Hello! It's me again, with another SC fic! This one is about Tira, our favorite psychotic servant of Soul Edge. I seriously love her and the way she fights. Anyway, if I get her character wrong, please tell me so that I may remove (and maybe rewrite) it. And now, on with the show...

Disclaimer: I don't own Tira, or any of the characters related to the Soul Series.

Summary: In her mind and through her eyes...people were most beautiful...before they died.

Doux Morte (Sweet Death)

The bodies of men spread all around her. They were strong, but they didn't prove to be any fun...

Tira was staying in a forest, picking off any unsuspecting travelers that happened to come by. They were mostly thieves and crooks, but to the blue-green haired girl, all prey were the same.

Hopping swiftly through the trees, her precious ring blade hanging off her shoulder, Tira began to follow a group of men that had come. Apparently, she had killed a few innocent people-which she remembered, couldn't quench her thirst for the kill-and they had sought to kill her.

The assassin looked down at the men from the trees and licked her lips. A few wielded weapons, but that didn't seem to bother her. All she wanted was to her their beautiful screams of pain and agony; to see their precious life fluids stain the ground and her blade.

Tira leapt down from the trees and landed in front of the men. They were surprised-what was a girl (Despite her odd appearance) doing here at such a dangerous time? One of the men got the answer when Tira threw her ring blade at him and sliced him almost in half.

The assassin quickly grabbed her weapon and looked at the men with an insane smile. "Let's get this over with," she said cheerfully, despite the fact that she had just killed a man, "There's no point in dragging this out right?"

A man stepped forward, wielding a Chinese blade. By his posture, you could he was the leader of this group. "I shall take you on, if that is what you wish," he said as he got into a fighting stance. Tira got into her stance before running forward and swung her Aislene Drossel.

The man ducked to avoid being cut in half and being to slash away at Tira. The girl blocked the attacks with her weapon and kicked the man through the inner circle, causing him to stumble back. As he was partially stunned, Tira began swinging the Aislene Drossel on her arm as it became enshrouded in flames. She winked at the man, and swung the ring blade with one hand, cutting the man in half.

The other men were stunned. The man who was the strongest fighter in their village...killed! By a young woman! Tira looked at the man with an unhappy look on her face.

"Either way, you would have died eventually..." She looked at the remained men, a frown still implanted on her face. "I'll keep you company...until you're destroyed..." The fear in the men's eyes grew as the green-clad girl jumped towards them and stuck one of the sharp blades of her weapon into one of their chests. Another, she kicked before cutting him from the waist down.

The ones who wielded weapons tried to attack her, but Tira moved around gracefully and dodged their attacks. She moved around as though she were dancing, spinning a few times like a ballerina with the Aislene Drossel in hand, resulting in her cutting through her prey. All the while, she had a smile on her face.

Tira looked around. One left. He was holding a sword and shield, shaking in fear of the blue-green haired assassin. Tira grinned manically, blood stains on her clothes.

"Hey, don't run away. We're not finished playing yet!" She said cheerfully as she dashed forward. The man closed his eyes and swung his blade. He thought he had hit her. He opened his eyes, and found no one there.

"Boo." Tira whispered from behind him, before slashing him in the back with her ring blade. The man fell to the ground with a cry of pain. Tira looked happy and thrilled. There it was, the look of fear in his eyes, the cry of intense pain, the blood that had now stained her precious weapon...

Death was such a beautiful thing.

She looked at that down at the man. "Is that the best you can do?" she hissed. "What a killjoy." She raised the Aislene Drossel and stabbed the man in the back with one of the bladed tips. She dug the blade in deeper, now with a smile on her face. "Hurt much? Oh, I guess you can't hear me anymore." She pulled out the ring blade and inspected it. She frowned. These men were such nuisances. At least the thieves didn't try to run away like cowards.

She looked at the decapitated corpses of the men she killed, yet felt no remorse for what she had done. In Tira's warped, dark mind, these people deserved the most painful death imaginable. But if there was one thing she liked about those men, it was this:

They were most beautiful, right before they died.

Tira felt a bit satisfied, but that still couldn't quench her thirst for the thrill of killing and the scent of blood. Those were a necessity for her-things she couldn't live without. Even if she wasn't an official assassin anymore since the Birds of Passage became no more, she still desired the sight of blood and the sound of people crying out in pain right before they died.

Perhaps she could stay, for a little while longer before leaving for another place, to relieve her killer urges. Maybe people would come in search for those men.

A smirk came to Tira's green lips. She may have a few new victims to play with before the end of the day...

Ta-daa! And there you have it, my 2nd SC fic, Doux Morte (In case you don't know, that's French for "Sweet Death"). Please review and tell me what you think. I'm sorry it looks so short, but a horror movie inspired me to write this. If I did anything wrong, tell me so that I may remove this story!
