You left us when we needed you most

I remember… I remember Mom crying

Crying for you to come back

Crying to someone who couldn't hear

You left us

You call yourself a father?

For six long years Mother has been dead

Where were you?

WHERE!

When mother died…

YOU ARE NOT MY FATHER!

A father is someone who holds their child,

Gives them sweets,

And plays with them

A father holds his wife and murmurs sweet nothings in here ear

Helps her around the world

And holds her when she is hurt

A father does not leave

He doesn't go off and never call,

Or mail,

Or never come back

How could you?

Yet you did!

Folly

You came back to what you thought was a family,

A home

I laugh at you

Our house is burned,

You came back for your sons,

But one is a statue,

A stone

And I,

I am a state alchemist and cold inside

Mother…

She is gone

But a creature takes her image,

Father look at what you have caused

If you had stayed, mother would still be alive

Al would have his real body,
