This is a collection of two short poems, both of which provide the reader with quiet reflections on what is, what was, and what very well might have been. I hope you enjoy them.

Hi there. If you're reading this, then there is a good chance you are familiar with my other fan-fiction "Element". These two short poems are just a little something that wormed their way into my head and wouldn't go away until I typed them up. (Now I have them memorized; so much for that theory. LoL)
These are not meant to coincide with the main plot of my fan-fiction, but instead only to balance a need to write with the lack of time that it would take to create another chapter right now. So, I guess you could kind of think of these as a fan-fiction of a fan-fiction, as odd as that may seem. Personally, I like to think of it as adding a slight bit of character to my story by providing the reader with "something different", if you will.
So, without any further adieu, I'd like to give you a brief glimpse into the more artistic side of my personality.
What does the riddle speak of, you may ask? A statue.
("Requiem for a Heart of Stone")
Earth shall bind and hold your form,
Though water shapes the soul.
Air doth bring you back to life,
While fire makes you whole.
-
All my thoughts and all your dreams,
Are naught compared to what it means,
To live today, which I hold fast,
And forge ahead through our own past.
-
What I might do should you awake,
Has long surpassed my strength to hide,
For now I know that I would spake,
The truth that flows from deep inside.
-
"I love you, Terra. From the bottom of my heart." - Beast Boy
Rune and Raven really are kindred spirits.
("Shared Memories, True Love Blooms Eternal")
My eyes cast on the realms above,
Seek grandeur here amongst the now.
A timeless faith worn deep by love,
Stands witness to a solemn vow:
-
"I will not cower, hide nor fear,
Lest evil come, through me appear."
By my own heart I hope to show,
The truth of which that I now know.
-
Your guiding hand I need implore,
For in the past I did ignore,
The strength you gave me,
Through and through,
-
My eyes, my heart, my love to you.
Forever.
Poetry is only difficult for those who have no imagination.
