Faces staring

Never changing

Always fearing and despising

These faces staring at me

Hating me for what

I cannot change

Fearing me for what

I can do

Despising me for being

A Daemon, a Devil's Child

When I'm Human

Just like them

I weep!

I feel pain!

I dream!

I love!

I have a soul!

I can die…

We're not so different

You and me

Please, Please try to see

Beyond this twisted flesh

This horrid cage

That I am forced to dwell in

I am Human

Not a Phantom

Not a Monster

I am Erik
