Shockbox: …And, surprisingly, Magna is not a Mary Sue. (shrugs) Magna, the main character, was originally a Sue, although I fixed her character up since the original story was written in 2005 when I first joined this site. She was very much a Mary Sue, but I rewrote her since I can’t stand Sues anymore. (grins) She got a 24 on her Mary Sue Litmus test, so I’m very pleased with her now. (grins) I do not own Transformers, although Magna is mine. Please read and review!

Imaginary - Evanescence

If there was one thing about Magna that Megatron loathed, it was that she smoked.
Megatron looked over at the girl sitting next to him. She may have looked human--she looked enough like one anyways--but she wasn’t. It was a funny thing really, but she could transform from a human to a dragon like a Transformer could transform from a robot to whatever. Humans called her human, though she was from an entirely different planet as well. Her home planet, Dragonia, was destroyed by Unicron when she was only three years old. Sadly, she was the only survivor that was eaten by the monster planet. After wandering around Unicron, she met Alpha-Q and Scorponok.
Megatron referred to it as a sad turn of events but he never felt that way.
For fifteen years, Scorponok trained her to become the fighting machine she was and when Alpha-Q said he found an energy source that could revive their planets, they went to work stealing Energon from Earth. Unfortunately, they revived Megatron by accident.
After he gave Scorponok the Decepticon insignia, strapped him to an artificial comet and sent him flying into the Energon Grid, and chassed Alpha-Q into space with Unicron’s head, she always glared at Megatron with her hazel eyes in his presence. Scorponok was like a father to her since she couldn’t remember her own.
When she was in human mode she was about six feet tall--rather large for a human, though she was far from ever being one anyways--had short, shoulder length black hair, hazel eyes, and she wore black jeans, black sneakers, and a black shirt that was ripped down the middle so you could see her bra. Megatron mentally laughed at her scuffed appearance when she had gotten into a scuffle with a pack of Terrorcons under his command. Her shirt had been torn down the middle then, and it left her with a rather nasty scar down her chest…
He could’ve cared less for her shabby appearance. He just hated it how she smoked…
The blacked haired woman snarled on her perch on the side of Megatron’s throne, took her cigarette out of her mouth, and crushed it in her palm. “That’s it. I’m bored,” Magna suddenly sneered out while she was in her human form. Megatron snorted at her outburst, not bothering to reply in the slightest, and it only seemed to irk the female further. Mag turned her attention to her leader fully, glaring hard at him. “Can we please go fight the Autobots or something? We’ve been sitting around not doing anything for three days!”
Megatron smacked his head against his forehead at the female’s temper. Most of the time, she was quiet and only talked when she was addressed, noting she was never one for getting too close to others. Not after what he did to Scorponok… Nonetheless, during painfully boring times like these that she would get into a dangerous mood.
“Magna, we can’t attack because of the Energon Grid. Or did you forget that.” Starscream said trying to calm her down.
Magna shifted her attention to the black Seeker’s direction. “I know that,” she hissed. “But it doesn’t help…”
“Besides, the Autobots would probably kick our skid plates again,” Snowcat said crossing his arms. His obvious frustration radiated off him like heat from a fire. “We suck! There’s no way we can take out those Autobots at this rate!”
Megatron, having just about enough of the sudden outbursts around the room, glared at Snowcat for a few moments before some cables shot out from the walls at him. Snowcat let out a yelp as the cables wrapped around his ankles and wrists just before they hoisted him up into the air.
“If you value working for me you’ll shut the slag up, Snowcat,” Megatron yelled causing everyone in the room, aside Starscream and Magna, to look at him with nervous optics. Magna stood up from her seat next to Megatron and clenched her fists. She was still in a dangerous mood.
“Leave him alone! He’s right so why don’t you shut the fuck up, jackass,” she snarled just before Megatron got up from his throne and threw his fist at her.
It was an impulse really, noting Megatron only had to get his point across. He never came close to hitting her.
Before the punch could slam into her fragile body and kill her, she was engulfed in a blinding light. Her frame quickly changed from a small human to a red scaled beast as tall as Megatron on all four legs. A dragon. This was why Megatron was so rough around her. He knew she would just transform into dragon mode and block it.
When she was in dragon mode, she had red scales and red eyes that glowed like fire. Her huge, boney wings were similar to a bat’s but red in color. She also had razor sharp claws and teeth that she used to rip Autobots apart with ease. Her bottom jaw was longer than her upper jaw, and she had a long tail with a scythe like tip. Two horns were also on her head that were skinny, strait, and red in color. Two boney horn like growths were also present in the back of her two front legs.
She swiftly lifted her tail and used it to block the punch Megatron threw at her. As his fist made contact with the dragon’s thick tail, there was a loud crack and it became obvious that Megatron had broken his hand. Of course, the leader of the Decepticons put that aside as a smirk appeared on his face.
“Excellent defense Magna,” he said with a completing voice before the smirk on his face was replaced with a frown. “Show some respect and maybe you won’t have to use that defensive tail block so much.”
Magna let out a soft growl and lowered her tail as Megatron turned away from her and faced Snowcat, who was still being held by the cables.
“Now, what to do with you? Maybe I should feed you to Unicron seeing that he still needs more Energon,” Megatron said just before the cables released Snowcat.
He fell with a thud onto the floor and looked at Megatron quickly with scared optics behind his light purple visor. Megatron then grabbed Snowcat by the neck and lifted him up so that he was face to face with the Decepticon leader.
“Well?”
“N-no sir please,” Snowcat managed to stutter before Starscream spoke up.
“Please, Megatron sir. He doesn’t deserve it,” the black jet said as Megatron turned his head to his most loyal soldier.
“Hmmm… Yes you’re right,” Megatron said turning his head back to Snowcat. He smiled an evil grin just before Megatron tossed Snowcat across the room despite having a broken hand.
Snowcat went flying through the air strait at Demolisher and Tidalwave. The two Decepticons quickly jumped out of the way before Snowcat bashed against the wall. He slumped down to the floor and laid there silently with his optics offline. An evil smile of satisfaction made its way across Megatron’s face.
“He deserved that.”
Demolisher ran over to Snowcat and kneeled in front of him. Grabbing both of his shoulders, he shook him slightly trying to see weather he was unconscious or not.
“Snowcat? Snowcat, say something,” Demolisher said in a semi frantic voice.
Snowcat’s response wasn’t immediate, but it down to the point. “…I’ll give you thirty milliseconds to let go of me,” Snowcat said just as his optics came online. Relived that his friend was okay, Demolisher let go of his him and helped Snowcat back onto his feet.
“Besides. I know someone on Cybertron who would be a much more worthy soldier compared to this pathetic team of Decepticons,” Megatron said as he sat back down in his throne.
Magna, who was still in her dragon form, turned to Megatron. “And who would that be,” she asked. Then, another one of Megatron’s evil smiles made it’s way across his face.
“His name’s Shockblast.”
Snowcat, Demolisher, and Tidalwave looked at Megatron like he had gone turned pink. Of course, Magna had no clue who he was and Starscream didn’t either. It became deathly quiet and no one said a word. Then, Tidalwave broke the silence.
“Don’t trust Shockblast. Shockblast bad,” he said.
Magna looked to the other Decepticons, raiding a nonexistent eyebrow. “Would someone mind explaining to me who Shockblast is?” Magna asked as she scratched her side with her right hind leg.
“Well, he’s this nasty and evil kind of guy who has a bad temper,” Snowcat said walking over to her. It was amazing that he could actually walk after being thrown across the room by Megatron.
“And he’s mean,” Demolisher said following Snowcat.
“He also has a huge blaster for a left arm.”
“And he’s mean.”
“Did I mention he has this one green eye he uses to see in the dark?”
“And he’s really mean, dammit!”
Snowcat turned to Demolisher with an annoyed look on his face despite having a visor and faceplate. “Will you shut up? Please,” he yelled said throwing his hands in the air.
“But he is!”
Dismissing Demolisher and Snowcat’s mindless bickering, Magna turned to Megatron. He had his chin sitting in his hand and it was clear that he was thinking about something…
“So, how are we goanna get him from Cybertron to here,” she asked breaking into the mech’s thoughts. Megatron was staring at the view screen that showed Cybertron just before he turned to Magna.
“Well, since you’re able to travel through the Energon Grid without frying, I was going to send you. All you have to do is rescue Shockblast from the high security prison two miles east of Cybertron’s capital, destroy some of the Energon Towers, and bring him back here,” he replied waiting for her response.
“What’s in it for me?”
Megatron let out a low growl and clenched his broken fist. “Your life,” he snapped just as a wave of pain erupted from his hand. “It would be a shame if you died at my hands at only twenty--”
“I’m eighteen!”
“Silence!” Megatron leaned back in his chair and glared at her. “Maybe if you stopped smoking those damned things, you’d look a tad bit younger.
It was a common fact Magna looked older than she really was. The black circles under her eyes in her human form and her ragged air ruined her young features, and the fact she smoked helped very little for her complexion.
Magna only rolled her hell red eyes and dismissed Megatron’s comment. She knew he would never hurt her. If he did kill her, he would loose the war and Megatron hated losing almost as much as he hated Optimus Prime. She then blasted a hole in the wall and flew out of Unicron towards Cybertron.
“We have a door!” Megatron yelled as he surveyed the damage done by the dragon. Great. As if there weren’t already enough holes inside Unicron…
“Is there something wrong Megatron?” Starscream asked his leader knowing something was bothering him.
“I’m having second thoughts about sending Magna to get Shockblast. What if he turns on her and kills her? She’s our key to winning this war,” Megatron replied.
“Is that all sir?”
“Shockblast is probably still pissed at me for destroying his mother and father and taking his arm. That retard thinks I murdered them when I was only eliminating a problem. He probably still thinks I killed his brother too.”
Starscream and Megatron were quiet staring at the view screen before Starscream turned to look at Megatron’s hand.
“I can fix that.”
“…Fine. It’s starting to get on my nerves anyways…”

Magna glided towards Cybertron as she traveled towards the planet at a relatively fast speed. If she went too fast though, she would go off course do to there being no gravity. Being a part mammal and reptile also worked to her advantage because the genetic mutation allowed her to withstand the vacuum of space in the sense of the frigid nothingness and the lack of any air.
She wondered if her dragon family, which was now dead, had the same ability. Could they do the things that she could if not more. Well, they probably could do more because there was one thing that Magna was never able to do. Breathe fire.
It was embarrassing for her that she couldn’t breathe fire and torch all of her foes like normal dragons in fairytales. But, she wasn’t exactly a normal dragon as she would soon find out. Suddenly, she sensed someone following her and she turned her head to see no one in sight.
“I must be imagining things,” she said to herself as she turned her head back to the planet dead ahead of her.
Little did she know though, someone was watching her. Just out of her sight was a dragon with white scales and blue eyes that sparkled like the ocean. Instead of having four legs though, it had two huge wings and only two legs indicating that it stood upright. Its wings were almost twice as big as Magna’s and it had a crest on its head. There were blue circle and line like designs on the dragon that were blue like its eyes.
“Magna, you’re not alone in this universe,” the dragon spoke with a feminine voice. “There is more to you than meets the eye along with the warrior Shockblast and his younger brother, Sixshot. You will fall in love, have your heart broken, and fall in love again. You will be betrayed and loose the ones that are most dear to you. You will go on an adventure that will change the universe as I have foreseen.”
The dragon paused for a long moment before she spoke again.
“My daughter, you will be the one to save us all in Dragon Saga.”
