Chapter 0ne: Break & kidnapped

Greg walked into the building were he worked and went straight into the break room to get his blue Hawaiian coffee. He was totally wiped out, he had just went home because it was the end of his shift but Grissom had called him about an hour ago to tell him they needed his help on a case.

The case was about 3 year old Tallie Brookin that was kidnapped from her room about 3 hours ago. The kidnapper didn’t leave a ransom note so they didn’t know yet if it was money they wanted.

As Greg walked into the break room he saw the whole team (except for Grissom) staring at him. There expressions told him they were surprised to see him there. “I guess Grissom forgot to tell them I was coming to help out” he thought to himself. Greg just walked past them and got his coffee. He sat next Catherine who just looked at him like he was wearing a multicoloured to-to and a diving suit. “What” Greg said to no one in particular. “well we thought you went home 2 hours ago” Nick said checking his watch. “I did but Gri” Grissom interrupted him as he walked in saying “told him to come in”. “But Gil” Catherine stated looking at the young CSI, who had pulling double shifts all week and now was looking really pale “Greg has been doing more work then me lately maybe you should give him a break”. “It’s ok Cath I’m fine” Greg said yawning. “ok now that, that’s done lets go” Grissom yelled.
