yukina wouldn't accept the pay."

"That's interesting, but..."

"I know, Kuwabara! Even before she could talk she had an attitude, which is quite creepy, really."

Hiei growled.

"Um, Hiei, I don't have an answer for that because she always seems to know a lot of things that seem impossible for her to know, so go ask her yourself, and while you're at it could you bring her here?"

Hiei glared.

"Oh, and why did she have you jacket anyway?"Yusuke asked as an afterthought.

"Ran across two kids that had nothing except thier wings." Then he disappeared.

"Oh." Was the reply.

"Is it just me, or is he less talkative than normal?" Toya asked.

They all exchanged glances with each other.

Reiken was laying on her bed with her brusied cheek towards the ceiling and her right cheeck resting on her arm with her left hand in front of her face. Sighing, and with closed eyes, she asked herself silently. 'Why did I have to do that, can't I keep my mouth shut?'

"No" she muttered, still with closed eyes and just now opening them. "That'd be too easy, wouldn't it?" Closing her eyes again, she let out a deep breath just when she heard two raps at the door.

Quickly she got up and pulled open the door and to meet a rather pissed off Hiei.

"Um.." she realizaed she was still wearing his jacket, widening the space she said,"You can come in."

He glared at her, but accepted the invitation anyway.

Reiken shut the door and walked to a closet. Rumaging until she found a shirt, she glanced at Hiei, who wasn't paying her any attention and was looking at her rather impressive collection of weapons of which he suspected weren't just for decoration, she hurriedly changed into the tank and slowly, cautiously approached him.

"Here, this is yours...and...well, arigato." She gave a very small bow.

He looked at her, noticing she was a few inchs shorter than he was. Hiei took his jacket from her and slipped it back on, acertain scent reached his nose, her scent.

"Was that all, or..."she trailed off.

The look on Hiei's face cut her off; he folded his arms.

She looked down again and stuffed her hands in her own pants pockets.

She knew what was coming.

"How did you know?" he asked, glaring harshly down at her.

"I'm not sure." she uttered, staring at the ground.

Growling, Hiei shoved her against the nearest wall, hard.

"Tell me." His voice threatened dangerously into her ear.

Reiken had gasped when her back slammed into the wall and now he was pushing up against her. He may not have noticed, but she sure as hell did!

Fighting for breath, she managed,"I really don't know how! I just know!"

Growling again, he pushed even more against her.

"Onna."

Trying to fight down a moan, she said,"I told you I don't know!"

But...a moan did closely follow her words.

Hiei's eyes widened (slightly) as he realized exactly what it was that he was doing and quickly released her to back up to a much safer distance.

Reiken gave a moan of protest, but somehow gathered her wits; her breathing was heavy and her chest was heaving up and down with her ragged breaths.

Hiei only glanced at her and she couldn't look back at him. 'What the hell just happened?' he had to ask himself.

Carefully avoiding her in any way possible, he walked to the door and opened it.

"Yusuke wants me to bring you."Was all he said.

Face covered by hair, Reiken tightly held her lower stomach, for it felt like there were a thousand needles twisting her insides.

"I don't need an escort, I know where he's at. Just tell him I'll be there in a minute."

"Hn."

She heard the door shut and sank to the ground with hands covering her face.

Hiei leaned against the door with closed eyes.
