Shall I compare thee to a Hippogriff?

Thou art more lovely, and more temperate

And I shall jinx those stupid Slyth'rins if

They say once more thy dressrobe's out of date.

Thy hair shines red, resounding in my heart

I'd love to speak to you, but there's some law

that tell the different houses: Keep apart!

Thus, Gryffindor won't mix with Ravenclaw

But my eternal love will never die

With every grain of power I possess

I'll never cease to patiently try

To make thee at least notice me, unless

Thou fall'st in love with that Hermione

Then I will never, ever speak to thee.
