Chapter 14, Wishes Can Come True

XXXXXXXXXXXxxxxxxxxxx

It had been months since their little encounter over at his apartment and he wondered how much longer that they'd last. It was a beautiful summer day as he looked outside his office. He popped two Vicodin and watched Allison get out of her vehicle and look up towards his window. All his life he was looking for some one, and he'd never admit this to anyone else, that would make him happy. And that person was Allison. She made him re-think all he stood for. Sure, he hadn't changed his sarcastic behavior, his fluid snark, and his full-on banter. But he had made some internal changes. Some for the better, he admitted to himself finally.

The terms of their relationship were simple. They keep it to themselves, the only other person who knew was Wilson, but that was to be expected with his constant snooping and questioning. Sighing, he looked at her and smiled...the sun brought out the color in her lustrous curls that she'd trimmed back, despite his protests. He loved running his fingers through those strands.

"How's the view?" Asked a voice from behind him. Wilson, just what he needed...NOT.

"Depends on what's there."

"Ah." He heard James grunt and he saw him at his side a few moments later. "I see some trees, some cars, a sunrise, and OH...Allison Cameron smiling up at you."

"Knock it off."

"Why?"

"Because, you should be annoying that pretty girl in the red dress."

"Can't, Cuddy'd have a fit."

"WHAT!" House exclaimed.

James just winked and left the room, leaving a befuddled House in his wake.

END -

Well that's the end, should I write a sequel? I need at least 15 reviews, so get going or no sequel. This has been fun, and I loved writing this...I didn't initially plan to end it here, but I figured I'd leave it for you to decide.
